This is my third cycle trying, I’m currently 5dpo and definitely symptom spotting already šŸ™ƒ thought it would be nice to have some company in the TWW, meant to have AF on the 5th august but hoping I won’t šŸ¤žšŸ»

@H1994 - you can always rely on a mum to be blunt šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ I told my mum too - was so excited that I needed to share the news with just one person. She was really cute, but it's killing her that she can't tell anyone else!

H1994 · 29/07/2022 11:33

@dobby13 Ahhh that's sweet :) and you defo can... haha! OOO yeah, maybe my Mum will feel the same hah! woops!

TC95 · 29/07/2022 11:34

@H1994 ive told my mum and my stepmum but she’s under strict instructions not to tell my dad 🤣 my mum texts every morning though asking how I’m feeling so think she’s just as excited as me!

@H1994 šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ yea I wouldn't be telling my MIL either though I'm aware they know we'll be trying as we've not long had a MC but I still won't be telling her I'm BD with her son what feels like every 5 minutes 🤣 Yes we can do it šŸ’ŖšŸ¼šŸ’ŖšŸ¼

H1994 · 29/07/2022 11:49

@TC95 that is THE cutest, I'd love to tell my MIL but I'm not sure my OH would haha, so I'll keep it quiet - hopefully we can tell her other exciting news in months to come!

@mummatara oh I'm sorry to hear about the MC. and yes, not quite my number 1 choice on who I share my BD stories with! haha

TC95 · 29/07/2022 11:54

@H1994 yeah I think for us we’re just wanting to keep a few people involved family wise makes it easier when we all get together as well! So they know why I’m not drinking but not really keen on telling absolutely everyone just yet haha

H1994 · 29/07/2022 11:56

@TC95 Of course, I understand ya! I've told most of my close friends and now my Mum... does make it so much easier with the booze excuses! haha

dobby13 · 29/07/2022 13:35

Well that's me officially out - AF just turned up (why at 130, you ask, and not this morning? No clue. Asking the same question. I think the world is messing with me now) At least the cramping and headaches make sense. What a waste of a test 😤

Sigh. I'm really annoyed.

mummatara · 29/07/2022 13:43

@dobby13 oh rubbish 😭 sorry lovely at least CD1 is starting earlier than Sunday though big hugs šŸ’•

H1994 · 29/07/2022 14:04

@dobby13 I'm sorry... allow yourself to feel annoyed, we're all here for ya if you need to vent! You're another cycle closer to a BFP, remind yourself of that šŸ¤—

TC95 · 29/07/2022 14:52

@dobby13 oh no so sorry fresh cycle now though and another chance to keep trying towards that BFP šŸ’ž

@dobby13 sorry to hear that lovely!

Aimee1995 · 29/07/2022 16:26

@dobby13 sorry to hear AF arrived, hopefully next cycle will bring you your BFP.

I don't know how so many of you have told your mums, I have told friends but no family because I don't want to be constantly asked whether it has happened yet, which I know is what would happen!!

TC95 · 29/07/2022 16:47

@Aimee1995 I’ll be honest for me it’s made it a lot easier, we would get questions from family a lot about when we were gonna have kids and putting their opinion in on when they thought would be the right time and now they know we’re trying they don’t really ask as much just leave us to it 🤣 I’ve found it’s almost a lot less pressure and couldn’t handle the ā€œwhen are you two gonna have a baby of your own?ā€ Especially if I’d just had AF arrive and was already feeling a bit upset about it not happening that month!

@Aimee1995 I'm the same, I haven't told anyone we are ttc other than a close friend as I was needing to someone to talk to about how tough it was! I hate the constant comments and remarks like "you'll be next" or "surely it's time to have a baby".

I also feel like I put myself under enough pressure without family adding to it 🤣

J1290 · 29/07/2022 17:25

Due on 4th aug
fingers crossed for everyone
not convinced this month
but šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

TC95 · 29/07/2022 17:26

@J1290 hi! You never know it could be this month I’ve got my fingers crossed for you šŸ¤žšŸ»Do you know what day you ovulated?

I get it - my mum is really relaxed (my sister has three children, so I think she's got a lot of the 'where are my grandchildren' out of her system šŸ˜‚) and she struggled to conceive both me and my sister, so is being really sympathetic. I'd be more concerned about telling my friends - I think they'd be asking the questions all the time!!

@J1290 - I have everything crossed for you šŸ¤žšŸ»šŸ¤žšŸ»šŸ¤žšŸ»

J1290 · 29/07/2022 17:38

@TC95 hi im 8 dpo. Wnt test early--
third hopefully pregnancy so handy at not risking being heartbroken. Tired n crampy today who knows! Last cycle was 56 days long and very weird after coil came out. This is my next cycle and praying for a normal 28 dayer!! Got pregnant last time straight away so annoyed its making me wait

TC95 · 29/07/2022 18:48

@J1290 ooh your the same number of dpo as me! You never know you might have got lucky this cycle but hopefully your AF will at least return to a normal length!

@Aimee1995 @NiceToChat88 I'm the same - not told anyone though! Other than DH obviously šŸ˜‚

TC95 · 29/07/2022 19:28

Hey everyone I was with my friend today (who doesn’t know we’re ttc) and she asked me if I was pregnant as I was very congested/more snotty than she’s ever seen me, she said she got really bunged up at the beginning of her pregnancy and it was one of the first signs to her that she was. This is the first I’ve heard of this and wondered if any of you had heard similar? I don’t wanna take it as a good sign but I have been super congested the past couple of days and I don’t have hay fever or any other signs of a cold I just put it down to the weather not knowing what it’s doing 🤣

OP posts:
mummatara · 29/07/2022 19:48

@TC95 oh I didn't know it was an early pregnancy thing šŸ¤” I do suffer with rhinitis which basically means my nose runs all year round šŸ™„ so I prob wouldn't even notice šŸ˜† but interesting she's observant enough to pick up on that could be good vibes coming your way šŸ˜šŸ¤žšŸ¼

TC95 · 29/07/2022 19:53

@mummatara no it’s the first I’ve heard of it too which is why I’m wondering if it’s even a thing or just something she’s decided is a sign 🤣 I don’t usually suffer with my nose usually if I get a cold it goes straight to my chest but I didn’t really think twice about it until she pointed it out!

OP posts:
mummatara · 29/07/2022 21:55

@TC95 pregnancy rhinitis is a thing which is basically a blocked runny nose but that's a bit later in pregnancy I believe šŸ¤” haha maybe she's spooky psychic šŸ”® and that's her way of saying she knows šŸ™ŠšŸ˜‚
