So it's that time again. Flying out to Prague today for 2 embryo transfer tomorrow. Getting nervous. We decided I would go alone as my flights on their own were £1000. I'm having to take two flights there and two flights home. Trying to save as much as we can just in case we need to go again. Keep your fingers crossed for me girls xx

im starting stims again on Tuesday, no miracle pregnancy here! Had the biopsy this week - f’ing ouch!!!!! So just waiting on results from that and AF so that I can definitely start the cycle. Meh!
I’ve got no joy or excitement in any of it anymore. Me and OH are arguing continually, it’s all just got so on top of us 😞 I’m done with it tbh!

good luck @October1979 !! we're all rooting for you. my 4th ivf cycle didn't work out. so we're now looking into donor eggs as well... it's so hard to navigate the practical side of things (which clinic, what characteristics do we think we would like etc.) let alone the emotional side of things. did you get any counselling (other than the mandatory session)? I think i might need some. did you speak with any london clinics? or did you go straight for overseas?

@kelb79 we're all still waiting on that miracle pregnancy...! hope you can start on tues and that af shows up soon!! what did you have a biopsy for!? did you have to travel to spain for it? we're giving up on own eggs for the same reason - me and my oh just kept arguing and it was just so stressful going through the embryo roulette process again, by day 3 i knew that things weren't looking good even when they put the embryos back.... i hope egg donor will be less stressful because at least it won't be my fault anymore (!)

@99pctpractice no additional counselling I just knew this was my route. I felt I had given enough time and if it was going to happen for me it would have. Also went straight to abroad. Spain and Prague were the only consultation I had. I just had a good feeling with Prague. London would have been just as tricky for travel for me. I also felt the anonymous donor route was better for me right now. Transfer at 12:30. Send me positive vibes xx

Hi can I join please. Am 42 in second cycle ttc and feeling deflated. Not taking any supplements. I struggle with poor mental health at times and wonder whether I can handle this ttc journey. The TWW is evil.

Welcome @Zandasstar7 😊 The TWW is indeed evil, I’m there right now so feel your pain. Given you say you struggle with mental health at times, are there plans you put in place to try and help
you through it? x

I guess there should be but I just kind of get through it. I try to keep busy but am a stay at home mum which is why I prob have too much time on my hands to think.
I think next month I will try to keep busy. When is your af due? Do you have any symptoms ?
I have none and due my af Friday x

@Zandasstar7 Thinking is the enemy that’s for sure! Keeping busy is a good shout but don’t overburden yourself as it’s a vulnerable time. Have you got friends you can talk to about your journey? TTC is a lonely path which really doesn’t help mental health! I’m 7dpo and have a short luteal phase so AF usually comes around 9dpo. Cramping from 6-7dpo. Cramps are here so I know I’m out this month 🙄

We have been trying to keep our journey a secret as if people know I’m ttc I feel pressure.
my cramps have started today today too so I’m out. I’m sure I will start spotting tomorrow xx

@99pctpractice sending love chick ❤️❤️ It’s such a hard decision to make, I’m well aware how close that one is for me 😵‍💫 me and OH have managed to (momentarily) find some balance but I’m not sure how long it will last, this journey SUCKS!!!!

@Zandasstar7 welcome to the best group that nobody wants to be in ❤️❤️❤️ TTC is a horrible journey - do everything you can to take care of your mental health and defo get some supplements going to help with it all. CoQ10, selenium and a pregnancy complex such as Pregnacare are good 👍🏼 we’re here for you 🙏🏼

sooooo I’m stuck in the TWW+ limbo!!! 5 days late now which I never am but I guess the IVF has messed me up!! BFN at 14DPO so I’m not fooling myself I’m PG 🫤 it’s just sooo frustrating! I’ve had my basal scan and start stims again on day 1 but I can’t book flights or work cover or anything until AF kicks off 😐

@Kelb79 It was a bit of a journey. I had to get 2 flights out to prague. My first was delayed by 1 hour so I had less than an hour to get off plane, through passport control and security and to my next flight. It was stressful and just made it! Although all went well in prague. I had 2 frozen embryos transferred. Although they have said it is very unlikely to result in twins. Apparently FETs rarely do. Only one tends to take? Have any of you heard this? Anyway. I'd be happy with anything. They did say that it can take 3/4 transfers. They said women who have had children or previously went through IVF tend to take faster. That it can take a while for the body to adapt to the ivf. I hope this is not true. I really don't want to do a third round. Fingers crossed xxx

@October1979 I hadn't heard that about FET. If there's no difference in probability between a fresh transfer and a FET (which people keep telling me is the case as long as they survive the defrost), then I'm not sure how there wouldn't be a possibility of twins?!? Would you feel ok about it? Remembering your lost twin babies and sending big hugs. All fingers crossed that this is the transfer for you and you don't need a third or fourth!!!!

@Kelb79 my cycle was all screwed up after ivf. My first cycle was 40 days or something ridiculous. It took a couple of months to get back to normal, then I did my next cycle so expecting it to be super long this time too!!! Fingers crossed yours arrives soon so you can start stimming!

@99pctpractice its sooo annoying! My last cycle was bang on time! This is the second! And if it doesn’t come soon I’ll have to wait another cycle as the lab in Spain is closing for holidays due a bit in October! 😐

@Kelb79 official test date 2 weeks after transfer 26/9. Although everything I see in Google has people getting positives 5dp5dt

Not going to lie. I'm a pee on a stick addict. 4dp5dt today. Peed on the stick and I'm sure I can see a vvf pink line.

It looks like an evap on photo but defo pink tinges in the flesh. I'm hoping this is the one girls

@October1979 i just wanted to wish you luck! I know the line on your Frer doesn’t have colour yet but I’ve never had a line like that that didn’t grow into a clear positive.
