@YellowLoafers thinking of you today!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

@pcmod so sorry AF got you 😕 but super happy for the positives. Just keep swimming right?! 😏😘

@Iusedtobedontcall eurgh!! It’s such a nightmare when your cycles change! I used to be clockwork but the IVF last year seems to have messed it up quite a lot (or maybe it’s perimenopause 😐😐) it’s sooo confusing!!! Sending love xxxxx

Im on the pill cycle now and start Synarell in a week. 6 weeks until the transfer date (hopefully!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼) It’s all starting to seem real now 🫣🫣😳😳😝😝

Hello 👋 All

I was just wondering if I could ask how old everyone is who is active on this thread?
As an update and where you currently are in your TTC..
Me: 44 , TTC number 2.
Have been trying for over 12 months now...
IVF not an option.

pcmod · 23/04/2023 15:54

@Kelb79 Wow that is exciting (and I imagine a bit scary) possibly transferring in 6 weeks. Keeping everything crossed for you that it goes smoothly and you have some happy news soon.

@lemontrees22 Snap, I’m also 44 and just got one little one at home who is 3. We’ve been trying on and off for about 18 months. But had some losses and some time out during that time. Would say this is my third month of been back on it properly. Haven’t completely ruled out IVF but would struggle to find the cash I think.

But think I’m coming to terms to leaving it the hands of fate. It would be great if we do have another, but if not got plenty of other things in my life to focus on and enjoy. Trying to not let ttc result in me missing out on what I already have with my little family. It’s hard though, can become all consuming at times!

Hi, hope it's ok to join this thread.
I am 43, with a 1 year old little boy, started TTC this month after having my coil removed. It took 3 cycles to fall pregnant the first time. Whilst I would love another baby, I am prepared that it may not happen for me.

Hi everyone! - only read on if you feel in the right space to hear a pregnancy test result.

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and sending support, really appreciate it. So, I tested this morning and it was positive! I’m still not quite sure I believe it, even though I did 3 tests 🙈 Still got to do the official clinic test tomorrow and call them to see what next steps are. I’ve kept the tests and keep looking at them, it’s just surreal after so long. I know it’s early days, but I’m pregnant, which is something I was beginning to doubt I’d be able to say so just enjoying it for now ❤️

@lemontrees22 and @JaffaCake123 Welcome 👋 This is a great group and you’ll get lots of support. I’m 42. TTC number one via IVF due to “unexplained infertility”.

Hi @lemontrees22 and @JaffaCake123 I would also like to join you. I’m 42. Got one boy aged 20 months who is a dream. He was conceived first go after implant out.

Got implant out this time in January. Cycle been a bit weird. Tracking BBT and OPK but no luck yet. Naively thought would be quick again. PDG test all good. Got the dreaded AMH next week.

If we do IVF, I may skip straight to donor eggs depending on AMH results.

Conrats @YellowLoafers ☺️

Oh my word @YellowLoafers that is the most amazing news. 🎉♥️🎉
I’m so happy for you, must have been such a tough wait. So glad you’ve got the right result. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.
Appreciate what you’re saying about it been early days, but still very wonderful news. Did you have the PGA testing? Surely that will help in making sure it all progresses well. Good luck with the clinic tomorrow. Guess you’ll have to wait a couple of weeks before you can have a scan. I’m so totally chuffed that your little hatcher has burrowed nicely in.

@JaffaCake123 welcome to the gang. Wise to be pragmatic but sounds really positive you had a successful pregnancy only a couple of years ago. Fingers crossed it goes as smoothly second time round for you.

@Noodles4Me welcome to the group. Sorry you’re having a frustrating start. Have heard it can take a while for your body to adjust after the implant, but really frustrating when it’s worked fine before. Great you’re organised and getting everything looked into. Good luck with the AMH next week. Are you getting tested or finding out the results?

Hi @lemontrees22 @JaffaCake123 @Noodles4Me welcome, i am 44 as well, been ttc for 5 years now I think (lost count!) I have two teens from a previous relationship and so does my partner but none together just one mc 6 years ago that sparked the ttc journey. I have adenomyosis and suspected endometriosis but waiting a referal back to gynaecology again and looking into de ivf.

@YellowLoafers congratulations!! So pleased for you, 🤞🏻for a sticky bean

i want to start my savings pot for de ivf abroad, I have been trying to look at different clinics but it’s a bit of a minefield! Would really appreciate anyone sharing any info about the clinics they have looked into/been with and costs please? I figure if I start saving that gives me a date to finish my ttc naturally and move on to the de or I can see myself just plodding along until the big ‘M’ happens and I have no choice! Lol

@YellowLoafers congratulations! That's such lovely news!

Welcome @Noodles4Me @JaffaCake123 and @lemontrees22

All the best for this TWW @TraceyTarotReader

@pcmod sorry last month didn't work out for you. Rooting for this to be your month. Your outlook seems very sensible and a lot like mine.

@lemontrees22 I'm now 43 (44 next March) and have one 15 month little girl, conceived naturally after a year of actively trying. We've been trying for our second for the last 5 months with nothing, but AF was due yesterday and I'm pleased to say I had a faint positive on a cheapie stick! Still faint today but a little stronger than yesterday so I'm hopeful it will continue progressing in the right direction! Such early days though and I had a chemical before conceiving my daughter so will just have to wait and see...

Oooooooooo yaaayyyy!!! Tentative but MASSIVE congratulations to @YellowLoafers and @Littlemiss42andfabulous ❤️❤️❤️ great news!!! Sending sticky prayers your way!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

@Marvellouslymadmum im with IVF Spain in Alicante - chose them due to their high success rates and positive reviews as well as having a regular flight to Alicante from my local airport so travelling was cheap and easy (actually easier than going to a clinic in this country as im in Cornwall!) They’re not the cheapest but I’ve been really happy with them and their DE packages are good if you go down that route.

Times gone on a go slow this week 🫣 im
on the pill cycle just waiting for the next step which is a couple of weeks away still so it’s dragging!!! 😫😫😫

Hi ladies,
Have just turned 43 in March and trying for the second for 2,5 years now. No lines at all through all this time 😟..feeling deeply upset and it affects me in that way that I can’t deal with pregnant women companies.. not everyone understands but this hit me badly.

Thank you for your congratulations ladies, I feel so lucky to be part of such a fabulous group ❤️ I spoke to clinic yesterday and have viability scan booked for 18th May. So I’ve gone from one 2WW straight into a 3WW 🙈

@Noodles4Me good luck with AMH result. It’s a nerve wracking time. I’ve heard it takes a while for cycle to settle after implant. Fingers crossed cycle weirdness is just down to that and you’ll be on track again soon.

@pcmod sorry AF turned up, fingers crossed going forward into this month. We did go for PGTA testing yes, so hopefully we’ve maximised our chances, but appreciate it’s super early days and anything can happen 🤞

@TraceyTarotReader good luck in this 2WW x

@Littlemiss42andfabulous Fantastic news! Everything crossed for you ❤️

@Kelb79 This IVF lark is just a long process of waiting isn’t it?! As soon as one milestone hits, you’re back to waiting for the next one! I’m really excited for you and it’s great that you’re on your way

See you guys in the new thread! Thanks @October1979 x
