Been looking for a friendly chat to join and you all seems lovely :) TTC number 2, I forget how nervous the whole TTC thing makes me, and my gosh the 2 week wait is the longest 2 weeks ever!

I am on my second cycle so super new to this forum and TTC but absolutely hoping that this will be our month and we will have an April baby!

I was certain last month that I would get my BFP but the boyfriend is more level headed and said he knew we would take some time.

Looking through so many topics and chats to get some inspiration and support from ladies doing this at the same time! 😀X

Hoping for a BFP this month. Cycle 5 ttc after losing our baby at 12 weeks in January. Also have three other children, so hoping for a 4th.

I’m going to go back to OPKs and start to test really strictly first thing each morning. I think I might ovulate early as my periods seem to be shorter these days. They’re so expensive though!

This must be so tough to be back here again. How can we best support you? I'm so grateful for the lovely people on here, I can't talk to many of my family and friends in real life but here it feels very safe to say anything. I hope it feels the same for you.

@BiscuitLover3678 im definitely going back to OPKs next cycle too. We’ve not been able to DTD much this fertile period and I would at least rather know we’re hitting the best days. This cycle of playing it cool and not tracking has not worked as I’m just obsessing over the days we weren’t able to DTD.

@NSx so sorry to hear of your loss.

Me too and after talking to a friend I wonder if I need to start doing them much earlier on in my cycle. We can do this 💪

@NSx so sorry to hear of your loss, I also had a loss at 17 weeks at the start of April so just on my second cycle trying now. Hopefully it won't be too long for either of us ❤️

Hi everyone, I've been loitering around for a few weeks, as I've been scouring posts for tips (and hope) on TTC.

I'm 39, and would absolutely love to fall pregnant before I hit 40 in December (it would be our 1st baby).

AF is due on Friday, then I'll be on cycle 6 (tested this morning but it was a BFN).

For the few months I was just using the Flo app, which I now know was WAY out for my ovulation days... and been using OPKs for the last 3 cycles.

Taking pre-natal pregnancare vitamins.

Any other tips or suggestions... I'd be super grateful 🥲

Is anyone taking any supplements? I'm taking starflower oil which I'm sure is the only reason I even ovulated last cycle, but I only started taking it day 14 and didn't ovulate until day 18 so starting from day 1 this cycle!

Took out my implant at the beginning of June. Had a period 2 weeks later. Have been using OPKs and know I ovulated 2 days ago.
We’ve been doing SMEP so need to DTD today and in 2 days time and then wait to test mid July.

thanks so much for your warm words and for welcoming me in.
it took me a while to be able to openly talk about my loss, but I think sometimes it helps to speak up.
this will be my first proper cycle ttc, and as much as falling pregnant wouldn’t fill the void that my girl left it would defo help me heal. So here’s hoping 🤞 fingers crossed for us all this month.
I will be using OPK’s again, as I found this is what helped me conceive the first time round, the clear blue ones are expensive but I do find them the best & very clear.
I started using an app to try and track the strips but the strips themselves confuse me. X x

@calipoppy I’m so sorry you’re going through what I am, it’s hard when you get that far along, it broke me but the hope of another baby keeps me going!

AF arrived today... 4 days early. Dunno what the heck is going on with my cycles but I was told coming off the pill can send ur cycles abut crazy. This will be cycle 3 of trying for baby no 3 for me but it will be my partners first. Im 34 and he's 44. I'm going to hang around this thread if thats ok with you ladies :) its nice to meet u all !

I am 31 and just starting to try for #2. I have crazy irregular and long cycles, so always thought ttc would be a struggle. My DS was a happy accident so this is my first time actively ttc.

I've just started taking a few supplements that I have read can hopefully help regulate/shorten my cycle. Currently on CD 63 🙄. So fingers crossed they do something!! I'll give it a few months and head to the Dr if nothing helps!

Hi @Dogmum13. Just to give some hope. My BF has endo. Was told at 21 she would struggle. She's 31 now and just had her 4th with no medical intervention!

@Irishgirl55 thank you. I have had a scan done and my consultant said everything looks healthy so 🤞 Also had bloods done to check for ovulation and they were all good too plus I get ovulation pains every cycle

Has anyone taken pregnacare conception multivitamins? I've just got them today and it says on the box that a change in the monthly cycle has been noted in some women while taking it. Bit worried about taking it now incase it messes up my cycle!

I take them Cinderella 😊 they haven’t changed much for me, for what it’s worth.
