Hoping for BFP in May

CD1 here, starting a new thread for those who are hoping to get a BFP in May for a January/February baby 🥰

This is my cycle 3 trying for #2. I've got an 18mo old son.

First time posting.
We are cycle 1 trying to for our first.
Currently on CD4 but these days seem to be going so slowly! Will be nice to have someone to talk to it about.
Had 3 months of 'preparing' the usual eating healthier, tracking my cycles and his/her vitamins (when he remembers!).

@Gummybear10 hi! Nice to meet you. Oh well done, we did the exact same when we were TTC my first 2 years ago and we managed to catch first cycle which was amazing! I've been a bit less prepared this time as it's harder to remember these things with a toddler 😂 good luck!

@catred4 getting caught cycle 1 would be the dream but we are trying not to get our hopes up for it. I've recently seen a couple of my friends experience a MC and one having IUI so it make me a little anxious about ttc. We've given ourself a 3 month window but then we are due to get married so we would have to wait until later in the year. It would just be so special if we had a 'baby on board' for the wedding.

Oh I can imagine having a toddler around keeps you very busy! Good luck to you and let's hope the next couple of weeks fly by.

Hi! It'll be cycle#1 for baby#1 for me - I think test dates will be around 3rd week of May.

Hi! Also hoping for a BFP in May! I’ve just had a chemical so think I’m on CD3 but don’t really know how my cycle is going to go after the chemical. Hopefully goes back to normal but anyway! Starting to track with OPKs this month so fingers crossed. We have a one year old already. Nice to meet yous! 💖

Checking in! CD7 of cycle 4 TTC #2. Starting OPKs this month and DP has resolved to go to GP if we haven't caught by cycle 6 for his issues. DS is 4 next Tuesday which is likely to be around the beginning of my FW this month. It's all happening here 🤣

Fingers crossed @TeddyBeans haha gosh are you gonna have energy to DTD if you're sorting out a 4th birthday 😩! Hope you're doing better manage to catch before and don't need the GP appt :)

I'm just due my period and set to think about starting next cycle. I had a pregnancy scare last month but DH and I were both very disappointed so think we're going to start trying. We have a 18 month old son atm.

I remember ttc being very stressful last time - I had a short luteal phase but in the end it only took us 6 months - so a surprise would have been nice. Good luck everyone!

CD20 here. Didn’t try this cycle but will the next - projected testing date is May 17th. So I will hop aboard if you don’t mind!

Joining from the April thread.

Had no luck in my last cycle so here's to hoping for May. I'm CD7 today and have ordered easy at home opk's and their thermometer to track BBT also which I will start on Thursday morning so it gives me more of an indication as to when I am going to/have already ovulated. That way I don't have to worry about having sex every other day for the rest of my cycle as that takes the fun out of it all!

That’s why I use them, Sparkly! We just don’t have the time or drive for sex every other day. My modus operandi is sex the day after my period ends (usually day 6), again around day 9, then as soon as I get a positive OPK (usually day 10 or 11). Well it worked last time anyway!

Ahh I'm honestly crossing my fingers for this cycle 🤞 @Organictangerine

My cycle lengths have varied slightly but still within normal range, so it will be good to use the opk's and BBT so I have much more of an idea when it comes to ovulation as my cycle length between Feb and March was 35 days and between March and April it was 27!

Crossing my fingers this time round.

Hey all! I’d like to join too please! I’m CD12 and 1DPO I believe! Only DTD once and that was yesterday (day of ovulation) whilst EWCM was present so fingers crossed!

Hi can in jump on? TTC Number 1 cycle 2, feeling nervous as I have ovarian cysts which is making cycles irregular! Came off the pill in December and been taking vitamins to prep!

I am trying for my 3rd baby :) have a 5 and 3 year old already. This time round it’s been a rocky journey. I started trying at beginning of the year and had a chemical pregnancy on 1st cycle. I then conceived again on 2nd cycle and got to 9 weeks. I had a scan at 6 weeks, all fine and a heartbeat. Then got covid and had a scan the week after and there was no heartbeat :( I had surgery to remove the pregnancy on 24/03 and pregnancy test finally turned negative today!

So I have no idea when I will be ovulating or when my next period will be but hoping some time in May so I can start the TTC journey again :)

Nice to meet you all! If I don’t get my period back by May then I will follow all your journeys vicariously!
