@Jade57 massive Congratulations!! So happy for you xx

Ballygowenwater · 10/09/2022 22:27

Congratulations Jade.

Unfortunately for me AF has just arrived tonight 😫

december2020 · 11/09/2022 10:21

How is everyone doing today?

I'm feeling a bit under the weather, think I've caught a cold!

In a bit of a limbo with current cycle, no pregnancy symptoms at all, but no AF symptoms either, now waiting for AF to arrive so hopefully can start properly next cycle.

winningeasy · 11/09/2022 10:30

Can I join please?

It took me a year to conceive our DD. I am 40 now and really want a second child. This is our first month of trying.

I have slighter higher TSH (around 2.5, early, fasted), am trying to treat it naturally instead of going on Levothyroxine (as I don't need it medically and body can get reliant on it) through diet and supplements. I conceived the first month I took it before so in a bit of a dilemma 🤷‍♀️ anyone else dealing with sub-optimal thyroid?

Been doing lots of detoxing and trying to get healthy again, lots of supplements. And I think something worked this month as I saw a lot of EWCM on CD14 (never saw this at all when I was ttc before so fairly exciting) and we DTD that day. I got a positive LH that day too, then no EWCM the next day. So hoping it's the right timing even though I believe ovulation comes a day or two after LH peak? Natural Cycles saying that I ovulated between CD14-16.

We only DTD once this month tho, so would be a bit of a miracle. I am 2-4dpo.

Baby dust to all and congrats on BFPs
X

@Jade57 congratulations 😍xx

kizzy97 · 11/09/2022 12:19

@Jade57 huge congratulations!! Happy and healthy 9 months to you! ❤

NotARegularMum · 11/09/2022 15:45

Hi all, just inviting myself to join you all.

TTC#1
First cycle properly trying, CD5 currently.

I have really irregular cycles and have never got a peak on an opk, but blood tests are ok. I understand I may have an uphill* *struggle, but have faith that a miracle will happen sooner rather than later!

Babydust to all!

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 11/09/2022 21:14

Welcome to all newcomers x Goodluck with your TTC journey x

CD10 for me of cycle 6 I think. DTD tonight first time this cycle and first time since last month! Have been so busy and working evenings so didn't see DH much on a night. If this cycle doesn't take I have my bloods on CD4 next cycle. Hoping for a summer baby now x Going to take it easy a bit over next few weeks. Will track ovulation over this next week to see when I ovulate.

Baby3herewego · 12/09/2022 07:57

Eeeeeee @Jade57 yey!!!!! Love seeing a digital. How are you feeling?

Jade57 · 12/09/2022 08:05

@Baby3herewego I'm feeling ok. With my other 2 pregnancies I didn't get much sickness or anything so I'm hoping this one will be the same. I have a private scan booked for the 28th when I will be 6 weeks so fingers crossed until then

Amyjones86 · 12/09/2022 08:28

Hello I am hoping I can join 😃

I’m currently CD16 I got my peak yesterday. This is my first round of Clomid. I’ve had a MC and 2 chemical pregnancies this year. I have a son who is 2 on Friday who was conceived after a laparoscopy after 3 years infertility.

Good luck to everyone and congratulations on BFPs.

amy X

Baby3herewego · 12/09/2022 08:28

@Jade57 fingers crossed for you! One of mine I had no symptoms or sickness and the other I was sick multiple times a day from 5 till 27 weeks.

Jade57 · 12/09/2022 08:31

@Baby3herewego awwww you poor thing! I hope I'm not speaking too soon, I don't cope too well with being sick lol

My2boysaremyworld · 12/09/2022 09:13

So Iv got a hospital appointment today on the phone with the fertility clinic. Not expecting much from it. We had our first appointment this time last year on the phone agsin. Had blood tests done and tried to do a internal dye to look at my ovaries but she couldn't do it 😩 had a phone call in May cuz a new nurse took over. Just know they will say if you lose weight we can give you IVF. Iv lost nearly 2 stone since my first appointment but with PCOS I struggle to lose it and keep it off 😢 well will see what they have to say today xx

EdinburghGirl1 · 12/09/2022 09:18

@BellaTheDarkOverlord hoping you won't need those bloods next cycle

@Jade57 that's great you didn't get much sickness before. I just felt nauseous with my first but so far not feeling too bad. Just a little in the mornings. Hoping it stays that way as go on holiday on Thursday and don't want to feel rubbish. Aw a an early scan will be lovely. We've decided to just wait.

@Baby3herewego yikes that sounds rough being that sick!

@My2boysaremyworld good luck with your appointment today. That's great you've lost 2 stone

My2boysaremyworld · 12/09/2022 09:20

@EdinburghGirl1 thank you but I know it's still not enough 😩xx

kizzy97 · 12/09/2022 13:15

EWCM today so will be ovulating soon if I'm not already nearly tww time 😫

jalu47 · 12/09/2022 14:30

Does anyone else temp check regularly? I'm CD8 and my temp has been so high the last few days (36.8/9) - it seems to be all over the place and not 'normal'. I didn't ovulate last month (confirmed by bloods) and worried it will be the same this month.

winningeasy · 12/09/2022 14:52

@jalu47 yes I do temps first thing... make sure you do it as soon as you wake, before you have done anything, eg keep the thermometer by your bed and do it before you get out and ideally at the same time each day

I think temperatures is changing and it's having an impact.

I am an 5/6dpo and been having little twinges and cramps in my abdomen / down below ever since ovulation, lower back pain, loads of gas as well, feel knackered (but then I always do as have a 11 month old!), lots of wetness and stomach is rumbling loads. Were all symptoms for DD so feeling positive but it's only our first cycle of ttc so would be a miracle, plus I am 40!

Can I ask people here how EWCM corresponds with their ovulation? Does ovulation come very soon after you see you? X

jalu47 · 12/09/2022 14:54

Thanks @winningeasy - should have said I did it religiously every morning before getting out of bed. Also pretty much bang on same time thanks to my 22 month old!

I've been feeling a bit rubbish the last few days and maybe slightly under the weather so hopefully it's just that!

winningeasy · 12/09/2022 15:00

@jalu47 oh yes 💯 it will be that. And lack of sleep too. They say to discount temps when you are unwell x

jalu47 · 12/09/2022 15:02

@winningeasy oh yes, also had plenty lack of sleep last week as was on 'holiday' which with a near 2 year old was harder work than being at work 😂 Back to rest today!

winningeasy · 12/09/2022 15:03

@jalu47 I call them hellidays!!

Jade57 · 12/09/2022 15:45

@EdinburghGirl1 where are going for holidays? Wish it was me lol. I feel exhausted today just getting ready to head into a meeting and hopefully home for an early night. Hubby is off today so he will have dinner sorted and hopefully sort bedtime for my little girl while I have a long soak in the bath and go to bed

EdinburghGirl1 · 12/09/2022 15:53

@Jade57 that will be nice of your DH. We are going to Greece - Athens then a couple of the islands. Can't wait
