This is my third cycle trying, Iā€™m currently 5dpo and definitely symptom spotting already šŸ™ƒ thought it would be nice to have some company in the TWW, meant to have AF on the 5th august but hoping I wonā€™t šŸ¤žšŸ»

Hi everyone, can I join in? I'm 4dpo, if ovulation happened when I think it did, and AF is due on Saturday 6th August, in theory. This is cycle 6 after a mc in January, cycle 8 overall, trying for our first. It's nice to see so many others getting ready to test at the same time - makes me feel less alone than before šŸ˜Š

@dobby13 oooh let's hope nasty AF stays away šŸ¤žšŸ¼ we're rooting for you šŸ„³

@simplythequest hi šŸ‘‹šŸ¼ it's so nice how everyone is literally around the same time I think TTC can be so lonely we can't mouth off to the men about all our crazy symptom spotting it's nice to chat to people who get it šŸ˜†

Thanks everyone ā˜ŗ I have to be honest, I've not started symptom spotting yet... I'm either going to notice every little thing and sound crazy or I'm going to convince myself there's nothing happening and AF will be coming. I'm not sure which is worse! I'm also a teacher, so I have fewer things to keep my mind busy (not that work was doing that very successfully!)

Morning everyone! How are we all feeling today? Iā€™m 8dpo today and think I might pick up som strip tests to use from Monday. Still really struggling with falling asleep at night and then wake up super tired which isnā€™t like me.

@TC95 AF is due on Tuesday and last night I had period like cramps and bloating so I definitely think she's on her way. Trying not to test but may do one on Sunday to prepare myself!! When is AF due for you? X

@NiceToChat88 you never know so many AF signs and pregnancy signs are the same! Hopefully itā€™s not AF and is a sign of something else šŸ¤žšŸ»Iā€™m not due AF till next Friday which seems forever away, but Iā€™ll be 10dpo on Sunday so might pick up some strip tests today to start using leading up to AF next week but donā€™t wanna get my hopes up!

Morning ladies no symptoms here but still too early 2dpo we're having a Friday impromptu party in my office today. I've walked in to bacon and egg sarnies and there's party food galore bye bye diet šŸ¤£
@TC95 the strips are cheap on Amazon I think I last paid Ā£8 for a box of 30 I saw some in Tesco the other day that were Ā£1 for 2

TC95 · 29/07/2022 09:51

@mummatara Iā€™ll have a look on Amazon and see what I can find, I know Iā€™ve seen a pack of five in boots but that was for Ā£4 so if I can get 30 for Ā£8 Iā€™d rather do that! Enjoy all the party food today sounds like a lot of fun!

Morning all, hope everyone is doing OK and not feeling too crazy! :)

Far too early for symptoms (5DPO I think..) but had awful heartburn and toothache yesterday and woken up to a banging headache and mild cramps this morning! Hate that for the first week or so the progesterone rising causes all sorts of odd feelings, definitely makes it too easy to read into things!

@mummatara ooh sounds like a fab Friday!!

Sitting on my hands at the moment... so, if we were successful this month then it would have been from either the 17th/18th - which would make me 11/12 DPO.

Do we think I should just test to put my mind at ease... or wait until Sunday? šŸ˜‘šŸ˜‘

mummatara · 29/07/2022 10:44

@dobby13 Blimey you're doing well I would have so tested šŸ™ˆ if it helps which it probably won't but I could see a positive by 11/12dpo šŸ˜¬ how long have you been TTC?

@alwaysseeingstars so far the progesterone is making me hungry šŸ˜‚

Report
NiceToChat88 · 29/07/2022 10:49

@alwaysseeingstars I'm the exact same!! This is maybe way TMI but I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst shooting pain in my butt, never had that before so I was right on Google seeing if it was an early symptom šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Bit the bullet, took the test and BFN. Now I just want AF to turn up so we can start afresh and keep trying. (Trying to not be disappointed, but I'm disappointed.)

šŸ¤žšŸ»šŸ¤žšŸ»šŸ¤žšŸ» and lots of baby dust for everyone else that will be testing in the next few days. ā¤ļø

@mummatara - it's only month one, so I'm probably getting way ahead of myself.

alwaysseeingstars · 29/07/2022 10:58

@NiceToChat88 wow, that's an odd one!! Did you find anything? šŸ˜‚I was the same with the toothache (which can be a sign, but also is from the progesterone rise which happens whether you're pregnant or not šŸ™„)
@dobby13 I want to say you should wait til Sunday, but I'd probably want to test too haha!
@mummatara that's a good thing with all that yummy food on offer!!

Report
alwaysseeingstars · 29/07/2022 10:59

@dobby13 oh no, sorry :( definitely doesn't mean you're out though! Although I do find it easier after a BFN to just assume I'm out and see what happens on AF-day.

Report
mummatara · 29/07/2022 11:01

@dobby13 so sorry big hugs šŸ’• it is disappointing there's no getting around it šŸ˜¢ but it's ok and natural to feel it. Have you been temping to confirm ovulation? Or opks? It could be your a lot earlier than 11/12dpo? Did you use FMU or use wee from a big hold? Sorry for all the questions they can all make a difference between no line and faint line ā¤ļø sometimes it can take longer to show you're not out until AF makes an appearance

Report
TC95 · 29/07/2022 11:18

@dobby13 sorry itā€™s a negative but you never know it might still be too early! Maybe wait a couple of days and if still no AF then try again?

Morning all, 5dpo today - have told my Mum that we're trying, and she was so cute... but then quite bluntly told me 'it wont happen the first month anyway' - Can always count on Mum's for the reality check haha!

Thanks, @TC95 & @alwaysseeingstars - will see what the next few days hold.

@mummatara - no temping this month (we spent the month getting to grips with TTC, will be more testing and checking next month!) & just a big wee (second of the day). No apologies needed for the questions - always grateful for the guidance and insight!! ā¤ļø
