Hi ladies, we're onto thread 5! I'm afraid I've completely lost track of the list since I took a break off Mumsnet.... so let's make an updated one!

Roll call for those

• TTC graduates.... pregnant ladies who are you and when are you due? Hope you're all doing well

• Actively trying.... what cycle are we all in? Any particular plans for this next one?

AF arrived today.

Disappointed and annoyed - but looking at it as a cycle refresh and a chance to try again next month.

@dobby13 yes hes just not there yet.. I had a bit of a cry and told him it all over lunch and he was as lovely and understanding as always. He said he's not there but has starting looking forward to parts, has been looking over the finances to try and make sure we're in the best position possible and listening to the odd podcast and is getting there. He hadnt fully realised the logistics of stopping for a few months so im not giving birth at the alter but said he could see how thats added to the pressure. Just need to keep communication open and not let the pressure build up on me i guess!

Thank you for your reply and sorry AF has arrived, maybe treat yourself to a glass of wine/something you wouldnt have been able to have if it hadnt? I'm arranging a monthly sushi dinner for when AF arrives as a pick me up!

Thanks @LorrenK I'll definitely try that.... it's so late this time I might have missed it and be panicking over nothing.
I never fully appreciated before just how much thought and planning a lot of ladies have to put into this. I'm only in cycle 1 next month and already reading like mad, this would have been more useful in school than a lot of other classes. I feel for you ladies who have been trying and hoping for a while.

@mmp22 have you tried using the Premom app or similar? You can upload your pictures and it would help you work out when your peak is.

Are you using an app. It makes it easier as it can tell you if your low, peak or high.

I use premom and premom ovulation tests.

CD16 and my OPKs are basically blank. I think that this bug I've picked up will have pushed my O date back, but I think it's probably best if I take Provera this cycle.

I don't want to be waiting ages for my body to try to catch up, I'd rather have AF and move on to the next cycle.

I dont think you have peaked yet unless you've missed it, keep testing!

@Anna531 - you are so right, I feel like we were just told in school 'never have sex without protection, you can get pregnant at any time - sperm can practically crawl across the Sahara dessert and knock you up' and then BOOM - it's actually really bloody hard to get pregnant 😤

@Chanteuse Congrats on your coil coming out, glad it all went ok. It is nerve-wracking not knowing what impact endo might have on fertility.

@DanisEndo That sounds really hard. Glad you managed to talk to him and explain how you feel. Hopefully he won't need too much longer till he's ready. Agree re. not being heavily pregnant at wedding - I'm getting married in November, and OH has suggested a few times we try earlier but I've managed to resist so far! Much as I am desperate to start trying now, it's one of a few practical reasons to wait a little longer.

@mmp22 Do you temp? BBT a more useful indication of whether you have ovulated I think - OPK just tells you when your body has sent the signals to set it in motion.

Sorry to everyone AF arrived for. A few people have mentioned lining up treats they wouldn't be able to do if pregnant if AF comes - fab idea!

Took a couple days off here to have my wisdom teeth out and recovery has not been so fun - but it's one I wanted checked off the list before starting ttc because of the sedation, so pleased to be on the other side of it!

Does anyone's OH take any supplements for TTC? Any recommendations?

Yes @dobby13 so true. You spend your adult life trying not to get pregnant then when you want to it's not always as easy as you think

That's the message I got from sex ed in school, too. I think they sell it like that because they want to discourage teen pregnancies.

@dobby13 I guess when you're at school you are technically a lot more fertile and they just want to discourage teenage pregnancies... Definitely feel like lessons might on managing it when you're not at peak fertility in your teens/early twenties would be helpful! 🙈

😂😂 @dobby13 so right! One hour dedicated to telling you to not do it. I understand to a degree given some unwanted young pregnancies but my OH and I are learning how it works together and he's telling me things I don't know about my own body.
It's great to have communities like this one to chat about everything openly. I've learnt more here than anywhere.

Oh this has been a busy thread the last few days welcome to any new people

So I'm 6dpo and for the last 30 minutes I have had the most horrendous cramping. Thought maybe just with needing the toilet but after that it's still not eased. It feels like my bad period cramps but AF not due for another 4 days 😩 really hope this isn't her preparing to arrive early and also not wanting to think it's implantation and get my hopes up

Thanks @DesertSnow @dobby13 trying not to get too caught up in progression. I have 1 FRER left and 1 digital. Thinking I'll test again on Sunday/Monday with the FRER and then save the digital for Thursday when I'll be 5 weeks in the hope of getting at least a 2-3! Never got to that in my last pregnant so it would be reassuring! Going to try and avoid getting more tests but I'm not sure I won't cave on that!

I'm brand new to TTC so go easy on me as I'm not sure on all the lingo and how it all works 😂 I do have a 12 year old already but that pregnancy feels like a lifetime ago!

I stopped the (mini) pill a week ago and haven't bled since then so not sure where I'm at in my cycle. Am I right in thinking I should wait 21 days since stopping the pill to test?

@WingingIt09 progress is progres! Though I think after my mmc I wouldn't be able to relax until ater a scan so you take care of yourself!

@lj2022 so hoping this is your month!

@BabyG22 👋👋👋 no idea but sure someone will chime in, when I came off the pill I had my withdrawal and then after a month the shortest period but some people wait months for their period! Might be helpful to start tracking your bbt to have some idea where you are in your cycle

Partners just asked me if I would be sad if I wasnt pregnant this month I'd love to say but the hormones get me every time!

@BabyG22 welcome! It took 3/4 months for me to have the first bleed after rooming of the mini pill. I wasn't trying at the time so a little different. I would probably test in a few weeks if it hasn't arrived and you have been DTD without contraceptives, but be prepared for it to take a while xx

@Nypie yes the hormones always get me and make me feel sad when AF arrives. I probably won't relax a bit until after the dating scan. I'll probably book in a private scan about 8 weeks.... so just 4 weeks to go for that 🙈

@BabyG22 Hi, I stopped the mini pill on June 22nd and had my first period on July 15th so 23 days later.
I've just this week ovulated so I think I'm now on my first "proper" cycle. I started doing OPKs immediately after stopping the pill but only just got my positives this week. Hope it all goes well for you ❤️
