AF has came 13DPO feel so gutted.. onto next cycle I suppose :(

Feel like we DTD more than enough times so really suprised tbh.. does anyone know why an egg may not implant? Xx

Hello all! Hope I can join, 2nd cycle TTC after stopping breastfeeding 15 month old (have only had one period since birth due to low estrogen…). CD20 and about 3DPO (at a guess). TWW is sooo long isn’t it. Already symptom spotting with zero symptoms 😅. sending baby dust and luck to you all!! Xxx

Hello again everyone! I spent the last little while getting my ovulation/AF back on track. I'm excited this month since my ovulation taking is going better and things seem to be on schedule. I should be ovulating tomorrow or so, so trying to DTD at least every other day. If anyone needs a laugh, we broke our sex bed tonight. 🤣

Ha! Although I must ask… what is a sex bed!?

@kizzy97 @Peasinapod1 🤣🤣🤣 How to explain without TMI... I'm a picky sleeper and it seems like sex would always result in my side of the bed or blankets getting... messed up. So we have a spare bed for when my insomnia is horrible, so when we DTD I swap to that bed so my cozy bed remains clean. I now call the spare bed our sex bed. Lol. But yeah... we busted a leg off the bed frame last night. Oops.

I'm on cycle 1 of trying for #3. I'm 38 so my age is against me but I do have hope as it seems to be happening more and more for women my age now :-)

@Lollywhite who knows why an egg wouldn’t implant 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s baffling me too…..been trying for 9months+ all tests have come back normal, but historically have fallen pregnant without even trying, which had resulted in 2 DD and 3 miscarriages but now nothing 😤

@Bluelightbaby @Vikki7 hey ladies, I am 40, trying for second baby, only on first cycle of properly trying, our daughter is 11 months, it took us a year to conceive her. How's this cycle going? X

@Lollywhite sorry about af, onto next month.

So many reasons why an egg may not implant, the first being it's not fertilised, or made to the womb even, also issues with auto immunity, or just a weak ovulation that month... and loads more I am sure. How long have you been trying?

@winningeasy on CD9. Had a 7 day AF and today DTD did the first time this cycle ! I only have 22-24 day cycles so not much time !

Hello, I'm 8dpo and waiting terribly impatiently for 11/12 dpo to test. I had my 1st in 2017, 2nd in 2019 and a twin M/C at 10 weeks between them. I've always dreamt of having 3 children and DH has finally come round to and looking forward to making another LO! I'm so excited.

Quick question... do you all DTD in the 2ww? Do you think it can affect your chances?

@Vikki7 I always DTD in the tww and I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant so don't think it affects the chances

@Vikki7 same always dreamt of having three children too! But would be happy with two.

I think it's actually supposed to help chances to DTD during tww, something about regulating antibodies.

I am 6/7dpo today and had a big temp jump this morning, and been having cramps since ovulation and constant tummy rumbles, which were symptoms for me with my DD. So let's see. It would be close to an immaculate conception if I got pregnant first cycle at 40 with one DTD... it took us ages last time. I can but dream! Think I'll just wait to see it AF rears her ugly head rather than test early.

@winningeasy this will be cycle 4, I fell on cycle 2 with DD after coming of depo (without the use of OPK’s etc) so naively thought it would happen straight away this time..

i really felt confident in last month cycle but suppose it wasn’t meant to be, trying to think of the positives though.. CD 3 today and feel like I am getting more used to my cycles now they seem to have finally regulated so fingers crossed for this month xx

TTC number 1 and only in 2nd cycle trying. I got my peak on OPK this morning I think, so we DTD before work! DH is on shifts so I won't catch him for the next few days, hoping it's enough to stick!

@Lollywhite sorry for AF, new cycle, new optimism! Unsure why the egg might not implant, are you tracking ovulation so you have your fertile window? Are you using any lube? We used sylk last month as it's our normal but then I read it can reduce mobility of sperm so we stopped for this cycle.

@Bluelightbaby keeping everything crossed for you! do you track ovulation?

@Vikki7 congrats on the two children already and sorry for your loss of twins, that must have been horrific. Do you have boys or girls? Or one of each?

thankyou @LavenderWillow thats what I’m hoping! Yeah I’m tracking ovulation using clear blue OPK and easy@home to confirm.. we basically followed smep last cycle so feel like there was more than enough opportunities!

I also read about lube etc, we have been using Clear blue fertility friendly one - has anyone else used this one? I’ve heard of people using pre- seed etc xx

@Vikki7 I have heard something about DTD in the TWE can effect the egg implanting correctly. Something to do with the seamen causing inflammation.

We DTD in the TWW both times that I ended up having CP’s so this month we are not doing it at all till after period is due. It’ll be interesting to see if it makes a difference but I guess we can never know for sure.

Hi ladies!

I’m currently 6dpo TTC baby #2. This is our 8th cycle but I hadn’t realised I was ovulating earlier in my cycle after having DS, so mis-timed the first few months.

I am feeling nauseous and have had diarrhoea today. Almost fainted in Tesco this morning after overheating. Not sure if I’m getting ill, AF or a BFP is on its way!

I’m 7 dpo today. Fingers crossed we both get our BPFs in the next week.

Hi all, I'm OK 9dp 5dt with IVF/ICSI and picked up the HCG strips in Dealz (PoundLand). What do ye think? It's very very faint. I had a better response on a First Response 2 days ago, but the following morning it was lighter. I'm driving myself bananas.

@Baby3herewego very! Before DS AF was like clockwork and I got pregnant after 1 attempt. Since having a baby AF took almost 2 years to settle into a routine but still throws itself out every 6 months or so!

The mid point of the TWW always feels the worst to me. Too early to test but I get lots of symptoms that could be pregnancy or period. Fingers crossed that this is the month for us!
