@H1994 that's great you got your peak and yes those are good dates. You'll probably ovulate today so I would DTD today as well if you can?

@Babydust99 that's so rubbish. I've not used them but I think the east @ home ones are meant to be ok.

@Tophy124 it kinda depends when you generally ovulate and what your cycles are like? I ovulated CD11 last month and CD12 this month so started around CD7/8 and I use CB digital ones. I hope you're enjoying your holiday. No harm just listening to your body, checking cm and DTD every other day once AF stops as you say as at least then your coveted and can check when your home if you want.

@Lion14 I'm now 6dpo so right behind you. I've been really good so far but then I've not really had any symptoms. My boobs aren't actually particularly sore this month. I'm not particularly hopeful which has actually probably helped this month. Try and keep busy. What cycle is this for you? When you you think might test? Or are you waiting for AF?

@EdinburghGirl1 I used the easy@home ones before and got faint lines on them which is why I wanted to try a different brand this time. Although the line on easy@home wasn't detectable in a photo. Hate the ic's now 😔

@Babydust99 sorry to hear AF arrived. I hate cheapies for this reason too so I just used to treat myself to a couple of FRERs for the month and try and wait to read as late of possible. Didn’t really work as I’d still then by a bucket more tests and spend a fortune. But if you can hold out until 12dpo ish with a FRER you should get a fairly accurate answer.

@Babydust99 maybe best to do as @Charl881 recommends. I like the FRER too. I have used acutest early detection tests and they are like £4 for 2 so are cheaper than FRER. I got them from coop but only used them once before.

@NatGee @EdinburghGirl1 if I had a first positive Saturday, would I not have ovulated yesterday? I'm a bit confused!

@H1994 it's not necessarily when you get a high result, but when you get your peak and ovulation should happen around 24 hours after that highest reading.

@cavebaby @EdinburghGirl1 ahh okay, I would have DTD'd about 6/7 hours after my peak so, I won't be able to DTD now until after that 24 hour period... and I don't think I could manage anyway 😅🙈 I need a nap!

9dpo I’ve done a cheapie and FRER. Now the frer alone what I can see I would typically say is an indent, it’s super faint etc etc. but I did a cheapie and I’ve never ever seen a line at all. I can see a vvvvvfl on it. I’ve photo them both but not sure you can see on camera. I’m super early so will retest tomorrow and I know it could go either way. I’ve been in the game long enough 😂😂

first, I won’t lie I’m getting a tad impatient 🤣 what about you? I usually just wait for AF to arrive as I would drive myself crazy looking for lines and I don’t want to get my hopes up and then AF comes, you know that sort of way? Are you going to test early or try and hold off? Boobs are still tender this morning, and just a constant light pressure on my lower abdomen, if that makes sense?

@Mummyme87 I can see lines on both but not any colour at this stage. Hope you get a clearer line tomorrow!

After thinking I was out am pretty sure I ovulated last night on CD18 so am prepared for a long cycle and not getting excited about being 'late' like last month. Was getting twinges on both sides so had better not be two eggs 😅Lots of good looking CM so pretty sure time is right. We're both WFH today so DH doesn't know yet but going to attempt at lunch. Managed yesterday too so hopefully have caught the right window.

@H1994 your egg will live for a further c24 hours so in fact you have around two days to DTD from your peak, provided you caught it early.
