[ANP2020]

Hello ladies!

I’ve been reading these threads (at all hours clearly!) I just wondered if anyone was currently in their 2WW and wanted to join me? It’s so long!! I’m ttc number 2, have a 4 year old son, fell first time with him luckily so certainly not expecting the same this time round. This is our first cycle. I’m only using an app not any ovulation sticks so not sure how many days po I am, but According to app fertile window ended yesterday. AF due 21st I only have 24/25 day cycles since coming off my pill.

Anywhoo no symptoms yet as too early! I’ve had ovulation cramps and a few nights of very intense dreams. I think the only symptoms I can remember pre bfp with my son was really really sore boobs, couldn’t bare a bra on!! And really tired.

Please people join me to symptom spot and keep each other company during the 2WW.

@ANP2020 the wait is really horrible! Ha ha, regarding your tummy - I just started feeling like my left boob started hurting. I am definitely going mad.

Hi everyone, I'd love to join! I'm currently 5DPO and the only 'symptoms' I've had is the most vivid dream that I had a shadow of a positive on an internet cheapie test, then a lovely positive on an FRER. It was such a realistic dream! Aside from that though there's nothing going on, I don't feel anything. AF due on 25th so we'll wait and see. It's month 4 of TTC for me :)

@Wheresmycustard haha can totally relate, I didn’t even make it halfway through cycle 1 before I turned into a control freak about it. Not sure why I thought I could be that chill person.

@ANP2020 oh I totally relate. My cramps have gone, my nipples feel fine, no symptoms at all this evening and I’m basically disappointed because of it 😂 I’ve still got a bit of dark brown spotting but who knows if that means anything. Wish I could just stop thinking about it for a few days to be honest.

@Wheresmycustard ah yeah BUT if you’ve got two kids then it worked? 😂😂 so maybe we should all copy?

@SkeletonSkins thank you. I got a BFP at 8DPO with my last pregnancy so that's why I almost ready to rule myself out at 10DPO! I suppose I should try to remain hopeful.

@KSAM Thanks it was a FRER I used. Due in 6 days time.

@ANP2020 Thanks I am going to hold off on testing now for a few days and try to wait until AF is due if I can!

Hello may I join too please? Currently 6DPO. First time trying for a second baby, DD is 1 and still breastfeeding. For DD testes positive at 9DPO using a FRER, planning on testing towards the end of this week x good luck to all you lovely ladies

@smiles39 I had at least two apps on my phone by first cycle TTC😂

@SkeletonSkins your right I do have kids so somethings did work.
@QueenBee22 if I'm being honest what did it for us was not having sex too much but getting stuck in when I got ewcm. I eventually gave up on the opk's, the daily charting eased off too. I updated an app with my af and when I spotted ewcm I'd checked what cd I was on for reference but I exhausted myself checking daily.
I've been pregnant 7 times, gave birth 3 times and raising 2 so I been through the ringer a bit (One of our reasons for not planning more).
Out of those 7 I think maybe two of them where a result of opk's so they do work I'm not suggesting everyone promptly throw all opk's in the bin.
But after a while of trying we stopped timing when to dtd, we went back to doing it when we wanted too... I just chose to want to when I got ewcm. I stopped giving DH daily updates on what my cm was like that day.

In the earlier months we start off "practicing" pick up over ovulation then once opk showed it had passed we were litterally too tired and barely touched each other until it was a new month.

BUT I remember reading lots of threads about relaxing being the key but when I got some success with opk's even though I lost them I couldn't relax until it came more natural, relaxing over something you want so badly is so very hard.

So my advice would be to keep dtd natural, don't schedule in advance, find a way of quietly tracking ov (for me to was ewcm) and pounce.

AF turned up with a vengeance today, she never let's me down, onto the next month, OH will be pleased by another month of unlimited sex at least 😂

I think I'm going to ditch the OPKs this month and just try to relax, easier said than done mind. Good luck to all those still in their 2ww 🤞

Hopefully that something you see turns out to bfp. If you don't mind me asking since it's your 3rd what's the ages of your other two?

Morning ladies, BFN for me this morning! Now got the whole day to get through! I have some more tests getting delivered today, I’ll take one tomorrow as I’m on a day off so won’t be able to resist then think I’ll stop! It’s turning me into a mad woman!!

Ah @ANP2020 so sorry about the BFN. Which tests are you having delivered? I need to go and get some more from boots as Amazon weren’t going to deliver until Friday.

I’m 99% I’ve got a BFN this morning. There is the faintest whisper of a line but there’s no colour to it so I’m sure it’s an evap. Going to test again tonight cause let’s face it I won’t be able to help myself.

Ahh @ANP2020 sorry it was a bfn.

I'm using internet cheapies (they served me well in the past when I was testing non stop) still early for me but well I've learnt nothing from previous times.🙄 I think I got an evap, maybe just maybe it had a hint of a second line. I don't know if I just know where the second line should be or its actually there.
I feel pretty crampy this morning like af is on her way but I'm not due af until next week, think I've stressed myself out this last week I might have brought it on early. Just need to wait and see.

I can’t see anything but my eyes aren’t too great and it could be too early. Not out though until your period arrives. My tummy feels a bit rubbish but it could be AF symptoms so trying not to really think about it - obviously not going well as I’m on here!

Okay @thebloodycatwontstopmeowing I can see a bit of a something in the first one, it looks a bit like mine that a took this morning (also 9dpo), I’m assuming negative until I see otherwise but I can’t help but keep looking at it wondering…

So my spotting has not returned, my boobs are feeling a bit sensitive, I have been feeling nauseous for the last two days and when I came home from work last night I had like a 3 hour nap before sleeping the whole night and waking up late 😱😱😱. I had the most vivid dreams too.
Is it all in my head? Am I coming down with something? Or are these good signs? AF due in like 4 days, testing early never worked for me but I am soooo tempted.

@ANP2020 @SkeletonSkins sorry to hear about the BFNs. I’m trying to hold off testing as long as poss so I can avoid disappointment. Think I’ll go and get FRERs from boots after work today ready to start testing at the weekend, will I be able to resist though? 😂

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing love your name, are you referring to my cat? 🙄 noisy bastard. Sorry I can’t see anything on the test, but then again I’ve not seen anything on some of these posts on other forums and other people have. Keep testing, early days!

@D0nd361u I am very similar to you with tiredness and nausea but not boobs hurting and no spotting. Wondering if it’s all in my head, but I woke up in the middle of the night convinced I was PG. so maybe it’s a sign or maybe I’m going mad haha.

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing that's the same age gaps as mine. My 5year is actually 5 in just over a week and youngest is just about 3.5.

I think i can something on both yours and @SkeletonSkins.... Really hope they turn into nice colourful lines in the next few days

@D0nd361u oh this does sound promising 🤞 I especially love that the spotting stopped, if that's implantation then you should get a reliable result within the matter of days! Keeping everything crossed for you!
