Fingers crossed for more BFP's!

I Hello everyone- I’m a lurker of this thread never posted before but just (hopefully)wanted to give anyone who may be feeling frustrated/tired /fed up ttc a bit of hope . I’m 36 almost 37 , my DH is 10 years older so thought there wasn’t much hope but would see what happens.We have been trying for 1 year ( this was cycle 13) I usually lightly spot between 2-3 days before AF, cycle can vary from 24-29 days . Today was CD28 , I had no spotting whatsoever, have sore boobs and had a really vivid dream I had a BFP last night . I ended up taking a cheap test this evening …really early days but praying for a sticky bean . Best wishes to you all xxx

@Tryinforno3 Congratulations! I had really vivid dreams with one of my pregnancies! Funny eh? And my mum apparently dreamt about me getting pregnant not that long before I told her! (She's not a super clucky kinda woman so it's not like she was desperate for Grandkids, though she loves them heaps)

I am new here would like to join my app is showing I should test in a few days time I really want to be pregnant next month! I have done everything possible now it’s just a waiting game x I am sending you all lots of luck to us all

No af and no signs of her impending arrival, normally have at least some indication she might be coming for a few days by now...your body sure likes to mess with you at this time of the cycle 🙄

@kizzy97 what cycle day/ dpo are you? I think you said you have irregular cycles? But do you have an approx window so you know if you are actually 'late' now? Really hoping for good news for you!

Another BFN and no AF for me, I was sure AF was going to turn up. This is becoming a joke!

@My2boysaremyworld thank you! Though as it's been so longI think it's super unlikely to be a positive, so just waiting for AF to arrive.

Well the spot has finally burst, relief at last, I can walk and sit normally now xx

I really am overthinking it now. I have proper cold/flu symptoms, I know that the week before I found out I was expecting DS I had a really bad cold. Also cramps that were similar to what I had before I found out!!!

Would be typical, I'm getting so desperate that I actually booked a fertility tarot reading.

I think AF is finally gearing up for tomorrow haha! I can feel the cramps!
For a second I thought I was ovulating as cm is still pretty prominent- maybe I'll do an OV test just to rule it out. But I think it's definitely been too late now since we DTD to not have a positive.
What a ridiculous cycle!

Thank you so much everyone for your kind comments and apologies to anyone that my post may have triggered - I know it can be upsetting seeing someone get their Positive when you are wanting it so much - ive had these feelings for a year and this is my first BFP in that time so I know how it can feel . Just sharing some hope for those of you trying for a while . So sorry to those who have had AF show up - best of luck for next cycle xx fingers crossed for those still to test . X

My AF is due in 2 days, we only DTD twice during fertile period - although didn’t track this month as we were in NYC. I’ve given up looking at any symptoms now as I just get my hopes up and look into any symptom even though they’re probably normal for me !
@My2boysaremyworld lots of calpol (never ibuprofen) and I used to put calamine lotion in a spray bottle to spray the chicken pox pustules which helps soothe them, my two DD got it so bad !

@Bluelightbaby Iv been dabbing calamine lotion on with cotton wool. Never thought to spray it on. Not sure when he can go back to school? School said to update them tomorrow as the spots came out on Saturday. I know it's when the last spot scabs up but how the hell do you keep track of that? Xx

Quick question in case anyone can help - how long after ovulation occurs would a clear lie digital ovulation test kit be positive (a smiley rather than an empty circle).

I was unable to test (due to a holiday) until C17 and it was negative, as it was again today CD18.

Wondering if I perhaps missed the peak and ovulated on CD16, but then wondered if I ovulated that day, the surge would still have shown on CD17.

That was probably completely garbled but hopefully makes sense to someone!

God I'm sick of all this testing 😭

Should have added, I had horrific cramps on CD13 which felt like the ones I get pre ovulation but sometimes they're right before and sometimes a couple of days before.
