So for the first month since my mmc in January I have loads of EWCM! Thank you for the starflower oil recommendation!

@RugbyGirl1 just to add I was on the pill for 2 years, I do have children they are older so I know I’m very lucky but would love to have another little one, fingers crossed for everyone.

I feel like we’ve been really good with our timings this month. I’m feeling strangely positive. But also anxious because I don’t want to go through all the negative emotions in 2 weeks 😂 I feel like I need to plan ahead about that

@CinderellaFant yay!!! I'm so glad it worked for you! It's really helped me too and I ovulated bang on day 14 this month instead of really late which I'm sure is because it's my first full month taking it again. Fingers crossed it gives your body the little push it needed!

@Blossomhoney I used the easy@home ovulation sticks and app this month which I thought was really good. After 5 minutes you take a photo of the stick on the app and it gives it a ratio score as to how dark the test line is compared to the control line. I found it really helpful to track those scores as mine started to rise before a positive test.

@CinderellaFant The starflower oil sounds really interesting, especially if @calipoppy has found it improves your cycle as well as your EWCM. My cycles are really irregular (PCOS) and I didn't ovulate until day 20 this month so definitely something I'll look into if it's a BFN this month.

@BiscuitLover3678 Glad you managed well with your timings, it's definitely reason to feel positive when you've done everything you possibly can.

i got my Flashing smiley today on my CB a ovulation stick. Am I supposed to stop taking the starflower ? or keep taking it ? As I know you said stop when ovulating?

also whoever is doing SMEP - do you have sex daily when you get flashing or static smiley ? X

Are you supposed to DTD day after peak? 2 days after?

@NSx and @BiscuitLover3678 I think SMEP is every other day then three days in a row once you get your positive ovulation reading.... So every other day whilst flashing smileys (and maybe before) then three days in a row when you get your peak / static smiley as its predicting that you'll ovulate within the next 12-24 hours. Then a day off, then one more for luck

I started taking starflower oil this week! Think you're ok to take it until you get your static / peak smiley then should stop. Assuming you're using the CB sticks that have both flashing and static smileys!

We couldn’t do it this morning 😭 if not tonight then hopefully it was enough

I’m trying to make myself feel better by saying it should be enough and if it doesn’t work it was probably a bad egg in which case nothing would work

@BiscuitLover3678 Peak means you're likely to ovulate within 12-36 hours but typically you'd ovulate the day after getting a peak reading. We DTD the day of the peak reading and the day after to cover that window of opportunity. If you do it 2 days after peak you're likely to have missed it x

Not saying it's not worth DTD at all two days after peak, but if you're prioritising days I'd definitely go for peak day and the day after.

Ok perfect, so I can take the starflower oil until I get my static smiley, as yes I’m using the purple clear blue OPK.
thanks for clearing it up, I wasn’t sure.

@BiscuitLover3678 don’t put too much pressure on yourself, you can end up getting caught up in all of this, do it whenever you can and try to cover the days leading upto and including the static smiley, remember sperm can stay alive upto 5 days!

@BiscuitLover3678 It's hard (or not hard perhaps more to the point 🤣) for men performing on cue. Hopefully tonight without the time constraints of having to get up for work you can relax and enjoy it and he won't feel so pressured.

Also hard when your white fluffy female cat pops her head round the curtain and sits staring at you 😂😂😂 👀 x

@NSx I'm not sure as last time I took it all month and didn't know I was supposed to stop! I still got pregnant so I think it's not a problem if you were to take it 1 or 2 days more than you should, static smiley sounds like a good time to stop to me.

Thank you :) I know, I think if it was negative I'd have been so confused because Ive got insane symptoms. I nearly threw up at the smell of bacon yesterday.

I'm only 13dpo which is mad how early I'm feeling nauseous!
