Hi everyone,

I thought I would make a thread for those who are trying to conceive their first child.

I love reading about everyone's journey, but sometimes I just need a space where I can talk to others who are dreaming of their first bundle of joy 💫

I am 31 and on cycle #8. My periods were classed as irregular but since having the coil removed, they seem to have settled and I now have 30-33 day cycles. I threw my OPKs in the bin this month, they were stressing me out and after DTD on my peaks but getting AF's just upset me even more. I am hoping to take a more relaxed approach from now on.

12DPO and a BFN so I'm out. That cramping must be AF on her way.
I used an FRER as well this morning so pretty definite. Thought I could see a shadow but just hopeful line eyes I think

Had another weird dream about my dad crashing a car. He's been dead for 5 years 🤔

@itsnearlymytime possibly, but Ive read the later it implants, the less likely it is to stick 😔

@Gizzy93 I am 12dpo today (according to one of my apps) and I had a BFN too

@newbiegreenfingers It went well. I have bulky ovaries. PCOS was mentioned as the cause but I have been tested twice for that. Fallopian tubes, uterus and lining all seemed in good health 😊

I think I'm going crazy. I did an FRER and I think I see something? Can anyone else see it or am I just being stupid?

So it was a strange cycle of emotions when AF arrived this week. We aren't going out of our way to track at the moment as we are quite relaxed about when it happens but I still felt disappointed.

Does anyone in this group have endometriosis? Since having my coil removed my symptoms have rocketed. I last had a laparoscopy in 2019 and over the last 6 months had noticed symptoms returning but this has got soooo much worse since having the coil removed. How long would you wait before seeing a GP? I don't want them to say well it's your own fault for coming off of the coil (main reason for having it fitted was my endo) but at the same point I'm not sure how much I can take of these symptoms despite seeing the bigger end goal of TTC.

I’ve been feeling very negative this cycle, feeling that it will probably take a very long time for us to conceive. But today I got a little glimmer of hope in my gut. Maybe maybe it’s our month 🤞I think I’m very close to ovulation, expecting a positive test tomorrow or the day after.

I don’t have endometriosis, and I get that you don’t want to see your GP. But I think you should make an appointment. You’re not the first who has endometriosis and ttc, there has to be something they can do for you

Hi everyone. Can I join please? I'm in my tww on cycle #2(possibly #3 but I think we decided to start trying too late that first month). Nearly 32. Have been worrying myself silly over it after they found a small (maybe) polyp in my womb - made me think we better start trying sooner rather than later as it was a bit of a scare. Haven't tried tracking ovulation yet.

I did have very sore breasts but that just stopped yesterday 🤷 Have had nausea, sneezing, sore gums, bloating but not convinced as started getting af like cramps today. Dp is away my entire ovulation window next month - not his fault in the slightest but I feel really down about it :(

@flowerexpress Hi and welcome, im 32 myself been ttc about 8mnths give or take. I am a bit worried i may have pcos or other issues that can impact on fertility so getting this checked...i get your worries and its easy to say not to worry, but try and give yourselves time as u have just started this journey...i have a cousin who has polyps but had a daughter age 33 she didnt know at first but managed to have her child...i dnt know much about polyps though to be fair...i wish u all the best hopefully those signs are positive for bfp

Please can I join? Cycle 7. TTC 1. I’m 33, nearly 34. Got pregnant first cycle but it didn’t stick and since then nothing.

update - got a BFP today! have had (and still have) hard, extremely bloated abdomen, felt emotional and v slightly nauseous
