Ok second thread for those of us that are still TTC an April baby.

I am CD12 so still got a bit of a wait yet...Not even at the TWW yet.

Fingers crossed this is a lucky thread for us all ✨

Really gutted as I’m not getting a steady bbt rise.

@anotherscroller morning 👋🏻 I'm not too familiar with the natural cycles app but I do BBT on Fertility friend. It looks like you ovulated on CD17 although this is to be confirmed in the app I think. Especially as you had your +OPK a day or so before that. Your temps look OK, not everyone's shoot up after ovulation you just need them to stay above the cover line. You did have a small dip about 4DPO but that could be the start of implantation? Sorry if I'm misinterpreting your chart, as I said not too familiar with this format. X

Morning @CDD1992 thanks so much for your reply. That’s good if not everyone’s shoot up! I wish I had the data from when I conceived Dc1 so I could see if I’ve always been jumping around a bit.

what I’m worried about is that I did ovulate, but that I haven’t had the progesterone rising. So one out of two if you see what I mean. And we need two for it to work.

I’m going to try Fertility friend, I’ve seen a few people’s charts and it does seem to give more information. Thanks so much 🤗

@anotherscroller here is my FF chart. I did quite a bit of research before I started tracking but I'm by no means an expert! I also don't have a past month to compare to get so no idea if mine is looking good or not. X

Hi all new here. Can someone tell me when they think I may have ovulated. My lh peak happened but then bbt didn't rise for like 3 days?! So no idea how many dpo I am

@SVC11 hey! Can I ask a couple of questions so I can think about your chart? How long are your cycles normally and have you been doing ovulation tests? Also I mentioned below that the app you're using isn't the best so if you have the patience to do so, I suggest putting this months info into Fertility Friend as that will calculate your OV date for you based on your BBT. At a glance your OV date could be CD20 which is possible if your cycle length is around 30-31 days as your chart indicates x

@SVC11 does the orange line represent the peak? If so, its totally possible for you to get this on CD17 and then not actually ovulate until CD20.

Yeah so orange plus is peak that's from lh testing and then blue is bbt....my cycles are a bit all over the place... But I do have a shortish luteal phase lasting around 9 or 10 days... I tend to ovulate on cycle day 18 according to my peaks... And then on my periods CD 27 or 28...so I've been taking b6 and vit c for a while to try and increase my luteal phase.... But, if I haven't been ovulating until CD 20 (as shown by bbt) then that would mean my luteal phase was eveeen shorter, which would suck hmmm I did get horrendous ovulation pain on CD 18 but I know this isn't a sure fire sign (I get this every month)

@SVC11 ok that makes sense. Honestly if you can bring yourself to put the data in again, put this months into Fertility Friend. I think it'll give a better representation of where you are at. From what I can see, although you got your peak on CD17, your temps don't indicate that you ovulated then or on CD18. Do you temp at the same time every day as soon as you wake up (before you get out of bed, walk about, eat or drink anything). It's important to make sure you temp in the same way every day x

Yep every day between 7 and 7.30. I have been reading it can take upto 3 days for bbt to rise after ovulation and 36 hours after lh so I must have ovulated somewhere in that time... Just annoying I can't exactly pinpoint it. But would make sense if I've been relying too heavily on lh peak and not bbt an not getting pregnant. Fertility friend doesn't seem to want me to login right now.. Will try later. Thanks for your help 😘

Interesting bbt talk, I've got pcos so opks apparently aren't always accurate so I was thinking of tracking bbt in my next cycle. I'm feeling slightly crampy and pmsy today so think I'll be out in a few days, but then also thinking it could be implantation cramping. Wrecks my head this tww!

@thedust where are you at in your cycle? I've enjoyed BBT this month as it's made me pay attention to what my body is doing at different times in the cycle. Its also reassure me I do actually ovulate. I'm just praying my temp stays up now. Will test again tomorrow as although my chart says I'm 11DPO I think I'm actually only 9DPO so holding off for another day. X

@CDD1992 you have the patience of a Saint. 😇😂 Ive added everything gin and ff says ovulated on day 20 so will be interesting to see how short my luteal phase is with that info... For now I'm just happy my temperature is above my cover line, let's hope it stays that way and AF decides to be late this month x

CD27 today, usually have 28/29 day cycles 😔just want to know I'm out so then I can buy a thermometer and get my head around it all!

@CDD1992 that’s exactly the sort of chart I think is good. You’ve got a spike and then rising. I think mine is a bad sign 😞
@SVC11 ive read that it can take three days for the temp to rise and that’s normal. Yours looks good to me, because there’s a clear spike and then you stay above the line.

When is everybody testing, hows everybody feeling? Any BFPs in this thread yet? Fingers crossed for us all!

@SVC11 im glad FF provided a bit of clarity and keeping my fingers crossed for you. I've just started getting really painful cramps. I only get the odd twinge around AF time and I'm not due on until Sunday afternoon. These are almost bringing tears to my eyes. Praying AF isn't coming early x

Hey ladies, 1dpo over here so tww has commenced. I'm on holiday at the moment with no tests which I'm actually so happy about as I'm a bit of a serial tester usually. I've been feeling a bit guilty about having the odd wine while we've been away but now I'm in the TWW I'm going to try and be good and resist. I've had two early MC this year so I do worry and beat myself up about every little thing now. Fingers crossed this is the month it sticks and sending baby dust to you all!

Determined to wait until Monday when AF is due but might test Sunday!

@Orangesaretheonly I am due Monday too but thinking of testing Saturday. I will be 12dpo and don't think I can hold on longer than that 🤣

I've had a few glasses of wine too. With family and they don't know we are ttc so didn't wana make it obvious! Going to hold off now I think, might have one glass at a family dinner Friday but that's it. Testing Monday. Fingers crossed for you I'm

@LorrenK AF due Saturday... But I have a shortish luteal phase so will only be 11dpo at that point. Hopefully she won't show up! I bought some cheapie tests this month that I usually don't do and of course did one today and got a BFN at 7dpo 🤦 I am noticing symptoms this month though that I don't usually!

@Maxime34 I wouldn't worry too much about the odd glass of wine when TTC - it can be a long slog and you can't put your life on hold. Plus I don't think the placenta takes over until after week 7 or 8 so baby wouldnt be receiving any if that makes sense. Lots of people are pregnant without knowing for the first few weeks and carry on drinking etc as normal!

Symptoms are good! I have never noticed that I've been this bloated before prior to AF coming. I can't believe how bad it is! Trying not to get my hopes up. When are you going to test again? I'm desperately trying to wait til Monday but might cave Sunday.

@CDD1992 ovulation should be 1 day after your peak so I think CD15 and your graph seems to corelate that!
