CD1 here, starting a new thread for those who are hoping to get a BFP in May for a January/February baby 🥰

This is my cycle 3 trying for #2. I've got an 18mo old son.

@salia12345678910 how did your temp look this morning?

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing you're not doing anything wrong ❤ ttc just sucks. How long have you been trying now?

@elsbells98 welcome! I'm cd5 so we'll be close together this cycle. Good luck 🤞🤞🤞

@Hjudge56 sorry about the bfn. You're not out until af shows. It can be so frustrating when it feels you should be though. If it was 7dpo and 10dpo that's this time as it only doubles every 48 to 36 hours iirc? Hope you're okay

@Harriet669 hope you get that peak soon!

salia12345678910 · 21/04/2022 09:32

@LemonZestDribbles it's looking abit all over the place, it's risen back to the previous high temps, really unsure what yesterdays dip was! I checked bbt throughout the day yday and it was constantly low x

Hoping for BFP in May
LemonZestDribbles · 21/04/2022 10:44

@salia12345678910 maybe just a little off day for you or a blip ❤

Hjudge56 · 21/04/2022 10:48

@LemonZestDribbles thanks lovely! What do you mean with the doubling from 7dpo? Sorry I’m a bit lost with what you meant with 7dpo and 10DPO this time?

LemonZestDribbles · 21/04/2022 10:55

@LemonZestDribbles sorry I meant hcg levels if you've caught an egg so might still be too early for a positive test :)

Hjudge56 · 21/04/2022 11:25

@LemonZestDribbles ah okay! I thought it takes 2 days so if I had implanted at 7DPO I thought 10DPO would have definitely shown!

LemonZestDribbles · 21/04/2022 11:41

@Hjudge56 I'm of the view that you're still in until AF comes. Hopefully it doesn't especially with your 7dpo feelings of implantation. Our bodies can be really cruel

Morning everyone. Sorry to hear of the BFNs! I hope they change soon or AF arrives so it can be on to the next cycle <3

@Hjudge56 it may be that implantation started on 7dpo but didn't finish, so you got a bit of blood but it properly implanted by day 8 - and it can take a while for hcg to rise, it doubles every 48 hours approx so can take 4 or 5 days before a positive result - even on a FRER sometimes! My fingers are crossed for you.

@salia12345678910 sometimes a dip in BBT indicates implantation. Which dpo did it happen?

@elsbells98 and @LemonZestDribbles I am also CD 5 so hopefully we can all test around the same time... how long are your cycles normally?

Also that's cool you have a 19mo @LemonZestDribbles ! Yes perhaps we were on the same ttc and pregnancy boards haha. When is your baby's birthday?

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing I'm sorry you're feeling so fed up, can so totally understand that. We conceived our DD first cycle but since starting to try for no2 in Dec have had 2 early losses/chemicals :( very sad. I'm hoping it's just been a tough few months and the losses are due to being a bit run down. Part of me thinks I should press pause this cycle and start again next month but equally I don't know what the point in doing that would be really... just one less month where a bfp is possible!

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing not a fraud at all. We all want that bfp as much as if we have no kids or 9. 12 months is really rough. I can't even imagine. Could you try your gp? I know you've got kids but a year is a long time

@Skylark1990 @elsbells98 think my next af is due May 16th. Feels ages away 🤣

@Skylark1990 he was born at the end of September but I was in the Early October and October 2020 boards as he was early. For ttc I was in the Crazy Gang as we were indeed crazy. I've name changed since then though.

salia12345678910 · 21/04/2022 13:51

@Skylark1990 I was thinking that too but it was just 4dpo, from what I've read online implantation occurs atleast 6-7 days after? Feeling rather confused 😕

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing It's so hard, and 12 months is a long time - you are so entitled to be feeling sad. I have felt very sad too the last few days (started to miscarry on Sunday so all very fresh) and worrying it'll affect these special early years with my DD if I am constantly sad or worrying about TTC. But it's so natural so we can't beat ourselves up about it. I'm going to try to focus on doing things I enjoy for the next month or so, eating well & taking my vitamins... oh and cutting coffee haha. Do you have any inkling/gut instinct about what could be causing you to not conceive? Sometimes we can kind of 'know' even before the tests. I am going to ask for a full blood count test too I think, GP has been helpful and is giving me the various hormone tests as I've had two mc now, but think some others can be useful such as iron, vitamin d and b12.

@LemonZestDribbles aww lovely, I was on a due in Sep and due in Aug board as my baby was due end Aug/early Sep depending on my dates/scan dates. We shifted to FB quite early on though so didn't really keep the mumsnet ones going. How long have you been trying for no 2? Hope we both get bfps this month!

16 May also my next period due date... does feel like ages, I agree!

@salia12345678910 could you possibly have ovulated earlier than you thought? xx

Skylark1990 · 21/04/2022 15:23

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing I'm sorry if me asking about whether you have an inkling came across insensitive - I just realised maybe it would have! Of course it's natural to also have no idea, and like you say, feel like we are trying everything and ultimately it's just 'one of those things' - TTC seems to be completely random. I only asked because for me I feel like maybe it is to do with low progesterone as I'm still breastfeeding, or being rundown etc as I've had some health problems recently. But of course it's impossible to know. Glad both our GPs sound like they are being helpful with investigations! xx

Hjudge56 · 21/04/2022 15:48

Thank you SO much ladies for your kind words. You’ve honestly made me feel so much better and given me hope that I still have a chance! I was even thinking that yesterday I really had bad cramping on and off and very tender nipples so may be that implantation could have even happened yesterday! I know the blood 7DPO doesn’t add up if so but god knows what’s going on in our bodies !! 🤣

will keep you updated ❤️

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing it's positive that they've come back clear but it's understandable that knowing something was wrong would be easier than things just not happening. Still in with a chance until af though x

@Skylark1990 it's funny to think we were both around then and now! This will be my first month officially trying again. Wbu?

Seeing the end of af now 🥳🥳🥳
