[ANP2020]

Hello ladies!

I’ve been reading these threads (at all hours clearly!) I just wondered if anyone was currently in their 2WW and wanted to join me? It’s so long!! I’m ttc number 2, have a 4 year old son, fell first time with him luckily so certainly not expecting the same this time round. This is our first cycle. I’m only using an app not any ovulation sticks so not sure how many days po I am, but According to app fertile window ended yesterday. AF due 21st I only have 24/25 day cycles since coming off my pill.

Anywhoo no symptoms yet as too early! I’ve had ovulation cramps and a few nights of very intense dreams. I think the only symptoms I can remember pre bfp with my son was really really sore boobs, couldn’t bare a bra on!! And really tired.

Please people join me to symptom spot and keep each other company during the 2WW.

Morning all, fairly sure I’m a BFN too. I can see SOMETHING but I think it’s just the silvery indent line that’s there to start with.

@ANP2020 to be fair I think I can see something but I’m not sure if it’s the grey line like mine? When’s your period due?

Lucky enough to be going to breakfast with my friend whose pregnant this am.. so guess there will be lots of pregnancy talk!
@SkeletonSkins I think it’s the silvery line on my test or if o stare at it long enough I duplicate a second line in my mind!! However on your second one in the really good lighting I can see a clear line!

I wasn’t as upset about the BFN as I thought I would, I guess because there’s still hope as I’ve tested early.

Very upset about my OH’s reaction though, which was completely absent, no reaction at all. Given it’s cycle #1 for baby #1 I’m really hurt about his lack of care and support in that moment.

@smiles39 yeah that’s true!! I guess because there is still a chance that you could be pregnant! Awww I’m sorry to hear that! I’m not sure if they just don’t get as emotionally attached to the prospect as us because they don’t symptom spot or anything so they just don’t seem to have the emotional rollercoaster! My OH didn’t even ask this morning if I’d done a test so I didn’t tell him!

Sorry to hear of so many negatives. I tested again yesterday and another negative. Going to try and wait now until AF is due before I test again but it's so tempting to keep testing and hoping isn't it!

I was in the pharmacy yesterday and they had loads of FRER. I bought 2 packets!

@smiles39 sorry to hear of that. Think it’s harder for men as they don’t go through the rollercoaster.

I am also sorry to see so many negative tests this morning. Onwards and upwards to next month!

I am pretty certain my AF is gonna arrive in a couple of days, it’s due either Sunday or Monday. I feel exactly like it’s about to as I do every month and in a pretty rubbish mood because of it. I’m not early testing as I know myself and know it would drive me insane so just waiting to see if AF arrives or not. Hopefully next month is more positive, though we are getting married on 25 March so it may not be ideal month not being able to have some champagne.

I got bfn in a internet cheapies. Think I'm coming to terms that I'm not pregnant and there won't be a 3rd baby for me. I just want to get af so I can move on now with a bottle of wine.

My PMS queasy feeling has started today and I'm miserable. So no doubt AF is on her way.

Not trying next month, as Christmas and have two lots of scans HSG and TV ultra sound to get in, so hopefully these will give some clues. I already had bloods done last month but didn't realise I needed an STD test to get the HSG. Had that now, so I'm good to go.

@smiles39 I’m sorry your OH wasn’t supportive. To be honest I don’t tell my husband most of it, he doesn’t know I’m even testing. I don’t think he’d get why I’m even testing now and would just tell me to wait, like it’s the easiest thing in the world. I do think men don’t ‘get it’ in the same way that we do. I’m so sorry you feel down, I think we all like to think that maybe it’ll happen first time and be really easy and then it’s a shock when it doesn’t. Wishing you lots of luck for your next cycle 💕

@QueenBee22 it’s soooo tempting. I’ve told myself I won’t for a few days now as I was a definitive answer but time is just going sooo slowly.

What did I even think about before I was TTC? What filled my brain all day? So distracted at work today, just can’t be bothered.

@Wheresmycustard ahh thank you, I can see something too but I think it’s the line that’s always there on FRERs. Googling seems to suggest it’s common. AF is due today though and still no sign. I’m only 10dpo so early days.

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing I feel exactly the same in terms of ticking clock, it’s such a horrible feeling. So sorry you’re struggling - sending some positivity your way.

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing This is our first one so very anxious and worried we may have left it a wee bit late (I’m 34). Know this is only cycle 2 though so seems a bit silly to worry so much when everything really might be fine. I really hope you get a bfp soon! I hope all the ladies on this thread do too.

Likewise, it’s not selfish to want another child at all. Positivity and good vibes 🤞🏾🤞🏾

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing I can relate. I wish I didn't long for a 3rd. Mostly as I know we'd probably never ttc a 3rd, so if this isn't it then it's not to be. Which is a really difficult pill to swallow.

Ahhh ladies I’m sorry to read how everyone is feeling today! It is too much of a rollercoaster!! I totally agree with the comment about what did I think about before haha!!! I literally have no idea! It’s all consuming! I google google google!
I have felt really down today! After my BFN this am I’m also coming to terms with that this month may not be my month and I feel a bit sad about it! I’ve been really tired today and just wanted to sleep I napped for a bit, settled down to do some overtime on the computer and just want to shut it and go back to sleep! Have a headache I can’t shift even with painkillers! But I think it’s PmS I also feel very grumpy haha!

@SkeletonSkins I managed to resist to urge to test today. I am determined to hold out now until AF is due in a few days.

I've tested at 7PO as if I would EVER even get a positive - obviously a BFN. just have a lot of pressure on myself this month but why why why i tested at 7DPO I really don't know

Started getting lower abdo cramps today 😔 so maybe AF for me too.

I’ve called OH out for being an arsehole so feeling better now we’ve talked it through. Turns out he was upset I’d tested without him, not excuse for being insensitive but I’m not perfect either (apparently).

We’re all in the same 2WW so maybe it’s just proof that testing too early isn’t the best idea. We’re all still in until AF arrives. 💐

Sorry to hear about the bfn so far but I suppose it is early days for us.
Yesterday I was 8DPO and did an internet cheapie in the evening.. bfn :( I did have some pain yesterday evening around my uterus, I don’t know what that means. Tempted to test this afternoon with a Frer but not sure if I should. Fingers crossed for everyone!

BFN for me this morning, looks like my lines were definitely indents. Just hope AF shows up soon now so I can try again.
