Hoping for BFP in May

CD1 here, starting a new thread for those who are hoping to get a BFP in May for a January/February baby 🥰

This is my cycle 3 trying for #2. I've got an 18mo old son.

Hey all 👋🏻. I’m 4DPO and AF is expected 30th April.

I’m 37, TTC1 and it’s our fourth cycle. I was silly to think it would happen so quickly and every month is such a big disappointment.

The good news is that this cycle is the first normal one post Covid vaccines & I’m back to 29 days. I’m hoping that’s a good sign for this month.

Hi, trying to conceive my second child. Had a miscarriage in March after conceiving on first cycle, had surgical management end of March and haven't had a period yet but I think I may have ovulated last week?? We haven't tried this month as we had family staying with us and our daughter was in our room for a week and I'm still feeling low about the mc but hoping I have a period in about a week and then will be testing end of May - but no idea what going to happen with this cycle! Hoping my body doesn't fail me again.

@LemonZestDribbles same here! My boy is 19 months on 5th May. We've been trying a few cycles (properly for 2, lazily for 2 before that) and loads of people I know from baby classes and stuff are all announcing they're pregnant and I'm so jealous 😩

Just got a high opk reading this morning, however the test line doesn't look very dark 🤔 I will test later today but I'm just wondering whether it getting darker once you reach your peak?

@Happylittlepickle we're going to start trying this cycle (I'm cd3 today) got the opks ordered and everything. When's his birthday? That's far more sensible than me. The broody is too strong 🤣

@PeachesToday I don't know why school bleated on about contraception- it's so hard to get pregnant! Hopefully your cycle back to normal is a good sign 🤞

@Catred4 yes!! I'm in one fb book that only has 40 of us and over 20 of them are either pregnant or already had a baby since our group. I need whatever fertile water they are all drinking 🤣 the jealousy is unreal. Doesn't help that this toddler age is really fun so makes you forget the newborn fun 😬

My reading has changed to peak since doing another test just now 🙈🙈🙈 I don't get it! I did have some CM this morning too, some in my knickers which appeared a creamy consistency (apologies for this TMI!!) 😩😩

@allthingssparkly hmmmm I'm not sure about that one being peak, it looks like the dye has run a bit and the app is confused. Keep testing, you're getting close x

I'll re-test this evening and see if anything changes ☺️ My latest one looks close but obviously not close enough @Catred4 🙈

I suppose my BBT will confirm whether or not I have ovulated once I see a rise with that. 🤞

Hi all! Would love to join, TTC #1 with 2 failed clomid cycles and switched over to letrozole 5mg this April, currently cd18 with negative OPK but 3 high temps after a dip and previous lower/stable temperatures, was waiting for ovulation but with the way BBT is looking I may have already ovulated? Which is great as I can't remember the last time I naturally ovulated, probably 2 years ago now, and my body did not respond to clomid at all, so fingers crossed this time 🥺🤞🏻

Hi @salia12345678910 oh wow that would great if you naturally ovulated! Did you DTD at a good time if you have ovulated? Fingers crossed!

@Catred4 I don't think i ovulated naturally as I was on letrozole this month but I'm over the moon if I have actually ovulated as my body did not respond to clomid 😫 BD every 2-3 days which I'm not sure was enough, hoping BBT stays consistent now 🤞🏻

I'm TTC no.2, have a 19mo DD. We have been trying since December 21 and I have had two chemical pregnancies / early losses, one in Jan, and one just now (on CD3 of the miscarriage/ period). It sounds like a few others have been through similar... Sending love.

We conceived DD straight away so been a bit of a shock to be going through all this.

Taking lots of vitamins and trying to focus on a healthy lifestyle and diet, rather than get bogged down with worry about whether I'm not able to have another baby now 😞

Hoping we all get bfps this cycle 🤞💖

Very much in the same position as @Skylark1990 trying since December 21 for #2 thought it would be quick like the first but nothing!
AF showed its face this morning so new cycle begins, it's hard to remain positive every month isn't it!
