We have a heartbeat!! Baby is measuring 7wks 5 days which they were happy with. Still feels like a dream but we actually saw a baby! Inside me! 😍

@somatronic 7 months (6 cycles with timing bang on every one), so not ages, but long enough to worry whether something is going wrong, especially with my irregular cycles these days and being 12 years older than I was last pregnancy. DP has never had kids either.

@Minster2012 yup, tried them both this morning just to be sure (and kinda wanted to use up these clear blues) both BFN, which I'd convinced myself it would be so not too disappointed at least.

My chart now thinks I'm 3DPO as temps have been raised since the dip/last EWCM, so I guess I'll just have to be patient.

Omicron is rampant in my town now, and we've had to cancel our bigger events and just don't want to encourage spread, so I've got a lot more time on my hands to sit and twiddle my thumbs lately. My shop is looking very tidy!

Hey I'm new here been trying to conceive for over 1 year now I've had previous abdominal surgery for crohn's and colitis and also had an ileostomy bag reversal loosing hope as not seeing no success at all just so much pain which I can't take and turn to codeine and paracetamol anyone have the same ? What has helped ? Any advice most welcome please

@isam8598 have you been to your doctor for the TTC? I've had colitis/ulcerative colitis/an illeostomy & then reversal & I can take codeine? You shouldn't be in any pain from that? I'd speak to your colo-rectal team about the pain if it's from the reversal you really shouldn't be experiencing any pain & it won't affect your chances of conceiving, I'm pregnant & that's only one of my medical history issues 😜I'm just consultant led & having a planned c section with one reason being the avoiding pressurising my internal scarring

Hey I'm 36-37 in September I've properly got adhesions I'm on 60mg of codeine as due to my pain in my legs but after marriage I seem to be getting more I'll with utis abdominal pain I've been to the doctors and she has referred me to an gynaecologist but I'm on an waiting list I've also had the same as you but i keep getting pains from catching Utis intercourse hurts to a lot I never thought this would happen as every surgery I had I was told it will be no problem unless I've got adhesions I had an epidural in my last surgery that has left me with back and leg pain what mg codeine are you on ? The only thing I keep being told is I've got 3 years until im 40 I really want an baby I got married due to being I'll but I've married an gem who understands I've lost interest in intercourse for the last few months im scared

@isam8598 I'm not on any codeine, I used to have 15mg at night but only for a few months only meds I have for the bowel work is topiramate forever. I really think you need to speak to both your colorectal team & a gynae I'm afraid.

@isam8598 I shall be 38 in July, baby will be born in may so that's not a huge issue

I have Azathioprine pentasa we're you allowed to take codeine during pregnancy? My gastroenterologist doctor did say I could have adhesions do the gastroenterologist team help? Also did they put you on any medication when you was trying to conceive? What vitamins did you take ? Sorry for so many questions I'm all new to this

Aww it’s my first baby I’m trying for I know age is just an number but as I keep reading on the internet after 40 your eggs are reduced drastically

@isam8598 Welcome to the thread 😊 I'm sorry you're having a tough time conceiving and have health problems too. I've been told I likely also have adhesions from endometriosis and my previous c section and I'm waiting for a laparoscopy and adhesiolysis. Thankfully I don't have UC to deal with as I know from work how nasty it can be

I'm back on CD1 but another 27 day cycle with an 11 day luteal phase so at least my cycle definitely seems to be settling down and we have our first fertility clinic appointment on 6th April. My grandma died this morning too so it's been a shitty day all round 😭

@isam8598 I haven't seen a gastro team for over 5 years so don't know if they can help with TTC I'm afraid. I wasn't told to take anything extra for TTC, but I do take vit C, Co-enzyme 10 , vit D & proceive TTC. I haven't needed codeine for years so I don't know about in pregnancy either I'm sorry. If you have pain when having sex though you really need to be trying to sort that. It shouldn't be from your bowel surgery

@polkadotpixie sorry to hear about your grandma, were you close? Cycles settling down is good news!

@isam8598 welcome to the bus! I don't know much about any of that, but it sounds rough. Hope you get some answers soon.

My doctors apt the other week was cancelled (well they tried to postpone it till when I had work, with a different GP) they don't have a full time doctor right now, only locums, and for those they're only taking appointments on the day for emergency stuff. Not ideal... but pandemic height here and it's a small clinic, so I understand it's gotta be hard right now, especially with our border locked down over the past 2 years. Doctors in my city are always fully booked, so switching is a no go. I guess it's just wait and record symptoms right now, and hope some sanity is restored in a couple of months when this covid wave has swept through.

CD 35 DPO ?? 4 ?? (or 15) temps are up, cervix high, no sign of AF. Uncertainty sucks.

Pregnant but the pregnancy test came
Out negative I did have an bloods which showed low on greens so I’ve added Shatavari and celery tablets to my vitamins I also take sea moss Ashwaganda
