Ok second thread for those of us that are still TTC an April baby.

I am CD12 so still got a bit of a wait yet...Not even at the TWW yet.

Fingers crossed this is a lucky thread for us all ✨

@RugbyGirl1 fingers crossed for you! What symptoms are you feeling? I have been feeling a constant nausea, then when I eat it goes away but then comes back again, lower backache and really bloated. I keep having crazy dreams too, i’m just hoping my mind isn’t playing tricks on me.

@Nypie I'm glad you agree as I think I'm 9DPO today. Makes me feel better that I for a BFN two days ago (the day I thought I was 9DPO the first time) so maybe theres still hope!

I feel so behind on this group! Still not yet had a peak OPK! Excited to see everyone start testing though.

@CDD1992 Your chart looks similar to mine, you may have ovulated a couple of days later then originally thought! apparently I am 8DPO but my natural cycles says I am 7DPO after changing its mind yesterday! All my predictions changed when I added a new temp yesterday morning which really stressed me out, sometimes I think obsessing over an app/chart is more problematic! I mean who knows the exact moment when you ovulate, I wouldn’t lose hope yet, your apps could be off! When is AF due??

However, other than TTC I have no clue what all these acronyms mean?? I try and read peoples comments but I don't understand them. Can someone help me out?

Dpo is days post ovulation
AF is aunt flo or your period
Dd, ds, dp is darling daughter, darling son, darling partner
Bfn is big fat negative
Bfp is big fat positive
Opk is an ovulation predictor kit

I'm sure there are loads more but that should help to start ❤️

DTD is doing the deed i.e having sex

@LorrenK our charts do look similar!! I'm pretty sure I O'd on CD15 so I'm going with that!! AF due on Sunday evening but usually starts very light about 10pm so I guess that's classes as CD1. When are you testing? The FRER's arrived today so think I'm gonna POAS in the morning when I think I'm "officially" 10DPO x

@CDD1992 think i’m due on Mon/Tues, different apps telling me different things, think I’ll do a FRER Thursday/Friday. Just remember 10DPO is still early!! But fingers crossed for you!! Xx

@LorrenK your chart symbols indicate that you took your temperature at different times. For more accurate bbt try to take your temp at the same time every morning. I would suggest that you amend your temps on Fertility Friend to see what your chart looks like then.

@Tropicana1 im very jealous!! Hope you're having a lovely relaxing break. It's so weird when you feel like you're getting to know people on here but in reality we know no names, locations not much info at all, but its still such a lovely supportive little community 🤍

@Aurora81 thank you. I go to bed each night saying mostly silent prayers that my temp stays up (my DP thinks I'm a lunatic). Have felt very warm all day but I know how fast temps and things can change so I jusy have to hold out and hope my FMU and the FRER come through for me tomorrow 🤞🏻 x

Hi all - TTC baby #2 and currently on Cycle 2 and 7dpo.

Last time I got pregnant first cycle, so kind of (unrealistically) expected the same again. I had symptoms straight away last time (like 6dpo) and this month I have nothing, but fingers crossed anyway for a Friday morning positive.

@LorrenK I try to pick a time that is the average time I get up. So I set my alarm for that time and take my temp. If I have a day off I go back to sleep. I am a sleepyhead so it's easy for me to go back to sleep.

@CDD1992 I often whisper my dreams at night and pray that they come to life. We do what we have to in order to get through TTC. We honour ourselves by doing so ✨ 😊 ✨

CD29 and still no AF so I'm clinging on. I don't measure my basal temperature but I checked my ears earlier & was 37.6 & 37.7. I have no idea if that counts 😂

@CDD1992 definitly still hope!!

Even my dp keeps asking me when I'm testing he seems to think tomorrow would be reasonable...I'm only 4dpo 😂😂

@Nypie haha the men are cute when they try to support in their own way but they definitely struggle with the timings of the cycle sometimes 😂

@Aurora81 we certainly do 🤍 I feel like we are going to have a great month and lots of baby dust and BFPs on this thread.

@LorrenK That sounds hopeful! Both of my previous first trimesters felt like that. Constantly grazed to avoid being sick.

I’ve felt like that a bit the past 2 evenings too (as also happened with my second pregnancy) and then weirdly this evening I felt that prickly feeling of your milk kind of coming in before a feed (for those who have breastfed before!) and I haven’t had that since I weaned DD 4 months ago. It was really odd.

But I did a test this morning (10dpo) and it was a bfn so, whilst I knoooow you’re not out until AF and my own DD was a ‘first bfp at 13dpo’, I now feel like I’m out anyway! TTC logic.
