Hoping for BFP in May

CD1 here, starting a new thread for those who are hoping to get a BFP in May for a January/February baby 🥰

This is my cycle 3 trying for #2. I've got an 18mo old son.

@Cherrymarket I'm just on edge now that my period is starting anyway almost wish I hadn't tested🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ need to wait it out until tomorrow and hope I don't start properly bleeding

@mummyofrb id say that was positive. It’s not possible to get a coloured line if there’s no hcg present!

@MissBlue93 hope you feel better soon, blummin covid! Good news on the ovulation though.

I am 5dpo today. I’ve had a few symptoms like last pregnancy but I am not reading into it and I am not going to test at 9dpo like last time. (I tell myself it’s more plastic into landfill in an attempt to not test 😂)

Luckily I feel ok now but I think it threw my cycle out of whack! Will probably take my first test on 22nd as that's when AF was due, which would be 8DPO but only going to use easy@home strips, no FRER until I think i actually might be seeing something because I had indents with them last month and it was horrible!

Trying not to look into any symptoms this month, just going to try and relax and just test on af due date 😅 I say this every month though! 😂

Can anyone recommend any ovulation kits please? I've never tested my ovulation so no clue and it'd be nice to know when the best fertility window is 😀

@LemonZestDribbles @MissBlue93 as soon as I wake up yes but didn't realise it had to be the same time every day 😫todays was at 7.10ish whereas weekdays are 6.30 when my alarm goes off. Better luck next month I guess 🙈 thanks for the tips!

Hi everyone, I’ve be awol from this thread for a while!

I’m back to using opks again this month, cd 14 today (cycle 4 since mmc in Jan) and got a peak reading this afternoon! 👍🏽

We have dtd every other day for the past week including today, hoping to tomorrow too (as believe that will be ov day) but have family visiting so not sure if it will happen. Hopefully we have done enough!

My cycles seem to have settled and are going back to a regular 27/28 days (the same as they were before I had dd)
I’m hoping that’s a good sign, as for the last year, they have been abit all over the place.

Sorry for the essay - no one knows we are ttc, I don’t really talk about it with anyone so it’s good to offload on here sometimes 🫣

@BellaTheDarkOverlord I use the easy@home ones ( I buy them from Amazon ) then use their Premom app to log results. It’s pretty easy and fuss free. I say this as someone who doesn’t really like using opks! 🥴

@kizzy97 are you in the TWW? If so, when did you ovulate?

@BellaTheDarkOverlord i use the clear blue digital as I personally find them less stressful than the IC but they are much more expensive! I buy the 20 boxes! I do sometimes use the one step cheap ones too though! I also recently started temping though after ttc for a year! So I’ve been temping 3 months now!

It can be within an hour so don't worry about specific minutes etc! The main thing is having solid sleep x

@Peonies94 thanks! I'll try some cheapies and see how they work. I do like clear blue tests so maybe progress to them if cheapies don't work well.

This was my todays test only a slight line on the bottom only frer looks the same 🤷‍♀️ Only a tiny bit of the line … odd but Meh

@EsmeSusanOgg oh! I'm like 5 days before. So I was being optimistic. Thought I'd check as I keep getting that weird metallic taste in my mouth I got with DS. Good intel onthe indents!

I can sort of see something in person. But that could be wishful thinking!

I am 6dpo today and have cramping and brown spotting.
I didn’t get this with DD that I remember but I am now convinced I am pregnant 😂

@LemonZestDribbles congrats!!! I'm still much same as yesterday in limbo haha I'm not going to test again just going to wait and see but feel like I'm out tbh! Next month I think I will be deleting apps etc and just going with the flow as the stress of it has consumed me this month🤦‍♀️ so pleased for you! Xxx

Days past ovulation. Sorry brain fried. Ovulated around 6 May, period due 20 May.

Congrats to the BFPs this month, how exciting!

Does anyone know if there is a June group? I am heading over there for cycle 18🥺, as AF showed her face yesterday... even though its like clockwork, its still very annoying 🙃 😩
