Hello! Hopefully it arrives soon so we can move onto this thread properly I’ve always liked the idea of a December baby

I’ve done that thing where I’ve looked at all my projected periods and due dates and from now on it’s like 2nd December and then 29th December (really not ideal!) and then mid Jan (also not the best time!)

So when I’m officially on this thread I really want it to work!

Tempted to get a bit more serious. I think I need to DTD more including after ovulation and am wondering if anything else is known to be helpful?

I’m definitely out for november. DS has taken to become some sort of sleep hating demon at bedtime so DH haven’t been able to do the deed at all.
I’m hoping it’s temporary and he’ll go back to his usual bedtime by next month.

Already thinking about when to DTD next month. I did DTD after ovulation this month as I was worried I was stopping too early but obviously don’t think that worked either. This month I’m thinking DTD every other day from day 11 until at least day 17, I usually ovulate on day 16. Last month we tried a few days in a row but then couldn’t be bothered on actual ovulation day. Also thinking about doing away with the OPKs for this month!

@santastolemycat how old is he? Sleep deprivation is the worst!

Just done a calculation and I’d be looking at 3/12 due date if successful this cycle and 31/12 if next cycle. Never fancied a December baby before but willing to give anything a go now!

I wanted a 2.5 year age gap and 3 December would be pretty much bang on so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

He’s had a two hour nap today because he’s missed out on so much sleep the last week so i’m hoping the curse is lifting

And good luck! I think mine is a similar age to yours. I had hoped the sleep would improve but it seems they are still very up and down. Good luck for this month.

I think I’ll be pretty gutted if this month doesn’t work again!

I feel the same. December better be it!

Another thing is I am still breastfeeding, mostly at night and just a small amount but it’s definitely still happening. My periods are pretty regular so I thought it shouldn’t be affecting ovulation but maybe it is in some way?

Hey, moving over after another chemical 😞,altho I’m not sure I’ll try this month. @BiscuitLover3678 I’m still breastfeeding once a day. I thought once periods were back it’s meant to be fine, but I’m wondering if the hormones from breastfeeding are affecting things, altho plenty seem to get pregnant when breastfeeding 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hey everyone. Moving over here too after a depressing last cycle. I'm not even sure we'll try again either this month OH was mumbling about a vasectomy after seeing me so unwell last week. But we DTD today with no protection so 🤷‍♀️
I personally would love a December baby but can't even bear doing OPK testing this month.
