Hoping for BFP in May

CD1 here, starting a new thread for those who are hoping to get a BFP in May for a January/February baby 🥰

This is my cycle 3 trying for #2. I've got an 18mo old son.

Hey. I’ve realised 4 days after I ovulate I get pain on one side of pelvis. And also a lot of discharge. Do u think I have been doing the deed at the wrong time and maybe these pains I’m getting is a sign of ovulating? I used the app that’s when I do the deed few days b4 and few days after. Buy these pains happen every month at the same time on cycle day 14-18 for a whole day!
also when the app says I’m ovulating I think I am because I have high sex drive and also very wet sorry for tmi!! Let me know what u think! Next month going to buy ovulation tests!

So I got my peak OPK cd18... cd20 now and no BBT rise yet... so looks like I could well be ovulating today providing my bbt rises tomorrow. However AF due 22nd! So I'd only be 8DPO when it's due. I think covid has messed with it all this month, has anyone else had a small gap and still managed to conceive?

@Mummy202102 I'd definitely try ovulation tests. The apps just predict so might not be too accurate

@MissBlue93covid really seems to mess up people's cycles. It might be that af will get pushed back too.

So I tested yesterday afternoon and got a really good line on both frer and os. This morning they are really faint. The frer doesn't even show on camera. I'm hoping that this time I'm testing better in the afternoon rather than it being a bad sign

That's a really good line!! Yes it's possible your afternoon wee is stronger than morning ☺️

@LemonZestDribbles Hey, I'm doing much better today thank you - I have a day off work so I've had 10 hours sleep, I'm going to do a huge spring clean then spend the evening with my mum as my partner's away.

I wouldn't worry - my tests were always so much darker mid afternoon and early evening than the morning! My friends were too x

AF has come back this morning with a vengeance 😂luckily I'm off work and can relax. Not going to bother testing now. Definitely AF. On to the next cycle!

I’m finally in my fertile window - phew! 😀I hate the waiting to get to this point almost as much as the 2WW.

We’re really throwing everything at it this month (cycle 5) so really hoping this is the one. I will say I’m enjoying not using the digital ovulation kits. The cheapies have desensitised me to seeing a second line on tests and saved me cash.

@ElleBelleLou I'm feeling exactly the same. AF due sometime this weekend, getting the first signs of cramps and heavy feeling but still hoping. Part of me wishes it would just start already so I can at least have the answer that I already know and then start looking forward to the next cycle.

I just did a frer I couldn’t tell if neg so I took it apart and using my torch I can see a v faint line with pink in it hmmmm it’s on one half of the line there’s a gap in the middle so guess we’ll see! Boobs tingling cramps ect the usuals but as we know all could indicate af anyways

I got a stronger line yesterday afternoon. Stepping away from the tests until Sunday/Monday or I might just wait until af date.

Hope everyone has a fab weekend planned. We're reorganising the office/dump room but at least it's Eurovision tonight!

Morning! CD10 positive OPK on CB digital but not yet on a strip test, I’m glad I do both now!

I finally got my temp rise so looks like I did ovulate yesterday, providing it keeps rising! So today is hopefully 1DPO however AF meant to be due 22nd so will wait and see what happens, don't want to start wasting tests like last month!

Apparently I hit my peak yesterday but my numbers are all over the place and the 'peak' line doesn't look particularly stronger than the others. I've had a lot of EWCM over the last couple of days which is something that's been incredibly lacking over the last few cycles. I've also had left side twinges so pretty confident I'm ovulating from the left side this time.

My bbt seems to be all over the place as well. I've never done temping before so no idea what's normal. Any advice?

You need to take your temp same time every day and make sure you've had a solid 3 hours sleep minimum otherwise it can be off. I have an alarm set for 6:40 every day even on my days off! The second I wake I do my temp orally before I go for a wee or anything. If I've woken up say 5am for a wee, I'll do temp then because if I go back to sleep I've only had 1.5 hours sleep so the temp won't be accurate. It should drop before ovulation and then rise after and keep creeping up, remaining above the previous 6 temperatures before ov! Hope that helps, I'm still learning myself and seem to have ovulated really late this cycle x

Yes I hope so, long as that temp keeps increasing then it's all good signs for ov but of course none of it is guaranteed! Day 8 of testing positive for covid too 😷

@Hopefulprincess @LemonZestDribbles ahh thanks guys I also have some pink cm though which usually means af is on her way so not feeling confident at all! It was a cheap brand so maybe unreliable

@mummyofrb id say that was positive. It’s not possible to get a coloured line if there’s no hcg present!

@MissBlue93 hope you feel better soon, blummin covid! Good news on the ovulation though.

I am 5dpo today. I’ve had a few symptoms like last pregnancy but I am not reading into it and I am not going to test at 9dpo like last time. (I tell myself it’s more plastic into landfill in an attempt to not test 😂)
