4dpo today (I think, didn’t pinpoint Ov). So nothing to report. Still twinges very low down but no sore boobs yet which has normally started by now.

on the sore boob front. So about 6months after I had a mirena coil put in I really noticed by boobs were sore in luteal phase. And it’s continued after being removed and up to now. Have done a bit of reading and it’s very mixed what it means, some say it’s high progesterone, some say it’s a sign of low progesterone, maybe abnormal prolactin levels. So a few months back I had no sore boobs really at all, and so far this cycle none yet either. Some professor said side boob pain is positive and a sign of high progesterone levels and front boob not so much. Pregnancy sore boobs tends to be late on luteal phase around BFP time.

I’m wondering if I have low progesterone levels, maybe even dodge prolactin levels that cause this pain and cycles without the pain are associated with normal hormone levels…. Equally I could be all wrong and probably am. Just my morning pondering

@Charl881 this was so nice to see this morning!! Keeping everything crossed for you! I haven't tested yet, weirdly not being sure when/if I ovulated is actually making it easier to resist early testing, making me wonder if I should just ditch opks next cycle!

Thank you everyone. I’ll keep you updated, with both my chemicals I started bleeding two days after a BFP so I’ll believe it more this time next week

@calipoppy the only thing I’d say with ditching OPKs is that this cycle I ovulated ridiculously late, didn’t get my peak until day 19 or 20. So probably would have stopped DTD as much by then if I’d not had been using the OPKs. But fingers crossed you’re not yet out this cycle anyway.

Looking for advice re OPK tests

I'm new to them. So calendar reckons I should ovulate this Friday/Saturday. I did an OPK test last night, got a faint line. Tested just there, line even fainter...

Is that normal? When should I test again?

@Mummyme87 that's actually really interesting. No sore boobs for me (which is rare) is a sign of a bfp

@NSx yeah I have a FRER at home which I’ll do this evening and then will probably order some more. With my chemicals I didn’t test every day and actually wish I had as I probably would have picked up on it happening before the bleeding started.

@Charl881 oh I’m sorry you’ve had chemicals I don’t have any experience in those but I hope this is the real deal for you - fx for a darker line this evening when you test ✨🤞

@Mummyme87 in exactly the same as you. Since coming off my pill in May I've noticed my boobs are really sore from ovulation all the way to AF. I'm hopeful I don't have a low progesterone issue though as I've been doing BBT tracking for 2 months and last month I had a clear ovulation drop with a maintained spike (due to progesterone levels) all the way until AF. Hopefully that's a good sign! X

@NSx yes one in March and one in May! I’ve contacted the Gp this morning, waiting to hear back just to see if there is anything they would recommend like progesterone.

@MrsCristiano I feel over the moon which I didn’t think I would as I thought 1) I’d be super anxious and 2) a bit torn because of not good timing with new job and holiday in a couple of weeks.

I guess I just feel like it shows I definitely don’t have a problem with getting pregnant, and if I do have another chemical then at least I’ve hit the magic number of three for the doctors to start really looking at taking it seriously.

I am worried about what will happen if I start bleeding on holiday but can’t really worry about that yet because with my last two chemicals the bleeding has started just two days after my BFP, so if I get to five / six weeks pregnant that would at least be an improvement!

I’m also in the very sore boob gang. It gets really bad before AF and then calms down as soon as AF arrives. I also struggle a lot with PMS, so I can’t help but wonder if my hormones are all over the place. I have endometriosis and fibrous breasts so it wouldn’t be unusual for me to have hormone issues too.

My PMS is so bad that my husband can say each month ‘your period is probably coming tomorrow’ because the day before I’m a crying, angry person and then as soon as it comes I’m back to normal.

Hello ladies. Entering my fertile week ttc month 12 baby no 2. Really strange having spotting 1 week after my period has anyone ever had this before? Is it ovulation spotting? X

@CRLan I had red/brown discharge around ovulation a few cycles back. Ov spotting is a thing

@CRLan I had a tiny bit of pink spotting 5 days after period this month. I thought it could have been ovulation at the time, but in actual fact i ovulated few days later, so no idea! I do have suspected endo though, and I often spot 4-5 days before period.

CD14 today and got my first high in my CB fertility monitor, ovulation should be in the next 2-3 days 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Mummyme87 I've always have late ovulation between cd18-21 but might be coming early this cycle 🤞🏼

@Ki-King our bodies like to mix it up! I’m always the earlier side, between CD11-15 but more often CD12, then a 12 day LP.

Yep tested again today with a very definite answer! Really hoping this is a good sign.

@MrsCristiano I go away bank holiday weekend so I’ll be over 5 weeks then and at least maybe past the chemical risk. It is making me nervous because I just don’t want to miscarry abroad but can’t control that.

GP has put me in touch with early pregnancy unit and seeing if they can get progesterone prescribed.
