Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me joining this thread. I'm on CD4 and 2nd cycle TTC. I already have a 5 year old daughter with my ex and this will be first child with my partner. I came off the pill a month ago and just had 1st proper AF since stopping. At least now I know my cycle has kicked back in and I can estimate when I should ovulate this month. I just ordered some OPK from Amazon yesterday so planning to use these this month to be sure. Trying to stay relaxed about it but so easy to get obsessed :-) think joining this thread will help keep me sane and help during the tww when it comes. Right now it seems so far away!

@EdinburghGirl1 It's good your period arrived at a normal time, it can all go a bit haywire after coming off the pill. It's so easy to get obsessed, I've found OPKing and temping so addictive haha. Good luck for this month!

@cavebaby yes so glad it came back quickly. It did last time too so I was hopeful. Thanks very much. I’m a bit of a control freak so using the OPKs suit me lol. Actually, the first time I used them last time was the month I conceived my daughter which was 4th cycle so worth a shot

Moving over properly from March as spotting started today so AF will no doubt be here first thing tomorrow. Cycle god knows how many? 11? We were lazy the last two cycles as we’re waiting to find out what happened with a new job, so this cycle we will be going for it properly again. Need to get some clear blue OPKs as last few cycles have been all over the place after chemicals in March and May.

@Charl881 amazon prime had CB OPK reduced to £25.99 for 50. Not sure if the offer is still on.

CD6 today. My CB OPK turned up today, think maybe I’ll start them tomorrow? I usually do OPK CD7 as my FW is usually from CD 9. I expect to ovulate Next Wednesday or Thursday. Does this sound a sensible time to start CLear blue tests?

@NSx the offer is finished for the clear blue OPK I just looked. Must have been an Amazon prime day offer. And I meant 20 not 50, sorry that was post work rambling. Think it’s back up to £35

@Mummyme87 ah ok, I was like 50 OPK that’s amazing 😂😂 I have 3 packs of the other ones, I find myself stocking up on eBay - can normally get a pack of 10 for about £13

My LH line is getting a little darker and my app says I'm on day 2 of my fertile window. Woohoo! I much prefer this phase when I can "do something".

We were just about to DTD last night at 1am when DS woke up in the next room asking for water. He then took another hour to settle. Never had this hurdle when TTC number one!
