@lj2022 thank you, I think I might give that a try this month!

LucyLoopyLu · 30/09/2022 16:53

@lj2022 I am seriously considering trying the cough medicine this next cycle! It sounded completely mad when I first heard it but now I can see why it works 😂 i think we have a bottle of the green benylin as well

lj2022 · 30/09/2022 16:55

@LucyLoopyLu honestly I was so confused I read about it quite early on and got to the stage of being so fed up and thought I may aswell try it. Might have been coincidence but always worth a go even a few times to see

SarahShorty · 30/09/2022 17:44

Just found out that someone at my work might be pregnant 🥲 I don't know their story, but still. Sigh.

Daisy155 · 30/09/2022 22:39

Hi ladies so I am so nervous because I am having all, the AF symptoms. My AF is supposed to come on Sunday and I really tried my best this cycle. I also think I ovulated at a different time! I really want this so I have bought the clear blue ovulation advance test, vitamins and also got the Flo app. Fingers crossed I don’t get AF. But anyone has ever used the clear blue ? Or should I use the first @ home OPK tests ? What has worked for anyone? Thank you so much

Nypie · 30/09/2022 22:57

@Houseelf90 @lj2022 @LucyLoopyLu I actually tried it this month and had some decent fertile cm days so definitely did something!

Houseelf90 · 30/09/2022 23:09

@Nypie thank you! That’s great to hear!

HeathenPlayingHouse · 01/10/2022 01:29

For anyone looking to try Guafenesin, it's the active ingredient in Asda's cherry cough syrup- that's what I tried and it was a big help.

Technically CD49 since it's after midnight, and the weirdest thing just happened. I was sat here watching tv, snacking on a few pretzels when I suddenly felt sick and had to run to the bathroom. I thankfully didn't vomit, but was heaving a fair bit- no idea what brought it on?

I'm now 4 days post Provera, so hopefully AF will turn up sometime soon.

Dreamingof3 · 01/10/2022 09:38

Gender scan today! Feel super nervous for some reason...hope baby plays ball as they've been awkward at every other scan so far 🤣

Will come back later and let you all know its a girl 🤣🤣

Houseelf90 · 01/10/2022 11:25

Thanks @HeathenPlayingHouse - I picked up sone Tesco own cherry cough medicine yesterday which contains Guafenesin - around half the price of the branded ones!

Daisy155 · 01/10/2022 13:48

Good luck @Dreamingof3 😃 and @HeathenPlayingHouse I will give it a try!

Dreamingof3 · 01/10/2022 15:19

I was right!

💗💗💗

Daisy155 · 01/10/2022 15:33

Aww congratulations on you baby girl 💕🌸🌸💐

LucyLoopyLu · 01/10/2022 16:57

Thanks @Nypie I think I will give it a go!

@Heathenplayinghouse - that's weird, hope you're feeling better now. Do you think that it could be a good sign though?!

@Dreamingof3 congrats! How did you know it was a girl? Was everything ok? Did they change your due date or anything? X

lj2022 · 01/10/2022 19:24

@Dreamingof3 oh how exciting 💖 I can't wait to find out what we're having now, the next 3 weeks can't pass quick enough

Dreamingof3 · 01/10/2022 19:28

@LucyLoopyLu I just had a feeling! Although I suppose I had a 50/50 chance of being right 😂

All looks good, measurements match up and we got to hear her heartbeat too 💗

Welshgal85 · 01/10/2022 19:34

@missmoosh the cramps were all along my lower stomach, where I get period pains but these were much much sharper! He did mention a cyst as a possibility too but think because it’s been off and on maybe not? Just have to see what happens!

@LucyLoopyLu yeah writing it all down as lots to remember and handy to be able to refer back to things!

AF has finally arrived which is good so just keeping my fingers crossed for this month now! 🤞🏻

ElleBelleLou · 01/10/2022 19:40

Hi everyone!

I hope it's okay for me to join. I finally feel ready to TTC again after a miscarriage back in March. I'm TTC my first baby.

I haven't been tracking ovulation or anything and my periods have been a bit out of whack since I had covid just over a month ago so I don't know where in my cycle I am at the moment. What I do know is my nipples have been extremely sensitive to the point of almost painful if my clothing has rubbed against them etc, so I decided to take a test on a whim. This really was on a whim - about 30 minutes hold and this evening so what can I say 🤦🏻‍♀️ Can anyone see anything? In person I can see a bit of a shadow, but is it line eyes / wishful thinking or what?

@ElleBelleLou I can definitley see something but I’m not sure what as it’s quite faint, maybe try again in the morning with fmw?

PPop · 01/10/2022 21:52

Now officially trying, came off BC 3 weeks ago and just been seeing what happens. No period yet, I usually had spotting regularly (like a super light period) on BC due yesterday and nothing yet. Had some mucas like discharge yesterday and today so not really sure what all this means...
Did an ovulation test today for the first time and that was a nope... so I don't really know what my starting point is, spotting? Wait for a period?

HeathenPlayingHouse · 01/10/2022 22:27

Congratulations @Dreamingof3! 💗

@LucyLoopyLu For a moment I wondered, but I doubt it. More than likely it was my acid reflux- I don't tend to feel sick with it, but maybe the salt irritated it more?

Either way, still no AF. I've got another 10 days to wait before I'll question it, last cycle it turned up after 3 days but the first time was about a week.

Theawkwardblonde · 01/10/2022 22:29

@Dreamingof3 congrats on your baby girl!

Hope everyone is okay. Been very quiet on here as been suffering with hyperemesis. Not ideal abd been in and out if hospital. Beeb awful as it's meant time away from my little one. 17 weeks in a few days.

Nypie · 02/10/2022 00:14

Good luck @Houseelf90 @LucyLoopyLu !!

Congrats @Dreamingof3 so exciting!

@Theawkwardblonde sorry to hear you've not been well

Jade57 · 02/10/2022 09:34

@Dreamingof3 congrats on your baby girl! Can I ask how far along you are? We are bursting to find our asap. I'm only 7 weeks so still a fair bit to wait.
Also has anyone had a scan at 9 weeks? Does it look like a baby? I have one booked and plan on telling our 2 children after it but we're worried the scan will look like a blob rather than a baby and we would love to give them something they can see as a baby

Theawkwardblonde · 02/10/2022 09:50

@Jade57 I've had ones done at 9 weeks in both my pregnancies. 1st child it looked like a baby, like a little kidney bean/T. rex with arms and legs. This time we had a scan at 9 weeks but it wasn't very clear so didn't look much more than a blob. Think it depends on position etc on the day.
