Soooo....@Minster2012 is letting the lunatics take over the asylum as she's handing over the driving seat to the passengers and having a well deserved rest after driving us around since June 2020!

@pennysays cycles were 8-10 weeks long before I had implants (from what I can remember), no bleeding in the 11 years I had implants. Removal was 2nd July and only just had first af on 1st feb so can't really answer the how regular are my cycle question.
I seem to be tracking opks on two different apps and have more tests from 15th which are very negative

@larrythelizard I'd take a baby any time. We never cared about that kind of thing
Christmas day, New Year's Eve, whatever.

@BellatrixK thanks. After trying for so long including with ovulation induction with follicle tracking and never once having as much as a squinter I have no hope about conceiving naturally.

My chart was definitely trolling me, temp drop today and AF arrived this morning 😩

I'm feeling surprisingly okay, DH has agreed to fill in the forms for the fertility clinic and I had an 27 day cycle with an 11 day luteal phase again so my cycles seem to be stabilising at least

I'm having an odd cycle this month, wondering if anyone has had anything similar, I'm currently CD18 and have a lot of EWCM however I already had some EWCM around CD13 which would be around the time i tend to ovulate so now I'm confused 😑

Hi all! Sorry about AF @polkadotpixie but glad you're getting the ball rolling with the forms and that cycle is stable.

I caved and POAS yesterday during the storm lol. I wasn't gonna test until at least 12dpo but had an FRER in my bag (am staying in Sussex dog sitting) and we had a power cut and I had nothing to distract me from the urge! BFN at 10dpo. Had another temp rise this morning but I still have four days until AF so there's time for it to drop (or not). Now have to decide if I test again before AF.

Hi @Minster2012 yes he did a home SpermCheck and it came back normal. I'm impressed he did it tbh but I did have to gently tell him that it only measures count not motility or morphology or anything. I'd love for him to get a proper SA next cycle, I'm having an ultrasound as part of my PCOS diagnosis next week so maybe that will encourage him lol.

@LoveQ I do think it's much more usual for ewcm to then def dry up after OV so I'd say it may be OV on the second lot? Best to cover anyway

@lakejupiter it's soooo hard to stay away from the sticks if you have them in. Well it's def a start for him which is great but yeah maybe a bit of cajoling necessary!

@Minster2012 yes I'm definitely going yo try and cover this lot as well, only issue is then it'd be far to late for implantation as my AF symptoms would usually start tomorrow 😑 we shall see I guess x

@lakejupiter DON'T TEST! You absolutely aced it last cycle and said yourself it was so much better for you not being crazy and POAS all the time. Channel 'you' from last cycle and wait it out...

Thank you @pennysays - yes it ruined my day yesterday and I was disappointed I broke a promise to myself! Will hopefully be able to wait it out. I'm also BBTing now which should make it easier to not test. I hope. Like either my temp will drop significantly the day before AF or it won't.

We've decided to wait for OTD to test so I can pretend for just a little while longer that I'm actually pregnant. Also agreed with DH that he'll be the one to check the test results as I can't bear to look at another BFN.

@Vil10 OTD is the 22nd - same as @becarefuloutthere's due date 😊 been very up and down with everything but not long to wait and find out now

@InkyPaper big hugs, it's a really tough time going through IVF so it's good you're being kind to yourself. Don't be scared to use the clinics offer of speaking to a therapist as well!

@LoveQ a second lot of EWCM isnt unusual somewhere around 5-9dpo for a day or so as it's caused by the secondary oestrogen surge @lakejupiter mentioned causes a sudden drop in temps too. Always best to DTD just in case though!

@InkyPaper completely get that, as I felt the same. Not knowing just allows you to believe it might be possible a little while longer! And that's why I didn't do it earlier, but then suddenly got the urge to a day early, as I wanted to be put out of my misery. I actually did the test and left it in the bathroom and went to the bedroom. Couldn't face staring at it and squinting for an imaginary line! When I went back I was shaking and fully expected it to be blank. I was already crying about it being negative before I got there. But I saw before I even got right over to it that it wasn't. And I think that shocked me even more! 🤣 Its not nice when you've never seen a line before, it just seems like torture. If OH is happy to do that, then that seems a sensible approach to it. 🤞🤞

Apparently there's about a 4 month delay on SA where I am in the country @lakejupiter (I don't know how centrally the tests are done), just a piece of info for you. BFN 👎🏼 but still time to turn.

Sounds like a great plan @InkyPaper and in reality no rush to test, just when you feel ready.

Oh interesting thanks @larrythelizard - as in NHS or private or both? We were thinking (I was thinking and then nagging) for coparent to go to Harley Street just bc I have a couple of friends who have used them for SA prior to home inseminations

In related news, I have a pelvic ultrasound on Thursday and I'm anxious about it! Has anyone had an investigative pelvic ultrasound? They said to arrive with a full bladder so they can try it abdominally but will prob need to be transvaginal. I will likely be on my period as AF is due on Tuesday. I'm hoping the person giving the ultrasound will be able to tell me a bit about what they see but I'm scared they won't tell me anything and I will have to see my crap GP to get the results (trying to change practices at the mo!)

Private @lakejupiter - my friend thought they'd be starting IVF in April but it's all delayed.
