This is my third cycle trying, I’m currently 5dpo and definitely symptom spotting already šŸ™ƒ thought it would be nice to have some company in the TWW, meant to have AF on the 5th august but hoping I won’t šŸ¤žšŸ»

Londonlady22 · 06/08/2022 13:07

BFN and having some cramps, think i’m out… see you on the May thread and if you got a BFP congratulations, wishing you a healthy pregnancy!

trailrunner87 · 06/08/2022 15:46

Hopefully some more BFPs come through for the rest of you šŸ¤—

ScarlettOHaraHamiltonKennedyButler · 06/08/2022 19:13

Good luck to everyone still waiting.

mummatara · 07/08/2022 06:21

Sorry AF has arrived ladies that sucks ā˜¹ļø

I'm staying a little optimistic that mine will stick I did another test with SMU and the line was clearer so šŸ¤žšŸ¼ I'm going to wait a few more days and test again.

@Katt12345 I've always take pregnacare pre conception but I have heard from others that it didn't agree with them and mucked up their cycle šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø I also had maca root in my morning smoothie which is meant to aid fertility I also gave it to DH as it's meant to improve sperm quality. So we dtd on O, -1,-2,-4 I was tracking with bbt and cb opks.

simplythequest · 07/08/2022 09:33

@Katt12345 I've been taking a pregnancy multivitamin for months, but nothing additional. We just made sure to dtd every other day from just after AF finishing until 2 days after ovulation.

Sorry to hear AF has arrived for you @TC95 šŸ˜”

Due today / tomorrow and have just taken a Clearblue ultra early response digital. Not pregnant. Again. Guess it's unlucky month number seven.

God it doesn't get easier does it? Sorry, I know lots of people have been trying for much longer so I shouldn't moan. Just gutted.

Doesn't help that every unsuccessful month means a painful, horrible period. Having a scan for fibroids in a month or so and now panicking something is wrong.

Massive congrats to everyone who got BFPs this time around, it's so lovely seeing them and hoping to share one at some point Flowers

dobby13 · 07/08/2022 16:22

Congratulations to everyone that got a BFP this month! Amazing news, and it looks like there have been a few!

Sending hugs to everyone who had AF turn up, everything crossed that August is your month šŸ¤žšŸ»

Currently on CD10, my apps have me ovulating anywhere between the 14th and 19th so it'll be a few busy weeks for us šŸ˜‚ started OPKs yesterday. Keeping my hopes up!

TC95 · 07/08/2022 17:44

@dobby13 my apps predicting it around the 17th so ovulating round similar times! Though I’m only on CD2 my cycles seem to be a bit shorter?

OP posts:
dobby13 · 07/08/2022 17:56

@TC95 - fingers crossed for you! I had covid in June, which did an absolute number on my cycle (over 10 days early) and although I'm almost back to normal now, I think my apps are assuming they'll be much longer. Taking a crack at using OPKs this month, so hopefully they'll give me a better idea!

mummatara · 07/08/2022 17:58

Is anyone still waiting to test?

Jigglemonster · 08/08/2022 21:34

Hope all the people with BFPs are doing well. Big hugs to those that have seen AF.

Find it really interesting what @dobby13 said about Covid and @mummatara about pregnacare in terms of cycle. AF is now 2/3 days late - not loads I know - but wonder if either of those things affected me this month.

Quite faffy trying to track when it's a bit unpredictable. Do you all track your temp? I tried before and it was all over the place but maybe I should try again.

I wish there was a fitbit that had exact measurements for everything that just gave a little buzz to say when to DTD

mummatara · 08/08/2022 21:48

@Jigglemonster are you sure you're def out? I have seen quite a few comments on here about covid affecting cycles. I have found tracking my temp really useful as it confirms ovulation it isn't any good for finding out when your fertile unfortunately šŸ™„ it did take me quite a while to remember to do it it's all about getting into a routine with it. I think there is an internal tracker you can use ovusense? Also I use natural cycles and they've just partnered with something called oura which is a ring you wear looks like it's basically a kind of fit bit but it will track your temp whilst you sleep so you don't have to remember to take your temp at all just wear the ring. It's looks quite pricey but probably not much more than the average fit bit is these days. When you tracked your temp were you using a basal thermometer?

Jigglemonster · 09/08/2022 16:58

Thanks @mummatara - yeah I'm definitely out, still no AF but another negative test so must be just a covid impact or something.

Last time I used a basal thermometer for temping and it was very hit or miss (having said that last time I was using it for not getting pregnant and so I was out and drinking a lot more), so it's probably worth trying again.

Just looked it up and that Oura looks amazing! Exactly what I would need but not yet available here (and $300) - though if it does what it says it's a great invention. Would be great if the other brands start to follow suit, fitbit etc. I'm guessing they will at some point and might be a bit cheaper!

trailrunner87 · 20/08/2022 07:38

Heya all, just wishing everyone in this group that's still TTC good luck in this next ttw ā¤ļø
