I’m on CD6. Starting SMEP for the first time in 2 days. Anyone else? Let’s encourage and support each other. 😀

im on CD 8 right now. Will try and DTD tonight but maybe not as did it yesterday. Definately tomorrow. My LH is still quite low at the moment. Hoping to see a rise around CD 11/12 👌

I realised I’m actually CD8 so only one day behind you.

I will be if this cycle doesn’t pan out (due on period in 1 week, next ovulation predicated to be around the 20th)

@Baby3herewego heyyy! Not last night. Currently waiting for Hubby to get back in so I can pounce on him before I’m off out for the rest of the day! I’m on CD10 and not having any signs of an LH rise yet????? Going to try and do it every other day as SMEP advises and hope I see/don’t miss a rise. Are you tracking Ovulation? I genuinely think I have been missing my ovulation so feeling positive this month.

@Baby3herewego Managed to DTD between about 10.30 to 11.15. Rest day and then back in the saddle on Monday ha!

I am going to test my OPK this evening.

I will be doing SMEP in a week or so.... waiting for AF now which I know will come early next week. X

This is our first month trying smep(third cycle TTC), not going to lie it's been tiring, especially for someone who has a low drive 😭 👀
Cd21 today, hit my peak last night so currently at the part of the plan where we BD 3 days in a row......fingers crossed it works

I’m not tracking. Just trying to get in as much as possible ( hubs is very happy about that ) so might end up being daily sometimes instead of every other day.

If it doesn’t work out this time then I’ll track for next cycle.

@Baby3herewego absolutely, its been nice in the sense it gives you a routine & you don't have to worry about DTD on the right days etc as it's mapped out. I'm also trying for number 3 with 2 girls-13 and 6 must be mad 🤣 will be my partners first though x

@Clairey3010 it definitely does give some routine. I felt a bit mad at first with mine being 12 and 10 but I know they will be over the moon. They both love little ones.

@Baby3herewego which cycle are you on now? See my 6 year will be so excited but my 13 year old will be quite uninterested I think, at that hormonal teen stage🙈

@Clairey3010 CD 9 today. First month trying. Our other two happened on our first month trying so fingers crossed the same happens this time.

Hi everyone, How’s it going?

Managed every other day so far. No peak yet but going to start to DTD every day now.

My periods are regular so I’m sure my peak will come. Just not sure if I’m drinking too much and giving myself weak results.

@Blessedmummytobe CD 11 today and have very copious amounts of wet CM. Tmi but it’s actually dripping ( thought I’d pee’d myself 😂) we’ve BD’d every day so far!

4dpo today, we missed the last bd of smep but hoping all the bd before it was enough! Only thing I've noticed different this cycle is my boobs aren't sore🤔 usually they are from ov until af, no idea why

I keep getting nausea in the morning and afternoon too but no sore boobs as usual around mid cycle.

I am very new to this, but is looks like we are in the same position (same day of cycle, still having negative ovulation strips!). It's really nice to have someone who is in the same boat!

I came off the pill 3 months ago and my cycle is still a bit all over the place (26, 27 then 31 days), so finding things difficult to predict as it is my first month trying.

Me! I'm on CD11 of the 4th cycle trying. I kind of accidentally started doing SMEP because on the first cycle I had a CP and we DTD just twice and not again on ovulation, so I proved to myself that I can get pregnant.

I have a 33-35 day cycle, so I'll be tracking my LH levels and DTD every other day from CD14, ie this coming Saturday. My follicular phase varies between 13 and 16 days, so I could get LH surge anywhere from CD18 to CD 21. Very annoying. Though my luteal phase is consistently 14 days. I use OPKs and I temp.

We'll be doing CD14, CD16, CD18, CD20, CD22. If I ovulate on CD19, then we'll also DTD on CD18 and CD19 back to back, if I ovulate on CD20, then we'll DTD on CD19 and CD20 back to back and so on and so on.

CD13 for me today. DTD every day since CD5 except CD8 and 10 as I thought they were safe rest days given i expect to ovulate between CD14-17. I’m a bit on edge though as I seem to not be getting a surge. The highest I had was on CD10 at .51. I’m starting to think I have a bad batch of OPKS as the control line isn’t even getting that dark either (pics attached). So now I’m still testing but not really following that.

How can I tell the difference between EWCM and arousal fluid.

Checked today before I DTD and there was quite a bit of clear stretchy EW consistency discharge but not sure if it was CM or I was turned on lol.

Also I keep have weird bouts of nausea. In the morning when I wake up and evenings like now….

Ahhh who said being a woman was easy eh.

BTW how old is everyone? I’m 37.

@Blessedmummytobe I tend to think if it’s there for a few hours and your not thinking dirty thoughts then it’s probably EWCM 😂

If you think you could OV up till CD17 then I’d say there is still time for a peek to pop up. Just keep DTD and fingers crossed.
