Continuation of our last thread…

All of us TTC and in different cycles and stages of our journey.

Helping eachother through the TWW, through the confusing days of OPK/BBT testing and charts, through all of the symptom spotting, the dreaded arrival of AF and the BFP announcements! 😊✨

January was a very lucky month for some who got their BFP and some of us are ready to make February our month!

With giggles and lots of support along the way.

I feel like I need a focus so I’m glad I can start testing something lol. I want to see people’s opks etc so I can be excited for you 😂 distract me!

@Newbiemg I'm in the TWW! Will be 9DPO tomo and although very early might be tempted to test🤞

@Newbiemg sorry to hear about af causing you so much trouble 👿 , what new supplements did you start?

I'm in the tww , 7dpo 🤞🏼 don't really feel any different except a few cramps that seem to be there one day and then go then come back & have had a really bad headache today but not sure if it's related,

I was 10DPO when AF arrived so I didn’t even get time to test as I only had a 9 day luteal phase and a 26 day cycle. Usually my cycles are 30 days and my luteal phase is atleast 14 days.

The supplements I took that were different to my first cycle were well woman and EPO. I’m not sure if it’s anything to do with that or maybe it could have been the stress of ttc or just a random weird cycle.

I think I will just have to see what happens this cycle and hopefully it goes back to normal and If it doesn’t I’ll see my GP.

I am currently 12dpo, I have started spotting so know AF is on the way. I have been very very tearful today because of it, I feel really down. This was cycle 5 and I think hitting 6 months next cycle is just a lot.

I had a good cry to DP, he's told me to not be so hard on myself- it will happen when it happens yada yada yada. Yep that's all well and good but it's not helping me right now feeling sad and having these raging hormones. I will agree with him in a couple of days but right now... not what I want to hear. I feel like giving up but I can't because I WANT IT SOOOO MUCH.
Sorry for moaning- I will be back to my positive self in a few days. I'm going to go write in my manifestation journal some more as it obviously didn't work last month 😩🙄 xx

Don’t give up! It will happen for you and we are all here for you whenever you need to chat or vent.

How are you tracking your ovulation? Do you temp or use OPKs? Are you taking any supplements?

@mrsyan oh I'm so sorry, it's so tough navigating TTC and all the emotions that come with it. Today can be a day for tears ❤️

@newbiemg why oh why do we get thrown these curveballs for no discernible reason?! I took Pregnacare 'before conception' and it extended my cycles by a number of days. I now stick to my usual multivitamin and take an extra folic.

I'm in the TWW, testing on Saturday. Not holding out much hope as I have the exact pre period symptoms I always have. We shall see!

@Newbiemg oh okay well like you said hopefully it will just be soemthing simple that'll sort itself out next cycle 🤞🏼🤞🏼, I can't be much help as don't have much experience with even my own cycles as was on the pill since the age of about 13 and I'm 24 now but agree that a trip to the drs may help if it's not sorting itself out.

@MrsYan I understand but like others have said, keep talking about how you feel on here because hopefully that'll help calm down your worries.

OH radiotherapy start date has come through 21st of this month.. 33 sessions everyday for 61/2 weeks except he has weekends off. Fingers crossed I can give him some news over next few days ... by the way I just cooked a carbonara and could only eat a few mouthfuls, could be nothing but im a right foodie🤨🤨🤨🤨.

@MrsYan sorry forgot to answer your question! I would like to wait for AF but no full well I won't 😂 I am 10DPO on Friday I believe so will then or might wait till Saturday but again I doubt it 🤣🤣

New to posting (but been lurking for a while). Been TTC (well, trying but not trying) for about a year now - decided to properly try last month. Currently nearing end of TWW (AF due Friday). Symptom spotting like mad! Sore nipples from around 3dpo that lasted 5 days. Also had sharp twinges in my abdomen around then too. Both subsided, but have had the worst indigestion for the past 4 days (almost vomited with it today) constipation and today I've had AF-like cramps. Not testing yet, but got fingers crossed it's pregnancy and not PMS 🤞

@Pops100 @Bluets I think I may go back to just simple multivitamin and folic too this cycle and see what happens. TTC is always throwing curve balls I agree. I’m confused all the time lol

Welcome to the bus @beatingheartbaby! Sorry to hear about AF. Will you be trying OPKs or anything next month or sticking to going with the flow?

Gah sorry about the sucky AF this month @Newbiemg. Maybe the well woman? I think some of the pre-conception multivits can mess you up a bit. I haven’t tried any mind, so not talking from first-hand experience. I’m on CD2 now so looking forward to starting cycle 2 soon! Staying away from BBT for now, but curious to see how you get on! It might be another thing to try post-wedding, like EPO. And maybe soy isoflavones. And baby aspirin 😂

@MrsYan thank you! Sorry about the spotting. I get that pre-AF too and it sucks. But I was reading a bus ages ago when I was being nosey about starting TTC and one woman on there spotted every month before AF and even spotted before her BFP, so it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re out 🤞🏼 And if the witch does show her ugly face, 6 months is still early. You got this!!! Vent as much as you need. We’re in this together 💪🏼

@Pickles91 hrm I'm not sure, I need to look into hrm the OPK thing a bit more. I was using Ovia but the AF predictor was obviously off this month so I'm not sure how accurate it's actually been.

And yes! Love Emily in Paris haha I need a series 3 already

I use Ovia too @beatingheartbaby, but two wonky cycles threw my dates off. Started OPKs last month and began tracking in the Premom app and it was bang on with AF’s arrival date! Despite logging ovulation, Ovia didn’t change my predicted AF date, which was a bit annoying. I like the little tips and facts that come on that app though. It’s so trial and error this TTC business

On CD9. Nothing to report here except I got no sleep last night because my cat ate a whole bird then was really sick everywhere, and couldn't get back to sleep. Started OPKs and temping yesterday. Inseminations planned for Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday, and all my apps predict ovulation Thursday but will see what OPKs say...

@Pickles91 yes fingers crossed please!!! I was stupid last night and tested even though I knew it was gonna be negative as I was only 7dpo... why do we do this to ourselves 😂😂 I was sure I could see the faintest line and then oh was like 'umm no I don't think so Beth' 🤣🤣🤣

@Pops100 I think most of us have given in and done that lol… wait a few more days and test again 🤞

@lakejupiter does your BBT fluctuate abit during AF? I started tracking BBT on CD1. Im CD3 today and my temp rose abit.

I'm good thanks, not really done a lot as I'm off work and have been since middle of December with looking after the oh , with the risk of covid around work I'm basically signed off till he gets back on the mend.

Hello all! CD10 here and got a flashing smiley this morning so my fertile window is starting early I guess? Apps say my fertile window is CD 13-18 and I should ovulate on CD18 but I'm thinking it might be coming sooner this month. Inseminations planned for CD14, CD15 and CD17.....

I weed on a stick at 7DPO too @Pops100 - whyyyyy do we do it to ourselves - at least we can share here and laugh at ourselfves gently 😂 hope you get your BFP soon! When will you test again?

@lakejupiter I had 8 days of flashing smiley in cycle 1 and 9 days in cycle 2. How many do you usually get?

@Newbiemg thank you yeah he's not too bad at the moment , pretty much seems like his normal self! Sounds like a good day, we watched a series recently called something like 'the woman on the street watching the girl next door ' and it's soooo good , deffo recommend it 👍🏼👍🏼
