August cycle buddies

Hi all, thought I'd start a new thread for those starting new cycles.
I'm on CD5, so only stopped my period today.
I have PCOS so ovulation is rare.. I had my first ever positive OPK last cycle so fingers crossed.
I'll start testing for ovulation at CD7ish and then every 2 days (last month was CD27 so could be a long wait haha).

I'm still on CD5 so not much to report on this end apart from the fact I drank yesterday so my BBT spiked this morning.

@EdinburghGirl1 im off on holiday middle of next week without OH so fx for ov next few days! When do you normally get your peak opk in relation to your EWCM?

@Flowersflowers121 I try not to get my hopes up any month really, I find it so much easier to deal with if I find other reasons for symptoms etc.

@LauraA31 I have everything crossed for you! Keep us posted on your symptoms though

@MissDottie fx for the next few days then. I'm only cycle 3 and was on the pill before but last cycle was like a day 2 after I think.

Morning! Bit more of a temp spike this morning, but I slept so badly that I don't know if it's reliable. I guess I'll know more tomorrow morning.
I'm beginning to think there might be something amiss with my progesterone levels. It would explain the short luteal phase last month and the lack of temp rise this month.
If it's a BFN I will approach the GP, but I have been researching ways to increase progesterone naturally. Thankfully the tip about seed cycling was on there which I've been doing! But I'll be implementing some of the others from today too 😊
I've adjusted my ov date slightly as I put it as the day I got my peak but seems it should be the day after peak, so really I'm only 3dpo now.
But I'm feeling very nauseous and shaky/weak today, as though I have low blood sugar or something. I hope these are signs of hormonal changes following ov!

Oooh yay that looks much better :) hopefully your temp stays up!

Mine went down again this morning so I'm having the same thoughts as you regarding progesterone levels :( need to do some research on the natural boosting things like you said

I wouldn't even say that's overly faint (admittedly it's not overly dark either), but I can see it clearly. Fingers crossed it keeps getting darker!! ✨✨✨

@LauraA31 hahaha, that's so funny! Although I would have been shocked if you were able to keep it from him for two weeks, I would have been bursting at the seams.

Did another first response this morning and the second line came up within seconds!

Im so excited but nervous, im not wanting to jinx anything and know so much can change but for now we are just hoping to see the lines get darker 😅

😫 I have no idea what is going on!
I've been having bad cramps since around 4am, it feels like day 1 of a period. I even said to OH when he got up for work that I think I'm going to get my period.
Took my temp and I've had a massive dip and with the cramps I'm thinking implantation but surely it's too early. I'm only 4dpo!
I felt nauseous yesterday but feel really sick this morning.
After another dreadful nights sleep this is all too much at 7:20am 😅
