Hello ladies!

I’ve been reading these threads (at all hours clearly!) I just wondered if anyone was currently in their 2WW and wanted to join me? It’s so long!! I’m ttc number 2, have a 4 year old son, fell first time with him luckily so certainly not expecting the same this time round. This is our first cycle. I’m only using an app not any ovulation sticks so not sure how many days po I am, but According to app fertile window ended yesterday. AF due 21st I only have 24/25 day cycles since coming off my pill.

Anywhoo no symptoms yet as too early! I’ve had ovulation cramps and a few nights of very intense dreams. I think the only symptoms I can remember pre bfp with my son was really really sore boobs, couldn’t bare a bra on!! And really tired.

Please people join me to symptom spot and keep each other company during the 2WW.

This is also my first cycle. I have no idea where I am in my cycle as I have PCOS and irregular cycles, however last 3 have been 28days. If this cycle is the same then I'm on day 21 and in my 2ww. Makes it difficult for me to use an app or sticks. Stopped the contraceptive patch over a year ago in prep, tried tracking temp but this was all over the place and CM tracking only helps some months so its just a go with the flow and see what happens situation for me.

Anyways... I believe my symptoms with my last was the same, sore boobs and implantation bleed. Think everything else came after bfp.

I know my wait may be a little different to yours but I'm happy to keep ya company 😁

@ANP2020 @D0nd361u I’ll join you! CD15, AF due on 23rd Feb, so in my TWW. This is my 1st cycle trying for #1 and I have no idea what to expect or what to look out for so would really like to have people to symptom spot with.

What’s your opinions on taking FRER before AF is due? I’m going on holiday the week of AF and I don’t know whether to test before I go or wait until I get back, I think I would ruin the holiday if I got a BFN during it. My concerns are that if turns out to be a CP then I would start the holiday on cloud nine but come crashing down if AF arrives. But I also feel like I can’t wait to test 😂

@smiles39 - yep I hear you on that one. I remember before I found out I had PCOS I had 2 false positives followed by a neg and then it becomes all you think about. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Well I definitely welcome the company!! It’s so hard and unknown isn’t it! I wish we could just have a clearer way of knowing when we ovulate Espesh with PCOS and irregular cycles!!

Fingers crossed for us all we get a BFP! So my AF is due 21st! I’m not actually sure what day I ovulated as I used Ovia app for tracking and friend to go off CM which has proved fruitless this month as I’m still getting it now!! So it’s been all over too! I’ve had some cramps in pelvic region but I don’t know if I have them every month and just been switched off to them! Prodding my boobs everyday 🤦🏽‍♀️ But no soreness haha!

@smiles39 I fell first cycle with my first one, was really lucky! I did an FRER 5 days before my AF and got a positive so I’ll be doing the same again! But it’s hard not to get addicted to testing haha! But I don’t think I’ll be able to hold out till the 21st!! I know what u mean about the CP and sometimes I envy the people that don’t find out they’re pregnant till 6 weeks gone as they miss that CP risk! But me personally I can’t resist! Maybe test early if you have symptoms? If not wait for AF?

I'm due around 18th and would like to join. I'm not sure I even ovulated as didn't get dark lines on OPK and my temp is still low (36.1°).
TTC #1 at 39.
Been referred for fertility, and tests are starting to come through.
Still hoping to conceive naturally.

My experience is that getting AF is easier than BFN. So I would just wait until you return to test, if AF doesn't arrive whilst you're away.

My period is due the 20th February. Had a positive peak ovulation test a week ago. Not sure exactly how many days DPO I am as I have no ovulation symptoms but estimating about 7 DPO today.

Hope to test middle of this week.

How are you finding the TWW? It feels more like 4 weeks at times!!

@QueenBee22 welcome!!! We’re pretty close with our AF days! I’m waiting till the 16th then think I’ll do an FRER test, think that’s the earliest I can do it!

Oh the 2WW is soooo long hahaha! I’m super busy and have loads of things pencilled in to keep me occupied, but still it’s just at the back of your mind and sneaking on forums every spare second! Have you had any unusual symptoms so far? X

I'm also my 2ww, due on the 16th, 11DPO today and tested with an early response superdrug which was BFN so I'm not feeling very hopeful now. 🤞 For you all & really hope we see some BFPs on this thread xx

Ill join in too. Period is due around the 19th/20th. If it doesn't arrive then I will probably test on the 21st.
I never test before as I have had some chemical pregnancy and it was a horrible.

I'm not feeling to hopeful this cycle - Only managed to DTD twice... around ovulation DH got sick and we missed the few days around it.

@ANP2020 Yes I am due the day before you so I think I will do a FRER on the 15th! Hoping for a positive for both of us.

No symptoms at all really bar possibly a small increase in cervical mucus the last 2 days. I am taking that as a good sign as on my last pregnancy I had no symptoms at all until I was about 5.5 weeks pregnant. How about you?

I try not to think about symptoms as I find I get similar ones when I'm due anyways.
I'm due around the 20th so indeed it looks like we are all quite close together.

