Soooo....@Minster2012 is letting the lunatics take over the asylum as she's handing over the driving seat to the passengers and having a well deserved rest after driving us around since June 2020!

I'm sure she'll still be around and you can follow her on Instagram (Minstermusings) where a lot of passengers and ex-passengers have their own TTC or normal accounts too (just be careful not to out anyone on their non-TTC accounts!)

We have a fabulous history of BFPs on this thread since @Minster2012 took over and we need to keep it up...no slacking!

Anything goes and NOTHING is TMI on this bus! Whether you're doing it the old fashioned way or with some help from science, we're all waiting for those 2 pink lines and are here to support each other and try to stay (somewhat) sane along the way

Hi ladies 🙂 been away for a while as been dealing with some demons.. still am to be fair, awaiting some grief counseling too (at least a 2month wait!) Last cycle was over 6months which got me down again, but had a shock today after just a mear 53days af showed up! Maybe things are gonna get back on track? Who knows? Got a retail apprenticeship course starting soon via work which is giving me a bit of a boost. Been admiring from afar those of you I have on insta, but not quite been ready to come back on here yet, I'll probably be dipping in and out a bit but don't be offended if I suck at replying. Congratulations to all those bfps I've missed and hugs for anyone who needs one xx

Sunbird24 · 11/02/2022 22:05

Hey, am still lurking, just won’t have any news for a while yet as I’m waiting for genetic test results again. I’m moving halfway across the country for a different job within my company so need to move my last 2 embryos to a clinic nearer there. I did ask for the move as it started to feel like my failed pregnancies were overtaking my life here, and it was time for a bit of a fresh start with a team who know nothing about what I’ve been through so don’t treat me like I might break. I have some friends near the new place so happily will have some support network as it’s a lot further from my parents. Looking forward to it but naturally nervous!

Bundaberg84 · 12/02/2022 00:19

@pennysays I definitely will!

Minster2012 · 12/02/2022 08:16

@Sunbird24 so pleased you are loving closer to support & a fresh start 😘do they have any idea how long the testing will take?

@Dollybird89 we all send you love from here and hoping for shorter cycles! Love that you are throwing yourself into work & clearly doing well

@lakejupiter your CM matches the OV too so looks good?

Whoop whoop for Spain @Franklydear could
be just what you need & you know your boy is gold dust

MrsBiddy · 12/02/2022 08:39

@pennysays

Still here lol 😆 currently 11dpo and not tested yet 🙂

I now have been told to take thyroid medication x3 a week

That's where I'm at currently, been abit preoccupied atm as work want to axe 1,500 jobs, I've taken voluntary ver and will leave at the end of dec. so been trying to think about what I want to do and whether to try and do something creative as I'm sick of working in an office lol

Hope everyone else is doing ok x

Franklydear · 12/02/2022 09:05

@pennysays mine wants a sibling, he won’t be impressed by the baby stage but after toddler years, he’ll be thrilled, all his younger cousins love him to bits and he only sees them a few weeks a year, he’ll be my little assistant.
I always brag? about his achievements, it’s the only place where I can do it without looking like competion parenting, my friends with neurotypicals don’t understand the struggle, and the friends with autistics are usually so defensive, cos that’s how we live, that sounds like my child is better than yours, even when some of them praised him sounds as you have it easier, your struggles are not valid sometimes
@Dollybird89 heeeello darling, I was thinking about you the other day when someone send an axe on the post🥰 you now the rules, always welcome no matter how long is been, well done on the job
@Sunbird24 exciting new start, it might be just what we need
@MrsBiddy exciting new start for you too, you’ll find what you need

Me update, another heavy constant flow af, looks like things are finally tickling in the right place, probably will do 2 more cycles properly, after that we have decided on the snip, we don’t like condoms and I don’t want to get back on the pill, after the best part of 30 years on it, dh can asked that of me, so the snip it is, buuuuut he’s dragging his feet, he’ll look into it once we are done, and then sort it, book it, and I think it’ll take a couple of months to be effective, he wants this baby more than me, he’s move the deadline 3 times and after the final one it will still take some time.... I don’t know, his reasoning is that once pregnant after the first trimester he’ll have half a year to get it done so....no rush, thought we’ll be 45 and 47 at the end of this year so, we can’t carry on forever

lakejupiter · 12/02/2022 10:53

@Franklydear your little one sounds so lovely ❤️ And yay re: Spain

@pennysays @Minster2012 temp went up to 36.65 this morning which is a proper rise so I think I did ovulate just didn't get a huge rise immediately this month. I will feel better once I've had my pelvic ultrasound & endo appt I think - got the PCOS diagnosis just before first month of TTC and I'm on high alert about ovulation stuff - I stress that I'm not truly ovulating. Have a transvaginal ultrasound booked for 24th and will be good to know what's going on in there, what my ovaries/follicles look like etc.

larrythelizard · 12/02/2022 11:28

He's such a rockstar @Franklydear

That's lovely @pennysays ❤️

Glad to hear you're on the list for grief counselling @Dollybird89 - and a retail apprenticeship?! That's amazing, well done!!

Exciting @Sunbird24 is it a pretty part of the country you're moving to?

That's positive @MrsBiddy that you are getting treated. Also nice that the work world is your oyster!

