Soooo....@Minster2012 is letting the lunatics take over the asylum as she's handing over the driving seat to the passengers and having a well deserved rest after driving us around since June 2020!

I'm sure she'll still be around and you can follow her on Instagram (Minstermusings) where a lot of passengers and ex-passengers have their own TTC or normal accounts too (just be careful not to out anyone on their non-TTC accounts!)

@Somatronic the bedroom is some idiot idea DH would come up with. But then barking dogs isn't ideal how do you cope with that all the time? Would drive me crackers.
He could just say- look I'm in the bedroom and wouldn't be usually, but its quieter in here due to barking dogs next door. They won't think twice about it.

@paintfairy well I only work from home 2 days a week so I don't mind them as much but DH is home all the time so they drive him mad. He talks about killing them several times a week haha. He has headphones I think and when he works at the front of the house it's not too bad. I'm taking the advice of the wise women on the bus and letting him do what he wants on this one anyway. And thanks @franklydear for being so kind!

We have an embryo!!!!!!!! They said it was outstanding and will be transferred later!!!!!!!

There are two more that it's a little early to tell, so they'll be checking them later on today and possibly will recheck tomorrow morning to see if they grow and are good enough to freeze 🤞🤞🤞🤞

But we have one!! And that is all we need for transfer later!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

In case this incredibly specific detail is useful to anyone ever: those long thin plastic bags that come with lateral flow tests are perfect for transporting liquid gold aka PreSeed and round ended syringes - fits a tube, a syringe and an applicator perfectly. Paranoid the tube was going to leak in my bag!

@Somatronic I can see why you'd think like you do, if I hadn't spent the last 2 years working pretty much only from home peering into peoples homes via video I would think the same!

@Somatronic for my short protocol it was roughly that you had to call them on cd1 to get yourself in for a scan the next day and if everything looked okay you'd start meds that day. I think with mine they were aiming for CD10 collection but obv depends on how well you react to it.

As for the bedroom interview situation - it depends a bit on your OH I'd say as it could be a great icebreaker? I did all my interviews last year in our horrible kitchen (pic of background wall attached) and it was a great way of making people laugh by ensuring them that I was in fact not sitting in a sauna.

@lakejupiter yay for static! Sounds like you'll have excellent coverage this cycle! What CD are you now, seems you ovulated sightly earlier this cycle no?

Im not 100% sure I've ovulated yet tbh - had a lower OPK this morning and a tiny temp rise (still much lower than my luteal phase temp last month) but didn't get my static smiley until last night. Last month I got a peak on CD17 and ovulated CD18 and this month got my peak on the night of CD16 and am now on CD17. Either way, more sperm tonight!! 🎣 🥚 and probably some difficult POAS action on the train lol.

But agree it could be a nice icebreaker @Somatronic! DH LOVES pistachio ice cream & yes it's pretty rare round here, though I though that one tasted more marzipan

@lakejupiter more tonight then that would be great coverage! And I've POAS in some very weird & wonderful places, I guess you may just need a wide receptacle on a train (like an ice cream tub?!) plus I've found LOADS of uses for those plastic bags from lateral flows, most recently storing the paintbrush in between coats of paint...it was only a matter of time before they got a good use in TTC!

@Minster2012 yup that's my sexy wall! Pistachio ice cream is one of my favourites but I hardly ever find it! Egg nog/advocaat ice cream is another one but that's even harder to find 😂

@lakejupiter that's good that ovulation hasn't happened yet - sounds like tonight's insemination will be perfectly timed
