Ok second thread for those of us that are still TTC an April baby.

I am CD12 so still got a bit of a wait yet...Not even at the TWW yet.

Fingers crossed this is a lucky thread for us all ✨

@hipposinacircle Has your smiley stopped flashing yet? Mine is still bloody going. Going to test again tonight because it’s driving me mad now πŸ˜‚

@ViMa1820 I know how you feel, it’s so difficult finding time and energy when you have other little ones isn’t it. But once at the right time is all it takes.

@CDD1992 I don’t see a line sorry, hopefully just too early.

@anotherscroller sounds very sensible. I find it really tough to try and appreciate my DS when my head is full of TTC and then feel guilty about it. Enjoy your MN break.

@MrsCristiano My OG… how are you doing this cycle??

hipposinacircle · 03/08/2022 09:56

@Charl881 still flashing here too! πŸ™„ CD15 now so hoping it will turn solid very soon. I'm backing it up with strip tests now just so I don't miss a surge in the evening, but they are all very low too at the moment.

7DPO. Feeling really nauseous today. And I'm going on a boat ride 😬 wish me luck! How is everyone else feeling? I bloody hate the 2WW. Trying so hard to not think about how I feel. Why do pre period symptoms have to be the same as early pregnancy!?

Vick2802 · 03/08/2022 10:13

Hi all, hoping for some help/reassurance - first round of letrozole 5mg, currently 12dpo and 14 days past trigger shot got my BFP on 10dpo but concerned tests aren’t getting darker or am I just panicking? What do you think?

Charl881 · 03/08/2022 10:24

@Vick2802 the 12dpo one looks darker to me, still very early days! Congratulations.

Englishgirl9 · 03/08/2022 10:37

Hi all - I had a smear test today when I'm 8dpo and now have some bleeding and cramping which I've never had before. Everything I read online said it was fine to have a smear even if you are in early pregnancy (which I am still fingers crossed for) and I know some bleeding is normal, but it's just freaked me out a bit.

CDD1992 · 03/08/2022 10:45

@Vick2802 I agree, 12DPO looks the darkest to me! Congratulations x

Charl881 · 03/08/2022 10:51

@hipposinacircle I did a strip OPK this morning too. Do you think it’s possible to ovulate and just not get a peak on the clear blues?!

RugbyGirl1 · 03/08/2022 11:03

Hey all sorry I've been MIA - work has been crazy recently. Hope you're all well and good luck to those about to test!

I'm 8dpo, no spotting yet, sore boobs, very tired, and weirdly, quite wet down there (sorry TMI) for this time in the cycle. I tested this morning but BFN. AF due on Saturday....

MrsCristiano · 03/08/2022 11:10

@Charl881 6dpo not feeling at all hopeful this cycle we only managed to DTD O-3 and O-4. πŸ˜• I used the cb digitals one cycle and the flashing smiley went on for ages and annoyed the life outta me 🀜

Tropicana1 · 03/08/2022 12:19

@Vick2802 they definitely look like they're progressing to me 😊 congratulations!

@Englishgirl9 my drs didn't want to do a smear test in the second half of my cycle when they knew I was TTC but I'm sure it's just as a precaution! Some spotting and cramping can be normal after a smear (and it could also be implantation cramping / spotting 🀞🏻)

wontonsoupless · 03/08/2022 12:26

Hi all

I wanted your opinion! I'm using pearl fertility to test for ovulation but tbh I don't really understand what I'm doing and it didn't come with much instruction. I'm using pearl, flo, premom, clue and FF to track

I've being DTD since 28th July (except this Tuesday).

Does it mean I should DTD multiple times today?

Any help appreciated. Thank you I'm aiming for an April babaBear

@wontonsoupless i would do it once today, one tomorrow, and then whenever you feel like it afterwards.

good luck!

Okay thank you for responding! I'm super excited and nervous!

LorrenK · 03/08/2022 14:53

No longer convinced, BFN on a cheapie this morning and temp dipped a little this morning, having cramps today too and not sure if its AF, I’m only 9DPO so time will tell…. I think it was probably an indent last night. Ordered a box of FRERS from amazon so we will see.

lozob · 03/08/2022 15:22

Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a while but just wanted to say hi and ask for some advice! I normally have a 27/28 day cycle but last month it was only 25 days (I think due to covid). This month I'm on CD 30 and no sign of AF until some very very light spotting just now. I've tested and gotten some very faint lines on a few different brands and types of tests but nowhere near where I would have expected if I was pregnant at this point (I'm 38 and TTC no 3 and with the others I had strong positive tests before my period was due). I guess it's a case of wait and see but I'm so impatient and hating this limbo! Does anyone have any experience of anything like this? Could it be covid? Seven seas vitamins? πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

MrsCristiano · 03/08/2022 15:28

@Charl881 what reading did the strip test give? My boobs are sore now like pre AF sore 😞

RugbyGirl1 · 03/08/2022 15:37

@lozob could you have ovulated slightly later than normal? And then implanted a bit later than your previous pregnancies? That could explain the longer cycle and the fainter tests maybe? It could also be COVID, that is meant to have an effect on cycles

RugbyGirl1 · 03/08/2022 16:34

@MrsCristiano apparently it's better for the sperm to be ready and waiting, and it only takes one, so don't count yourself out yet πŸ™ƒ

@Englishgirl9 one nurse refused to do a smear when I was in my TWW but the most recent one said it was fine and wouldn't 'disturb' anything. Spotting and cramping is normal both after smears and TTW / implantation so you never know!

Charl881 · 03/08/2022 16:48

@MrsCristiano Can’t believe you’re 6dpo already, I’m jealous πŸ˜‚ I don’t think we will do it enough this month, cba now after all these flashing smileys. But once is all it takes.

OPK was only 0.15 this morning. Usually I get about 0.3/0.4 on morning of peak and then it quickly peaks to over 1 in the evening.

Will test again this evening but not hopeful. Don’t think I’ve missed ovulation as none of my usual ovulation signs so hoping it’s just really delayed.

Although I did have the weird spotting on Monday which you’d think would be linked to ovulation.

MrsCristiano · 03/08/2022 17:17

@Charl881 @RugbyGirl1 even though I know it's unlikely I'm still going to POAS Sunday and disappoint myself πŸ˜‚ I have zero self control.

Londonlady22 · 03/08/2022 17:37

Hi Ladies, new here, I’m TTC Baby no 1, cycle no 1, currently 9dpo, is 10dpo still considered too early to test? Anybody recieved a BFP at 10 days? Not sure when to test. Advice welcome!

Clemfandango95 · 03/08/2022 17:54

As per @Londonlady22 I am ttc first baby and first cycle. Period like clockwork and According to app ovulation day was July 27th, so currently 7dpo … way to early to do a test I’m guessing ? 😫 due on August 11th so 8 days x

RugbyGirl1 · 03/08/2022 18:10

@MrsCristiano what will you be on Sunday - 10dpo? I don't usually test early but bought some cheapies and now I'm obsessed πŸ˜‚πŸ€¦ only 8dpo but my LP is usually only 11 days, due Saturday. Of course BFN this morning!

@Londonlady22 10dpo may not be too early to test with a sensitive test.... How long is your Lp usually? It depends when you implant too, it could be anywhere between 6-12 days I think!
