Continuation of our last thread…

All of us TTC and in different cycles and stages of our journey.

Helping eachother through the TWW, through the confusing days of OPK/BBT testing and charts, through all of the symptom spotting, the dreaded arrival of AF and the BFP announcements! 😊✨

January was a very lucky month for some who got their BFP and some of us are ready to make February our month!

With giggles and lots of support along the way.

Ooh I wonder if we will all be different dates this month?! Also what's the betting I cave and test at 10/11 DPO haha

I'm testing the day after @Pops100 We're out celebrating our anniversary on the 5th so even though it's a bit early (I think I'll be 10DPO then), I'm imagining what it would feel like to get good news and share it on that day! And if there isn't good news at least I'll be able to distract myself with a fun day out.

I've got my FRER at the ready..!

If this isn't my month, I think I'm going to arrange an appointment with the GP. For a few months now I've noticed a couple of days after expected ovulation, I feel a heaviness and dull cramping. If it was in the week leading up to my period that would be expected, but from what I understand it's quite early to be having PMS symptoms so could be something else. I have very heavy periods for the first two days and more intense cramping pain, but not debilitating. I'd just like some peace of mind from a GP - it's so hard to tell if I'm just hyper-aware of everything now I'm TTC or whether there's something else going on.

Yes I'm realising I have a relatively long cycle @SMD16 😤 excited for the people whose test day is coming up ❤️

@Bluets how long have you been TTC for if you don't mind me asking?

@SMD16 Firstly oh my goodness your dog is so cute! Some really top notch nappy'ing there too.

Don't mind at all! For 3 cycles we weren't preventing pregnancy, although I know we were roughly timing up with my fertile week. Now 1 cycle tracking LH with OPKs, so 4 in total.

I know that is really not long at all but it's something that has been at the back of my mind for a while and I don't want to ignore an instinct if that makes sense?

Sorry about AF @Newbiemg and @FastFish1993. Hoping mine comes today and then we can be cycle triplets! No cramps yet, but I’m sure she’s not far off.

Thanks for starting the new calendar @lakejupiter! My test date will probably be Feb 28 at the earliest.

If you have some concerns, definitely chat to your GP @Bluets? It could be ovulation symptoms maybe? I don’t get anything myself really, but some friends get bad cramping like period pain around ovulation.

Hey everyone- I hope all your Mondays were good? My work Monday was diabolical... lots of mistakes made by other people and I was the one who had to sort them all out 🙄

@Newbiemg sorry to hear af came. Hope you are ok 🤍 the ups and downs that go along with our cycles are hard work, luckily I haven't cried again!

I am 11dpo today, af due Wednesday. I don't have any symptoms so not feeling it this month at all. xox

@Bluets I think always trust your instincts even if nothing is wrong it’s better to put your mind at ease. Hope it all goes ok for you.

Sounds like a nightmare Monday @MrsYan! AF didn’t arrive over the weekend but cramps are kicking in now, so joining @Newbiemg and @FastFish1993 on CD1! Hopefully AF stays away for you this month. So impressed that your experience managed to stay away from the tests!

@MrsYan don't rule out till af shows! I've heard loads of people say they didn't experience any symptoms at all including no implantation bleed.

@5manc thank you lovely!! Back home now from a lovely weekend and back to reality.

Had cramps all day yesterday with a headache and cramps again today... hoping these are all good signs and not the wicked witch arriving!

@Pickles91 AF is so annoying. What cycle is this for you? Af is due Wednesday so if she comes, I will just be a couple of days behind you, @Newbiemg @FastFish1993.

Thanks so much everyone, it feels good to talk and I really appreciate your replies. I feel somewhat unburdened! I had been thinking it might be ovulation pain but it builds until my period so who knows (hopefully a Dr!)

Hi all wondered if I could jump onto a lovely thread?! 1st month TTC with AF due this Sunday - 9-10DPO told myself I wouldn’t test before AF was late but it’s killing me!! Think I’m also convincing myself I have symptoms experiencing sore boobs and cramps! Any advice on distractions?!

Thanks you @Bluets! Yes, hopefully a GP can shed some light. I’ve had ultrasounds and bloods for various other things, and i must say, it’s just nice to know what’s going on so early in the journey and have people to bug with questions!

Hi @Emma543! Haha I think a lot of us know that feeling! Distractions… I don’t have many of those. When I knew I really shouldn’t test, I just peed first thing really fast to get rid of that prime testing FMU 😂 hopefully your symptoms are for all the right reasons!

@Newbiemg I'm good thank you. No symptoms or anything apart from cramps in my pelvis/thighs that last about 15 minutes and happen every night - so weird! Midwife said that's normal though 🤞 Ovulation on Valentine's Day - perfect timing and perfect time to make the most of it haha xx

@Pickles91 not yet! We are waiting for family to visit so we are telling my boyfriends parents this weekend and mine in 3/5weeks when we next see each of them! Splits up the excitement at least! 😊 xx

@beatingheartbaby I was the same with last month which was my first cycle but it will come when the time is right! Just don't over think it is the best thing I can suggest, the more you think about it the more stress you put on your body. X

It's so hard isn't it! Keep trying to tell myself it's only been 1 month and not stress too much!

@MrsYan I am 7dpo now , also don't have any symptoms except cramps & headache again today but not sure if anything related as I do get them quite often but trying to stay positive🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Im having a really bad AF. Much heavier than normal and my cramps are really bad. That along with the fact it came early and my luteal phase was too short I’m wondering if it’s something I’ve done last cycle…

It’s hard to know if it’s the supplements I’ve taken or changes to my diet or if it’s just one of those things and I had a weird cycle. I keep thinking do I change things for this new cycle or just see what happens. Confusing times lol

Where is everyone in their ttc cycles?

I’ve started BBT testing and waiting for AF to go away so I can start back on the OPKs.
