@October1979 how are you feeling lovely? When is your next scan? Always praying for your little gang 😍😍😍

@99pctpractice any symptoms? What day are you on? Praying hard for ya!! ❤️🙏🏼

@Marvellouslymadmum have you chosen a clinic and got an appointment booked? Sorry, I’ve lost track of where you’re at! 🫣 if you have any questions on any of it make sure they get answered, or ask us! Clinics will push on with their own ideas even when they’re not right at times, just be sure of what is happening and what you want along the way and make sure your clinic is listening to you 👌🏼❤️ That’s my biggest advice for this route!!

@TraceyTarotReader i hate the TWW!!! I have not missed it at all during the IVF treatment 🫣🫣 really hope you get an answer (especially THE answer!!) soon 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

we’re pretty much decided on the DE route. We just need to say the words out loud. It’s been so hard to come to terms with it all but I’m starting to feel excited about the possibilities. We have a lot of people that know every step of our journey and they’ve all been so positive and supportive that it’s made it much easier ❤️❤️

99pctpractice · 03/11/2022 11:25

@Marvellouslymadmum yes, I'd heard about it on a podcast with someone in the us who had done it, but maybe it's less usual in the uk. I think the consultant thought I was suggesting that we just mix together all the embryos and then put one back without knowing whose egg it was - which I wasn't, but I can understand why she might have been a bit more hesitant about it on that basis!

99pctpractice · 03/11/2022 11:27

@Kelb79 genuinely this is the longest 2ww I've experienced - still only 5days since transfer!!! Probably going to test early this time because I'm so impatient 🤣🤣🤣

99pctpractice · 03/11/2022 11:32

@Kelb79 sorry sent too soon. Also wanted to say very excited for you to move onto the next stage. I know it's a difficult decision to make and for me it has felt like there are new considerations and feelings to deal with at each stage, so I'm looking forward to getting some counselling, which I've scheduled for next week. Will you stay with the Spanish clinic?

Marvellouslymadmum · 03/11/2022 11:43

@Kelb79 no not yet, I've looked at a couple of clinics online but it's all so baffling! And impossible to know what they're actually like too!
That's really good you've had alot if support! So many times I've nearly told people about it but something holds me back 🤨

@99pctpractice haha a bit like an egg lottery, actually sounds similar to what they do with same sex male partners when they mix the sperm of them both and no one knows which is the actual daddy! Yes I think maybe it's not a practice that's done in the uk, I'll have to check the clinics I'm looking at to make sure they all do it.

@TraceyTarotReader I've had many cycles like this, particularly when I was on clomid. Longest was 105 days I think, I got to the stage where I just carried on with like and dtd whenever we wanted 🤷🏼‍♀️ I couldn't keep testing and getting that blank space, hopefully you'll get an answer one way or another soon

Kelb79 · 03/11/2022 11:44

@99pctpractice only 5 days?? Gawd! Even I felt like it had been longer than that 🤣🤣 I’m in it with you 🤪🤣
yeah I think we’ll stay with the same clinic, they know me, I know them, I trust them. And the little getaways to Spain are nice 😁😁
just need to press the Go button 🫣🫣

October1979 · 04/11/2022 06:31

Hi everyone. My we gang are all measuring 10weeks 3 days so for now all looking good. But did have some really sobering stats about complications. But so far all looking good xx

OP posts:
99pctpractice · 04/11/2022 14:17

Aaah @October1979 that's great news. Do they each have their own placentas? There can be complications but there are also lots of people who do have 3 completely healthy babies. All fingers crossed it continues smoothly - are you showing already given that there are 3 in there?!?

Marvellouslymadmum · 04/11/2022 16:20

@October1979 that's wonderful news!! Let's hope those complications stay away for you!! Xx

Kelb79 · 05/11/2022 12:45

@October1979 😍😍😍😍 I love this so much!! Try not to get too caught up in the possible complications ❤️❤️❤️

@99pctpractice any symptoms??? 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

99pctpractice · 05/11/2022 13:55

Hi @Kelb79 tender boobs but I think that's the progesterone. Feeling very uncertain about it all - my Feb natural pregnancy I guessed before I tested because of the sore boobs but didn't have any other symptoms so I don't have much to go on! It's 7 days post-transfer today and i have some tests arriving later so I'm probably going to test tomorrow, unless I'm strong enough to hold out to Monday...

October1979 · 05/11/2022 14:01

@99pctpractice I tested 4 days after 5 day transfer. Sore boobs were my first sign. Fingers crossed for you. The twins share a placenta and a sac but the singleton has there own. Yes starting to show. But just looking fat to be honest.
@Marvellouslymadmum @Kelb79 thanks for all the support and kind words xxx

99pctpractice · 05/11/2022 17:36

(Showed my oh and he asked if it was a covid test 🤦‍♀️ I think we have a very different experience of infertility!)

October1979 · 05/11/2022 18:00

@99pctpractice congratulations 🎉 that's a strong line! Keeping everything crossed things go well. When's your official test date xx

OP posts:
99pctpractice · 05/11/2022 18:29

@October1979 Thursday, and they'll do a blood test so at least I'll get some indication of whether it's likely to be a chemical. Hoping that it isn't!!

monsteramunch · 05/11/2022 18:37

Oh wow @99pctpractice amazing news! Flowers

October1979 · 05/11/2022 18:38

@99pctpractice keeping everything crossed for you but you are over the first hurdle. It's very unlikely to be a chemical with younger eggs. Good Luck. Did you do your transfer in the uk? xxx

OP posts:
99pctpractice · 05/11/2022 18:46

@October1979 yes, in the uk. We went with the london egg bank / womens clinic in the end. And also, you were right, the excitement of a positive test does put a lot of the things I was worrying about about using a donor egg into perspective. Xx

October1979 · 05/11/2022 18:51

@99pctpractice, since my positive the donor thing hasn't even crossed my mind. I just feel so grateful to be in this position after all the heartache xxx

OP posts:
October1979 · 05/11/2022 18:52

@99pctpractice I'm delighted for you congratulations 😘

OP posts:
Marvellouslymadmum · 05/11/2022 21:07

@TraceyTarotReader sorry you're out this month

@99pctpractice oooh yay so happy for you! I'm loving the positives from the donor eggs, it gives me so much hope that no matter what with my eggs it may happen for us at some point with de!!

On another note - I've got some strong ovulations signs this month 🎉🥳 then earlier had a big painful twinge on the left side so thought ahh is a left egg this time then had a slightly smaller twinge on the right later on! So now I'm Confused, anyone have any clues on this?
