Hoping for BFP in May

CD1 here, starting a new thread for those who are hoping to get a BFP in May for a January/February baby 🥰

This is my cycle 3 trying for #2. I've got an 18mo old son.

Morning, I was posting on this group earlier in the month then lost the thread only just found it again. I’m 9dpo on cycle 7 of TTC #3, with one tube following a ruptured ectopic.

boobs are super super sore but not necessarily abnormal for me. I keep getting lower abdo twinges and cramps. Trying not to symptom spot!!

I did an IC this morning, was trying to tel myself there was a shadow of a line but otherwise negative. I only have a 12 day luteal phase so AF will be due on Thursday

@Peonies94 I've not been using OPKs this month af is due 22nd if I've got my regular 28 days this month but I've had a couple of wonky ones these last few month but even with my latest cycle I'll have o'd by now, going to start testing from the 22nd if af dosen't show

@kizzy ahh not too long then! I have really irregular cycles so I have to use OPKs otherwise I’m just testing constantly! Cycles 30 days to 100 days! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ll be testing Friday!

Anyone else in the group due af in the next week so will be waiting/testing this week?

Hello! Hope I can join. @Peonies94 I am 7dpo today and will also be testing on Friday due to a party in the evening. The first week flew by, but it's now constantly on my mind!

@theblueflowers I’m testing that day too! I’ll be a few days behind you though! Ahh it’s torture isn’t it!

I always find the second week the worse!

CD11 today, I’ve got ovulation pain on my right side so I’ll be 1DPO tomorrow. Plan to test on 26th May when I’ll be 11DPO. We DTD last night, the night before and two nights before that. Do you think it’s worth doing it again tonight? I’m so tired after a busy weekend! 🙈

@Nyxxiedoes af usually arrive for you before then? I have a short LP and mine sometimes

@Peonies94 the last couple of cycles AF has turned up 10DPO so my luteal phase was only 9 days. Cycle before that was 8 days (which was my first natural cycle post pill). How long is yours usually?

I've been taking vitamins C and B6 hoping to extend it a bit. I ovulated a bit earlier than usual so hoping my cycle length stays the same which would mean a longer LP. Well actually I'd prefer a BFP! 🤣

@Nyxxie mines usually 9 days too! I use to have really long cycles up to 100 days but last 2 have been normal length, but I’ve been temping so now know LP is actually only 9 days!! I’ve been taking vitamin b6 but I’ll be adding vitamin c next month as I’ve heard people say that too!

CD5 of cycle 2. Got my OPKs today and tried one. Had to hide it in case dh thinks it's a pregnancy test and thinks I'm pregnant with that line 😀Looks like I'll be ovulating when I'm on late's at work. Dh said wake him up when I get home at 1am and he'll be game 😂

I feel like I'm a bit out of touch with my body now that I'm temping and OPKing. Going on cervix and CM I'd say I'm ovulating today but my twingy pains were on CD12. OPK suggests I'm ovulating today but my BBT was higher today which means I've ovulated already doesn't it? It's all so confusing. I don't believe that the 1.7 OPK was accurate but here we are.

I'm running low on OPKs and I'm considering not getting any more, it's not made the situation any clearer for me. We've DTD once and had two attempts at AI this month. It would have been more because I wanted more but DP has to time taking his tablet impeccably for it to work and some nights it just hasn't happened. Not his fault but it's an added layer of frustration

Just wanted to come and say thanks to @Hopefulprincess for pointing out that I could still ovulate. Was losing my mind waiting for AF after MMC in March, I've never done OPKs before but seems like the symptoms I've been having the last few days are actually ovulation rather than pre-menstrual. I didn't have ovulation pain before having a baby so it always confuses me! Looks like I will have a TWW in May after all 🤞🤞🤞

Looks like im having a more normal cycle this month, last 2 were 23 days. Now on CD26, so af should be due tomorrow or Wednesday. I won't be testing this month as we had a sickness bug so pretty sure we missed the right time.

Not sure what to do about bbt my 2 year old is such an irregular sleeper, sometimes 4 hours straight just doesn't happen!!!

I don’t get 4hrs straight sleep here, not because the kids wake me but because I’m so restless at the moment. I do BBT which seems to confirm Ov for me but can’t rely on it much more than that

10dpo today. I have FRERs en route, did an IC this morning, if I squint hard there might be something but not reliably.

boobs still super sore which I don’t think is normal for me, I’m sure it normally settles by 8-9dpo

@Mummyme87 so do you just test at the same time every day?

@Purple29 yeah within about an hour, it’s not perfect but it gives me what I need

And I ovulate on a different day every cycle almost, which is new since my ectopic @Purple29
