I'm CD 24 today, if I ovulated I think I must be 11-12dpo based on CM. Urge to test is strong but I'm trying to hold off until the weekend - Flo says AF is due on Monday. This is the longest I've managed to hold off without testing!

@calipoppy I'm in the exact same boat as you! Let me know how you get on. I am starting to feel typical PMS-moody so am not hopeful!

15dpo here. Decided to hold off with OPK's this month in the end though I've got conception vitamins now. CM isn't giving me much joy atm. Wonder if I've even ovulated yet as last cycle was long so will try DTD later.

@SpringTulips22 when are you thinking of testing? Sorry to hear you are feeling PMS although I've been pregnant 3 times now and have always still had pms symptoms so you never know!

I'm CD11 today, started my OPK's a few days ago. Definitely getting darker but still reading low. Reading last night was 0.75 low and got 0.78 for my high before over 1 for my peak last month so think I'm nearly there.

My fertile window has just finished and it's time for the TWW. Managed to DTD most days except O day as DH was working a double.

I used the Fertilily all days. I'm not sure I'd use it again (or maybe just a couple of times a month on peak days) as I found it a little uncomfortable to insert & it got a bit stuck once which freaked me out

@Mummyme87 I have been so tempted to do the same when I've been in Next; they have such gorgeous newborn gros. I've managed to stop myself so far but it's the first thing I'm doing if I do (ever!) get that BFP.

@calipoppy ah wow, you have plenty of experience in this area! Thank you, fingers crossed. I also now randomly have 1 sore boob (and only in one area of it at that!) I NEVER had sore boobs before so this is very strange. Is it possible that just 1 part of 1 book can hurt?

I was thinking of holding out until AF due date on Monday, but may crack and test Sat morning. How about you?

Hi Ladies, jumping on this thread as a first timer!
was tracking my cycle with opks and temps to prepare to Ttc in the next few months but unfortunately a few friends have had miscarriages and struggled to conceive so me and DH wondered why we were waiting so just jumped in (to bed!)
LH surge was on CD 17, ovulation CD 18 confirmed by temp spike this morning CD19. Also had some brown spotting which could be ovulation spotting, but I’ve never experienced it before!

so I guess I’m now in the TWW - I honestly didn’t think it would bother me much but now it’s all I can think about! what do you ladies do to keep your mind off it? What is the earliest DPO you would test?

@LavenderWillow welcome that's great you guys decided to just go for it. Welcome to your first tww. I am 2dpo so in it with you. As soon as I started ttc it's all I can think about too. It totally takes over your mind/life lol. Try to stay busy and have some nice fun things planned in to look forward to. I think the second week is harder. Testing is a total preference. Some people prefer to wait until AF is a no show but others like to test. I would say try not to test before about 10dpo but try see what works best for you

@Glawen So technically cycle 1, so will now be on cycle 2. But a little background, I have a nearly 2yr old and haven’t been on contraception since having him due to severe endometriosis. I had major surgery earlier this year and have had health issues since having my toddler, so now I finally feel ready to actively try vs not actively avoiding. How many cycles are you on? It took 5 cycles to get my BFP with DS but I was clueless on ovulation then! This will be my 1st month I’ve ever properly tracked and my cycles are awful and unpredictable due to the endometriosis xx
