Trying for baby number 3

Me and my husband have just started trying for our 3rd baby this month. Probably being a little bit over enthusiastic but just wanted to create a thread for anyone else in the same boat and hoping for a BFP in the next 4-6 weeks 😃

Would be lovely to hear from people hoping for the same outcome very soon!

@HellsBellsK I tested last night when still had just pink spots and I thought a faint line, I think I'll see how this bleeding goes as my sister and MIL both had bleeds around periods throughout all pregnancies and this doesn't feel like AF. But im trying to just think it is and be positive but it's all consuming isn't it. Xx

We are on holiday in the Lake District at the minute and it's been a welcome distraction from thinking about baby making!

My fertile window starts tomorrow with ovulation apparently happening on Friday (according to app), but trying to not let it overshadow our holiday and not putting too much pressure on ourselves.

And yes @Holly3 it's a complete minefield! So sorry to hear AF has turned up for you. Welcome @Maybebaby7 hope your wait for a positive test isn't too far away xx

I've not checked in for a while, hope everyone doing ok.
My clearblue opk results still blank this month on cd11. I was high on them on CD10 and 11 last month. I'm pleased in a way as wanted a longer follicular phase this month for a better chance at a good egg but we go to London for 3 nights and staying in a premier inn family room on weds so now really scared I'll ovulate at completely the wrong time this month and we'll miss out! Nothing ever goes to plan right?!

Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet, 100% pregnant but already been in a&e for fluids and antisickness med.

Currently trying a few different tablets to try and settle the sickness. It’s a bit of a mental minefields, very much a wanted a baby but i feel so guilty as I just want the sickness to end.

I also got a BFP today. 2-3 weeks came up on clear blue test so not sure when I'm due!

Anyone else waiting to test?

@HellsBellsK Congratulations on your BFP. Patiently waiting to test over here, AF due 3rd March 😩 seems like a life time away! Think I'm going to test with a FRER on Sunday 🤞

Congratulations @HellsBellsK! I'm hoping all these BFPs mean it's easier to get pregnant by the time it's the third

I'm due to test on the 6th. Very tempted to test early but with my first pregnancy I tried testing early every month except the month I fell pregnant, so now I'm superstitious about testing early 😂

It was the 3rd cycle for us and still surprised as we only managed to DTD once on ovulation day!

Hopefully baby sticks around. In 2018 I also got pregnant with #2 and my due date was the 31st Oct same as this one if going by my period but I had a miscarriage so trying to get that out of my mind.

@HellsBellsK How many DPO were you when you got your first BFP?

I'm trying to keep myself busy 🙈 the only thing I've noticed in this tww is I seem to have a clear cm near enough everytime I wipe from going to the loo whether thats before or after it's there 🤔 not sure whether increased cm is a thing in early pregnancy?

@allthingssparkly when i was pregnant with DS2 I had lots of CM in my TWW.

I have no idea what dpo I am having never got a pos OPK. Im somewhere between 2-4dpo… assuming I ovulated. This morning I have a pin point pain right in my right groin.

I swore I wouldn’t symptom spot!!! I’m occupied this week as my mam is here visiting from up north, I’m sure by Friday I’ll be POAS as a potential 7dpo. I’m such a fool!!!

@Mummyme87 Ahh, fingers crossed it's promising for me 🤞 it's not something I've had in other cycles, so hopefully it's a sign 😊

@allthingssparkly I have that at the moment. Keep thinking I will see blood when I wipe but it is clear CM. Fingers crossed for you!

My period was due last Saturday the 20th and I just did a test today. I have had CP in the pass so try and hold off as long as possible - crazy I know.

@HellsBellsK Ah it's very unusual for me to have this cm after ovulation hopefully it maybe a sign of pregnancy 🤞🤞

I also have CM too, normally get EWCM when I ovulate then nothing but seem to be getting a lot still 🤞🏼

I've had some random pink spotting the last two days, only finished AF a week ago, so no idea what that's about. It's not something I've had before

Dh had a little wobble about number 3 again last night. We're both just struggling so much to work out what's for the best

I dreamt I had a BFP last night. It’s all consuming!!!
3-5dpo today, feeling quite achey in lower back and pelvis. I have one tender boob also which I’ve had for two days, but I get that in TWW anyway

We're at similar points @Mummyme87, I'm about 4dpo. I also have tender boobs. But I don't think this is our month, I'm starting to feel tired and irritable as standard for the week before AF and with my other pregnancies I had no symptoms at all in the TWW. No pregnancy ones but also no PMS ones. But we'll see.

Good luck everyone already in your 2ww this month. I'm on CD13, DTD this morning and just got the first flashy smiley of the cycle on CB OPK this eve. Only prob is we are in a premier inn family room with our 9 and 12 year old until saturday! Argh! Does anyone else use CB OPK? How long after your first flashy smiley do you usually ovulate? Last cycle was our first using them and I first got flashy morning of CD9 and think I ovulated CD13. Not sure it will be that long between this time with it being later on in the cycle. Will test again in the morning and might need to book a 2nd room!

I tested twice this morning with OPK's from Home Bargains, one at 8am and one at 9.45am and they both have really strong lines! 🤔

I did OPK testing with the easy at home ones from CD7 to CD15 then I ran out so I didn't bother re ordering but from the easy at home ones it appeared I got my strongest line on CD11 so if I ovulated the day after on CD12, and I'm CD21 today that makes me 9DPO.

However I'm just so lost as to why I've got pretty strong OPK tests 8 days before my period 😬 Me andy partner have dtd today too, just Incase! 🙈
