Trying for baby number 3

Me and my husband have just started trying for our 3rd baby this month. Probably being a little bit over enthusiastic but just wanted to create a thread for anyone else in the same boat and hoping for a BFP in the next 4-6 weeks 😃

Would be lovely to hear from people hoping for the same outcome very soon!

I think I'm ovulating anytime/have just ovulated 🙈 so I've now got to endure the TWW, NIGHTMARE! Hopefully it brings bfps to some of us! ⭐🤞⭐🤞

I might be tempted to test a week today 😬 not sure though, I might wait until AF is due. I normally get spotting a good 3/4 days before AF on and off so I'll probably have a hint either way in about a week 🤞🏼

I'm cdep today and no sign of AF plus a few funny symptoms so I thought I'd do a test but I think it's a negative. I've been staring at it too much 😆 I think a positive would show up stronger now so trying to remind myself of that ☹️

Hello, cycle day 14 here. I first posted saying DH and I struggle to find time to dtd lol.

This weekend is the start of my 'fertile window' so have said to DH we've got to do it every other day for the next week or so, and have suggested more morning bonks as it's so easy to pass if you're feeling a bit knackered on an evening. Here's hoping it's our month 🤞

@ThatsNotMyMuffin I can't see anything but you never know. I think with DC1 I didn't get a positive until 17dpo

CD16 here, got peak on CB OPK yesterday lunchtime so booked an extra room at the premier inn we were in and told the kids we were having a drink in the bar for half an hour! (They are 9 and 12 so fine to be left with phones and TV for a bit!)
Home now so think we'd best give it another try tonight too!
Does anyone temp and know how long after positive OPK you usually ovulate? Last cycle I got strong one sided pain the day after peak on CB but this cycle is more general cramping and has been going on a few days so not sure how long it might be?

I'm officially now in the TWW at 1DPO. We've been to the Lake District and didn't get to DTD as often as we would've liked but hopefully done it enough to be successful 🤞 I haven't read through the entire thread, it's gone through the roof since I was last on but sending lots of love and hope to everyone xx

Ov’d on Friday but only managed 1 bd on Wednesday so probably not my month. Sending love to all in TWW. Trying not to symptom spot!

We're really struggling to dtd this month. Kids aren't sleeping well, 3yo has started having nightmares, so we're too knackered most evenings. I think if we don't get lucky this month we'll skip next month to avoid another December baby

My AF came today, always a bit of a relief alongside some obvious disappointment. My cycle was only 24days this month with earlier ovulation. Not sure why

Hi! Long time lurker first time poster, hope it's okay to join. We are TTC no 3, 3rd cycle. Had CP last month and AF due next Weds. just had smear test and nurse said she could see blood in my cervix so feeling v deflated (although holding out hope it's implantation bleed?!) CP is v confusing - not sure if bleed is considered period or not? Congrats on those BFPs! 🎉

I had discharge that I wouldn't normally get after ovulation, and was also soooo so irritable a lot sooner than I normally would be with PMT. I had some dull aches/minor period type pains around a week before AF due, again would normally get these later. I also normally get spotting 3-4 days before my period comes and didn't have that. Nausea too on and off this week but not sure if that's just been nerves

Think I’m 6DPO and not really any symptoms yet. Though I thought I had loads last cycle and didn’t get pregnant so not reading much into that! Feel a lot more chilled about it this cycle, it was definitely all consuming last month so glad I’m feeling not as stressed this month

@Holly3 I'm feeling okay at the moment, 6DPO today and due on my period a week on Sunday so gonna wait to test then. I did a test yesterday god knows why, just sheer impatience but nothing I don't think.
I've got some back pain today and CM too but trying not to read too much into it. How are you?

Welcome @martinamkm great to have you on board! Sorry don't know what CP means?

We might have managed to DTD once around ovulation this month. One of my best friends has just announced her second pregnancy. Her first is only a few weeks younger than my second and we had all these lovely plans to see each other regularly during her mat leave and then we went into lockdown a few weeks after they were born. So part of me feels if I have another now we could have that time together that we didn't get last time. But also know that's not a good enough reason to have another baby