@QueenBee22 thank you, I really hope so! TTC is such a minefield, when you're young you're made to think falling pregnant is the easiest thing in the world, if only 😂 fingers crossed you get your BFP, how many cycles have you been TTC for? Xx

@KSAM that’s so true! You think you’ll just decide right I’ll have a baby now and then it’ll happen! Completely unaware of the complexities of Ttc! Let alone the emotional rollercoaster! You spend so much of your life trying not to get pregnant!!

@QueenBee22 no nothing really! My CM has been all over so been hard to pinpoint it! We’ve dtd a lot but still that doesn’t mean much it’s all about the right timing! I’ve had lots of tugging and pulling in pelvic area, but as this is cycle 1 that could’ve been there last month and I didn’t notice as I wasn’t paying attention!! Nothing else going on 🤷🏽‍♀️

I have some exams on Monday and Tuesday so that’ll hopefully pass some till the 16th! 🤞🤞 for some BFPs on this thread!!

Keeps asking for a brother or a sister (I think he thinks they’re born a ready walking talking playmate though so he may be a bit disappointed 🤣🤣🤣)

It is a complete brain messing exercise. I'm constantly symptom spotting, trying not to symptom spot, getting annoyed at myself for symptom spotting, etc.
@D0nd361u I suffer really bad PMS starting a week before AF, so helpful to know it may feel the same.

This month this first week seems to have gone quicker for some reason - I checked the dates earlier and was surprised AF was due Friday.

We only managed to DTD 4 times this month - CD 11, 14, 16 & 18, as partner was away several nights this week. Hopefully that covered us though. Was EOD.

I'm concerned my temp is still low though and what that may mean.

I won't test until after AF is due, as it's always such a disappointment.

@KSAM sorry for the BFN, still time if you're CD11 for it to turn positive.

@ANP2020 - I have two, my youngest 11 and happened first time so kinda feels new and different this tame round.

@pinkpirlie - yep as much as I try not to take notice of symptoms as soon as I notice them I wonder lol

Anyone know when CM is suppose to dry up?

@pinkpirlie @HellsBellsK based on what you’ve said I think I will try to wait until after holiday to test, if AF is late. I couldn’t handle a BFP before AF followed by AF arriving anyways due to a CP. That will 100% ruin the holiday.

@ANP2020 no children of my own but have a SD5 and SS8. They both want daddy and I to have a baby, so they have a little brother/sister. We have full custody so playing the role of mum for the last few years and not having a child of my own has taken its toll. I’ve had to wait until OH was ready to TTC, it’s been a tough journey getting to this cycle because there’s been a lot of resentment from me. Now it’s here I’m both over the moon he’s ready but terrified 😂

@KSAM this is only my second one so early days yet but I have been tracking my cycle for 6 cycles to try and see patterns.

I tried the SMEG method this month but couldn't do the 3 days in a row we were both exhausted.

Glad it isn't just us. We tried SMEG too, but DP struggled with the pressure. We have since settled well into EOD and that works for both of us. He's feeling more relaxed which makes it much better.

My temp finally rose today (CD 24), with AF due Friday I doubt we will get BFP this month. Even though we haven't DTD since CD18 (partner was away 19-22), if I just ovulated there won't be time for it to stick.

Not trying next month (avoiding Xmas and having lots of fertility tests), so will religiously temp, OPK and ferning to see what it is doing. I hadn't tracked for a year until this cycle as it was getting too stressful.

@smiles39 sounds like a really good plan.
Must have been a stressful journey,so try to enjoy it now you're trying. I hope you get good news after/during your hols.

@pinkpirlie with EOD when do you stop? Do you wait until a peak OPK and stop a few days later or keep going until you get your period?

We stop usually around CD20. I go off mucus so stop a few days after EWCM is gone.
I don't usually OPK, but did this month as it had been about a year. I didn't get a peak or even close to one.

@smiles39 that does sound amazing that your both finally ready ttc! Although overwhelming when it’s actually here! I had a friend who was in a similar position with two stepchildren and they’ve now got a little girl between them.

@KSAM we’ve never tried the sperm meet egg methods but does seem exhausting! We try EOD over fertile window as app tells us, that’s exhausting enough!! Don’t know if I could manage every day!!!

@QueenBee22 🤣 your comment about avoiding Xmas made me smile! We’re exactly the same! With Xmas and DS bday in January (before payday!!!) so I literally just could afford a December or Jan baby!!! I think as well I’d not like to run the risk of an Xmas day delivery!!

Hopefully you do still get you BFP and your temp just spiked for another reason!

I do just have the “feeling” I’m out this month though! Just can’t shift it! I’m not feeling any symptoms at all and just can’t explain it but just don’t think it’s happened! Haha not very optimistic I know!! I’m also on shorter cycles since coming off my pill (which I’ve been on since having DS) I’m at 25 day cycles since October when I started watching them! Whereas before I was a big standard 28 so I just can’t wrap round in my head when id have ovulated roughly!

I have a little boy who's 5 so trying for number 2, fell immediately with him and so far no luck of baby number 2 although we've not been tracking ovulation or anything just been DTD as and when we feel like it haha!

Woke up this morning to the most unusual discharge (sorry if TMI) and then realised my period is due tomorrow so wondering what's happening.

I have experienced this some months, unusual. Hopefully for you its a good sign.
I don't think this month is for me. Didn't DTD much around the middle of month and I got mad acid reflux (tends to happen to me before AF)
