@Minster2012 she was basically saying I should chill out and keep trying naturally because I haven't been trying that long. I explained that I've been on fertility treatments since the day I started trying due to pre-diagnosed PCOS and still no luck apart 20 months or so and I'll be 35 next week so no time to waste and she just talked about her sister conceiving naturally at 40. Nonsense basically.

@BellatrixK hi, lovely, we went out for a nice meal and a walk in the marina such a lovely day, I think af is finally here, after all the spotting, it’s not much but something on pad so, I might test next week to avoid what ifs
Are you going to book an early scan for peace of mind?

@Franklydear I think I’m going to try and hold on until 8 weeks. I definitely want an early scan, but I think if it was uncertain because I went too early then it would stress me out! Absolutely rubbish about AF, especially because it is so uncertain. Lots of self care and chocolate needed. I am hoping it stays away for you though. Your day at the Marina sounds delightful. What an absolute arsehole boss boy is!

@BellatrixK a scan before week 7 is pointless, good plan, the day in the Marina was what I needed for a long time, and lots of knitting today, I really need to ease off the chocolate, those pounds are not gonna fall of me by themselves thought , no af yet and less spotting even, I'll wait a few days and test as my boobs haven't go down, eating a lot of rubbish today so the heartburn might be my own fault. Bossboy is basically an overgrown teenager, nasty, mean, mysoginist and homophobic that thinks is the greatest guy in the world and you'd be lucky to be his minion

Unfortunately lots of people hear the word IVF and immediately feel obliged to tell you all about their friend's cousin's daughter who fell on just before her treatment cycle because she relaxed and have you tried relaxing?

Nothing much to report on my side. Had some brown blood, not a lot but enough to panic me, however got told it was pretty normal at the point so just holding out for the scan on Thursday really

@InkyPaper it's horrible isn't it, even if normal, it looks like spotting stop last night, DH confirms my boobs are huge even if he's not allowed near cos they hurt, but he reminds me last year I had an 8 day spotting period I went to the gp about, of course the answer was one of those things
I'll test on Wednesday if no more spotting

Hello all, just catching up!! Had a bit of a mental week. Last Sunday on CD13 I started POAS (usually ovulate CD16/17/18) and got a static smiley but a negative easy@home. Panicked and decided to bring my trip forward by a day! Had to travel down to coparents and sleep on his sofa and inseminate in the middle of the night lol, was sort of a nightmare for both of us. We inseminated CD14 and CD16 (he wanted a day’s break to build swimmers back up). On CD14 and CD15 got blazing positive OPKs that kept getting stronger which hasn’t happened before. Inseminations went okay though coparent’s erm “output” was quite low this month, not sure if that’s due to stress or dehydration or what but did make me feel a bit like maybe it wasn’t our strongest month. We also usually try to do at least 3 inseminations. But we hit O-2 (or early hours of O-1) and O day so all good. Now I’m back home and 5dpo and managing my expectations!! Minimal testing last month was much less upsetting so gonna try and do that again, maybe without the 10dpo impulsive test this time!

@Dawnbird so sorry for the BFN. When is AF due? That vest is so so cute. So much talent on this bus!

@InkyPaper so close now. Sounds like nothing to worry about, although I know how much you will be. You did so well not to panic. Thursday is so close now, you can do it!

@lakejupiter what a stressful time! Amazing work on getting there so quickly and managing to cover it! I imagine the ‘output’ is an extra thing you’ll worry about when you can see it… but you got the best days! Waiting until 10dpo is definitely best.

I’m trying hard still to ostrich. Butttt I got a 2-3 weeks yesterday which I’ve never got before, so trying to cling to that optimism… tightly!

Eeeermmmm, I stopped spotting sometime yesterday evening, still have big sore boobs, bloating, feeling wet and heartburn, I dunno

This vest is super easy to make, great beginner friendly or mindless Netflix knit. It's the first thing I ever knitted for my DS12 when he was a wee bub. He's not so wee anymore, will be taller than me very soon and I'm not short!