That's good @lakejupiter that you have the app booked, all this is such a mystery so good to have actual data!

Sunbird24 · 12/02/2022 12:01

@larrythelizard it’s the East Midlands, so I’d say it’s not really pretty enough for tourism, but it’s not bad!

Franklydear · 12/02/2022 13:20

I've reopened my Etsy shop, it's called iknittedthis, if anyone wants anything, talk to me, what can I make you? @Minster2012 and others can testify that my stuff is lovely ❣️

lakejupiter · 12/02/2022 14:17

Update: coparent did a home Sperm Check test from Boots and it came back normal. I'm aware this only checks sperm count rather than motility or morphology but tbh I'm quite impressed that a) he did it and b) it was positive. Baby steps! (Literally).

In other news I have been caring for my one year old niece and it's both wonderful and fucking exhausting. And no time whatsoever to dwell on TWW which is good!

Will check out your shop @Franklydear 🧶

Dollybird89 · 12/02/2022 15:18

Quick question.. currently have excruciating stabbing pain in lower pelvic area.. is that normal when af is here? Never usually suffer with bad cramps only a dull ache. But it's that bad it's stopping me from doing anything.. comes in waves too

Franklydear · 12/02/2022 15:31

@Dollybird89 I get that but not always

JuniperAndTonic · 12/02/2022 17:24

Oh hello @pennysays, thanks for the tag and checking in. Got a BFP a couple of weeks ago so that’s why I haven’t posted! Trying to navigate all the anxiety after a loss!

Hope you’re all getting on well, sorry if this post is triggering for anyone but I’m really grateful for the check in 🥰

pennysays · 12/02/2022 21:55

@JuniperAndTonic wahhh! That’s so exciting! And there was me wondering if we had any BFPs for January. I think you might be our only one! (Sorry if I’ve missed others) we’ll now you can graduate to the side car. Lots of other passengers have experience pregnancy after loss.

pennysays · 12/02/2022 21:57

@Dollybird89 my cramps vary wildly. Sometimes they’re so bad I can hardly breathe. Other times they’re barely noticeable. But if it carries on, definitely get it checked out.

lakejupiter · 12/02/2022 22:14

Congratulations @JuniperAndTonic

larrythelizard · 13/02/2022 03:12

Congratulations @JuniperAndTonic!

larrythelizard · 13/02/2022 03:16

@Sunbird24 ok so not one of the most beautiful areas but not exactly ugly either! Deffo exciting!

LoveQ · 13/02/2022 08:33

@pennysays thanks for checking in, I'm on CD 12, have not bothered taking BBT or ovulation tests this month, fairly certain I'll ovulate CD 14/15 but because of our shifts we won't be able to DTD. I did ask him to sort himself out mid week so if we went ahead today it'd give us the best chance but hes all for "let's see what happens" and I'm finding that very frustrating 🤦🏻‍♀️

LoveQ · 13/02/2022 08:34

Congratulations @JuniperAndTonic 🥳

Franklydear · 13/02/2022 10:52

Congrats @JuniperAndTonic, we’re so happy for you, head up to the sidecar bus, lots of handholding for pregnancy after loss there, they’ll look after you, but still keep an eye on us, will you?
The friend I am meeting this week has message today she wants to put something on order for girl things, this might take grounding still, I will also visit the shop that wants to sell with a few things and made her a little purse for herself as a present
Cd 3 and af still here! The silver lining being that my periods seem to finally be normal, after over 2 years off the pill

becarefuloutthere · 13/02/2022 11:50

@JuniperAndTonic congratulations 🥳
@Franklydear good to hear the periods are sorting themselves out now!
@Dollybird89 hey 👋🏾 good to see you back! I always had pain periods but then got diagnosed and treated for endo. It'd be worth keeping a pain diary to see if a pattern forms.

Happy Sunday everyone 😊

paintfairy · 13/02/2022 12:55

@Dollybird89 lots going on. I hope the counselling helps but it's crap about the wait. The periods fingers crossed will get more regular! I dunno i had some months that were more painful than others but usually for me the cramps were mostly day 1. Sometimes went a bit into day 2. Then ok. The heavier the period the worse it was really? I was mostly able to take ibuprofen and carry on though (apart from when I was younger, it was awful).
@JuniperAndTonic congratulations!
@Sunbird24 welcome! I'm in the East Midlands! 😁
@Franklydear yes I can see why it would look like a competition if you were bragging to DS's friends mums etc. Hadn't thought of that. God everything is so difficult when you can't even be proud of your child! At least you can be here.

Somatronic · 13/02/2022 13:07

@JuniperAndTonic congratulations!

@Dollybird89 good to hear from you. I had extremely painful cramps last week with my period too. Very unusual for me to be in pain that bad, and painkillers didn't touch it. I assume if it's a once off it's no big deal but if there's a pattern definitely check it out.

@franklydear congrats on the shop! Your creations are lovely.

@lakejupiter that's good re coparent's tests, so long as he doesn't use it as an excuse to put off doing the proper sperm analysis. My husband has his on Friday. This will be his third despite them all coming back fine. It's interfering with my ovulation date which is so annoying but we might be luccy and manage to cover it.

I've been listening to an IVF podcast which is so helpful. I feel like I might know what I'm doing nearly! Still no word from the clinic 2 and a half weeks after they said they'd call.
