Continuation of our last thread…

All of us TTC and in different cycles and stages of our journey.

Helping eachother through the TWW, through the confusing days of OPK/BBT testing and charts, through all of the symptom spotting, the dreaded arrival of AF and the BFP announcements! 😊✨

January was a very lucky month for some who got their BFP and some of us are ready to make February our month!

Hello hope you don't mind me jumping in I've been lurking from afar!
Congrats on your engagement @Pops100 lovely pic with the doggies!

I'm CD 35, expected my period on Thurs but had nothing... Had sore boobs and cramps for the past week but trying not to get my hopes up! I think I'm about 13 or 14 dpo but not sure because I haven't been properly tracking. I've got a frer test coming tomor 🤔😩

@Pickles91 ah no, sorry to hear about the spotting. Did AF come in the end? I hope she stayed away.

I am 10dpo, my boobs have been so sore but today are feeling less so, so I'm obviously now thinking that's me out! Bloody boobs 🙄 I cried this morning too because DP told me how many calories were in the meal he cooked last night, not sure why I cried or why I care after I have eaten it lol but safe to say hormones are all over the shop. Does anyone else just cry all the time? I feel like it's just me, honestly feel like an emotional mess most of the time! Hope everyone has had good weekends x

@MrsYan I get certain parts of my cycle where I get bad anxiety. I think it’s just all the hormones playing with our emotions.

Sorry if I’ve missed anyone’s messages! Had a busy week and I’m trying to catch up.

9DPO for me. Cramps have stopped now. Just waiting for AF or to test now.

@Pops100 thank you. I've actually been through it before 6 years ago on the side of my neck, even have a scar from the removal haha. Was all good then so hopefully the same this time but everything is indicating to my thyroids I'm exhausted, all my skin is flaky and my eczema on my hands is horrendous. It's at the front of my neck where your Adam's apple would be, directly next to that. Got bloods on Tuesday so will find out more soon.

Nearly finished on AF and the dogs just come into her first heat today bless her.

Welcome @Bluets!!! I did exactly the same with the OPKs! Think I tested once a day til 4dpo just to be sure and then gave up. Holding pee and not drinking too much was too annoying 😂

I thought she was turning up but back to the old brown spotting @lakejupiter so probably have a day or so to go! It’s another two months til the wedding, so while a few drinks is still TBC, it does mean I’m even more likely to fit in the dress!! How’s your co-parent responding to the fertility test encouragement? It sounds like a great idea!

Sorry that you’ve been feeling under the weather @SMD16. Hopefully they can sort your neck out soon! Quite jealous you’re back to the more fun part of TTC. Waiting for AF is 😴 oh your poor puppy!

Is your power back @RMS0209?! Not exactly ideal, though a nice excuse to crack out lots of candles and blankets and relax a bit (for a short period of time obviously!!).

Hello @FastFish1993! How exciting! Hopefully AF stays away for you and that FRER comes back with a blazing positive.

She didn’t @MrsYan so the waiting continues. I so hoped I was back on my 28 day cycles but oh well! I cry constantly the week before AF, but it’s all the same hormones as pregnancy I think so could be a sign if that’s not a usual PMS symptom for you??

Poor pup I do wonder if they suffer with symptoms like we do, my girl deffo has mood swings 🤣🤣

@SMD16 sorry to hear this and hope it gets sorted out fast!! I had an ultrasound on a lump in my neck last year and was a miscellaneously swollen lymph node, hope yours is similarly uneventful ❤️

@Pickles91 waiting for AF is the worst 😤 I'm lucky that I don't get much spotting, just full flow from day one. Coparent has agreed to fertility testing after this month of TTC so trying to think positive for Feb. We start TTC again on Friday and planned inseminations a bit more spread out this time (Fri, Sun, Tue, Wed) in the hope of catching the egg. Some annoying logistics involved but worth it - last time I ovulated late (we tried on CD14/15/16 but didn't get my peak until CD17) and was so annoyed about it. This week my aim is to eat lots of veggies and get lots of rest and try to make sure the follicle/egg has a nice chill space to do her thing in!

Well I’m back to CD1 today. I woke up and AF has arrived so that’s me out. 26 day cycle and only a 9 day luteal phase so I guess I need to keep an eye on that now…

I had a feeling my AF was on her way early so I’m not too surprised but I am a little concerned about the short luteal phase this time.

On to cycle 3. According to my apps I’ll still be testing in Feb for this cycle so not ruling out Feb just yet

Didn’t even get time to test as today would only be 10DPO I’m not sure if that’s good or bad for my nerves lol

I am bored. Not got much to take my mind off the TWW. I'm on 2DPO. Going to purchase some tests to maybe start testing at 10DPO. Any recommendations?

Even though you expecting it still a shock to the system isn't it!
Maybe and hopefully it's just a one off and your body trying to confuse you and after AF leaves back to normal.
Strange with ovulating with a few days difference too.
I seemed to be like clock work last 2 months. CD14 ovulation cd29/cd30 for af
Don't think this month will be the same, confused Feb for the both of us 

I know really hoping it's just a few more days so I can still make my fertile window for this month, never thought I'd be having everything crossed to make AF leave!

Oh yeah I have used this tablet a few years ago when I was going away on holiday! Good reminder something to keep in mind
Something to bear in mind for next week if (hopefully) not need be!

@Newbiemg so sorry about AF and how frustrating about the short luteal phase! Def talk to a doc if it carries on being short as I think they can prescribe something and also do a progesterone test - I had one before Christmas to make sure I was ovulating.

@Cookiedough123 everyone seems to swear by First Response though I had a bit of a sad indent line experience w them last month. Easy@home do a sensitive home test too - got mine on Amazon.

I was expecting AF since 6DPO because Ive had all my normal AF symptoms but you still get that sudden sinking feeling when you see it and it’s confirmed but have to keep positive and hope for cycle 3… 3rd times a charm and all that lol

My luteal phase has never been too short before that I’m aware of so fingers crossed I just had a weird cycle.

My testing date for Feb will be the 27th… hopefully I make it there this time lol
