Right, check in with OH done, ovulation tests bought, cycle started 🤞🏼🌟 let's make some babies!!! Anyone got any advice for ovulation strips? Do I do them once or twice a day??

@H1994 I use the clearblue digital opks and I start on CD 8. I start the cheapie opks when I get a flashing ☺.

@Aurora81 thank you!... sounds good. My cycles are v short so I will probably start maybe cd6?

@H1994 it's my first cycle taking evening primrose oil and my ovulation seems to be returning to normal. What CD do you normally ovulate?

@Aurora81 ahh that's good! I'm glad that's working for you! Erm, I actually have no idea, I've only ever gone on predictions which is usually CD9 but hopefully using the opks I'll be able to see exactly when this cycle!

@H1994 i do my OPK about 10am-12 and start doing two or three a day once they are getting dark so not to miss the peak

No just ovulation strips. Dtd peak day and two days after that. Felt ovulation day after peak too. Nothing before as hubby was away. X

@Orangesaretheonly so 3 days in a row, that was like me in feb when I fell. Starting to think maybe less is more 😂😅

@H1994 definitely start doing opks earlier in your cycle if you think you ovulate earlier. I am cd 11 today and my cheapie opks are negative. This time last cycle I got a peak on an opk.

@Aurora81 okay, so it can vary then 👍🏼 I've never used opks before... when both lines are as dark as each other, or test line is darker - does that mean I'm ovulating within the next 12 hours or what?? Sorry haha!

@H1994 when the control line is as dark as the test line then it's a high reading and when the control line is darker than the test line than that's a peak. Sometimes I go from high to peak quickly. I use the clearblue digital opk with fmu, and it tells me when I get an estrogen surge=>flashing ☺, which means high fertility and when I get the lh surge, peak fertility => Static ☺. I usually ovulate 12-24 hours after the peak reading, but it could even be 36 hours later. So that's why we are doing the Smep plan, sperm meets egg plan.

@H1994 we have completed cd 8 and CD 10. Cd 12 tomorrow, so we will dtd again, and judging by my opks I will get another flashing smiley ☺ tomorrow. What CD are you?

Morning all, question please for anyone doing BBT. My temps for the last 2 days (CD4 and CD5) have both been higher than where my coverline Was set for last month. My temp today is 36.56 but it too me until 2DPO to get there last month. Is it usual for ranges to fluctuate so much with each cycle?

@Mummyme87 CD10 for me this morning and also got a flashy smiley 🥰 I don’t think I’m meant to ovulate until Monday though, so might end up with 3 days of flashy’s 😅until possible static on Sunday? Who knows 😆

CD2 today and Jesus these cramps are trying to kill me 🙃😂

CD9 today and started SMEP last night. Used the Fertilily for the first time. It was very odd and a little uncomfortable to insert.
Gotta say though, it really worked. Kept all of the "little soldiers" up there for the full half hour.
It was very weird to remove it after though. Far too much "suction" noise
