Hi everyone,

I thought I would make a thread for those who are trying to conceive their first child.

I love reading about everyone's journey, but sometimes I just need a space where I can talk to others who are dreaming of their first bundle of joy 💫

I am 31 and on cycle #8. My periods were classed as irregular but since having the coil removed, they seem to have settled and I now have 30-33 day cycles. I threw my OPKs in the bin this month, they were stressing me out and after DTD on my peaks but getting AF's just upset me even more. I am hoping to take a more relaxed approach from now on.

@ChloeN if ovulation is pushed back then your period will be. Your luteal phase is generally the same length each cycle, give or take a day

hi there i hope its ok for me to join. im 32 got married last summer and been hoping to conceive 1st child this year.. today im 7dpo and being silly did a test which ofcourse was a bfn.. ive also just ordered a fresh pack of cheapies😏

@Gizzy93 sorry to hear about the dream, I have been having vivid dreams since we started to ttc. When is AF due? It is really hard to not symptom spot, but it sounds like you are having similar symptoms to your CP. Fingers crossed for you 😊

@SFrancis1 thank you 😊 trying not to get my hopes up though. I've had vivid dreams ever since I can remember. I hate the waiting game 😂

@SFrancis1 not sure 6/7, i became more conscious of ny cycle and trying to dtd during my window around jan this year but we were never on contraception since getting married last Aug...thanks for the welcome.

@Gizzy93 Its a horribble time having to wait and being so conscious of every little sensation hoping its a sign of preg but nevermind we will get through it. What dpo are you now?

@carsty it is really tough! Yes it is nearly our time and we will be pregnant very soon (manifesting) also writing down every day that "I am pregnant" 🙈

@carsty either 9 or 11. FF says 11, but with my temp rise, it could be 9 lol

today i have started to cramp, pms like and feel a bit sick sigh my af is in 7 days but i usually pms before but im still hopeful by Gods grace😊

@carsty you're not out until AF shows! I've read loads of women think they're pg symptoms are just pms because they're so similar. Fingers crossed for you!

@Gizzy93 Thanks, thats right until AF shows im still in hopefully...this might be tmi but i keep feeling like im leeking down there lol, has anyone ever felt that before when af not yet due? Hows everyone else getting on?

What’s your take on this? I hope it’s okay that I post pictures.
I’m CD 11, I usually ovulate around CD16. This is definitely EWCM but it has a pinkish tone to it, ovulation test this morning was negative. For how many days can you have EWCM?

@Loouloo i get this too, normally 2 days like that and then another 2 days of really clear and stretchy so I presume that’s normal!

hello, 12dpo now, extremely sore abdomen (I have endometriosis) and been vv bloated for days so feel like AF is on her way, tested yesterday and BFN, too scared to test again so going to wait to see if AF comes and go from there.
How likely is it that I could get a BFP when having what feels like period pains?!

also had v light pink discharge on sat and then some brown discharge today...implantation or preg WHO KNOWS!!

@LolaGarden I've heard lots of women saying it feels exactly like AF cramps.

11DPO today and BFN. I think I'm out thus cycle

Thanks @Gizzy93 !! And you’re not out until AF appears, I’ve heard so many stories of people getting BFN on FRER for ages and then being BFP later on. You could’ve only just implanted. Good luck x

I had the weirdest dream last night. So many weird and random things happened and none of it made sense. I did two pregnancy tests and they were both positive and i was trying to find another FRER to do to confirm, then I woke up at 3am and I was cramping, and I thought I really need to wear a liner today because I think I'm going to bleed.
Of course I forgot to put a liner on and I remembered when I felt like what was blood later on, but it's just a lot of watery cm

@LolaGarden hi im similar around 10/11 dpo tested yesterday bfn but been having af like cramping so think i may be out this month...af due this weekend.

@Gizzy93 ooh that cm may be a positive sign fingers crossed....i also felt last night i needed to put something on incase i bleed and i did but nothing yet...still few days early for AF but anything can happen and im currently cramping.
