Soooo....@Minster2012 is letting the lunatics take over the asylum as she's handing over the driving seat to the passengers and having a well deserved rest after driving us around since June 2020!

All good here. Inseminations went well, trusty vibrator and Ferti Lily combo worked well to prevent sperm lake situation. Finding the syringes easier though it's impossible to not get some air bubbles up there. Oh well. Now on CD15, have flashing smileys and slowly darkening OPKs but no peak yet. Have a bag packed so I can just head to coparent's either tomorrow or Weds once I get a peak so we can get a 3rd go in! Not being able to inseminate on peak or O day last month really haunted me!

@lakejupiter gosh the travelling and trying to match up dates sounds tough. Fair play to you both. How far away from you does he live?

@Minster2012 I'm not sure to be honest. I'll just use OPKs and hope my mad cycles do me a favour for once! And I hope your dog is OK!

Yes it's not ideal @Somatronic - we love about 80 miles apart at the moment. Hopefully that will change soon but, as with the SA, I'm trying to not be too pushy/bossy about things!!

@Franklydear I think filming might have been too much whilst holding her lead & shoving a pot underneath her when she finally couldn't hold it any more whilst she went "wtf you doing woman?" And trying to jump away whilst still peeing

Finally catching up! My Grandma in in hospital now so hopefully they can help but she's really not well, she's not been well for months and has lost a lot of weight but really deteriorated this last week and stopped eating and drinking and was sleeping constantly. My Mum thinks she's going to get better but I'm not so sure

@InkyPaper Keeping everything crossed for your 4 fertilised eggs. When do you get another update?

@lakejupiter Glad you're finding the fertilily easier, I still can't get on with it. Going to try again tonight though

I think today is ovulation (CD16), we've done CD14 & CD15 and will do tonight as well. We also had a go at self insemination on CD12 as I wasn't well and I wanted to make sure I was getting fresh sperm around ovulation 😂 It was surprisingly easy and takes the pressure off a bit so might do it again in future

@polkadotpixie I’m so sorry to hear about your grandma. It’s such sad news.
Well done though on covering your peak- you’ve done so well, especially with the illness and insemination anyway.

@lakejupiter so glad that the peak is coming. You’ve done well to cover so much of it, especially being apart. I would be the same: determined to cover it.

We are in sync! And always nice to hear someone else is doing home insemination sometimes - I can imagine it does take the pressure off. I don't have anything to compare it to but I do like being left alone to do my thing lol.

I think the Fertilily can be really tricky. I def find the turn it inside out method works best and helps me feel like I'm pushing any sperm right up there. And then I use two fingers to hold it in place whilst pulling the string to make it right side out. It's also been a crash course in "where the fuck is my cervix" (answer: much higher up than I thought and often at a jaunty angle)

@polkadotpixie I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother.

@minster2012 I sent them an email just now asking what the story is. I'm getting impatient now.

@polkadotpixie I hope your grandma gets better! My husband's grandma was a bit like that, started not eating right and forgot to drink and was starting to detoriating. She had to go to the hospital and then to a care home, and she was much better! It's so important to be hydrated, especially in that age!

@BellatrixK how many dpos are you now?

@Bundaberg84 I’m 9 or 10dpo I think. I got my static on the Thursday but I think I ovulated on the Saturday.

@lakejupiter that sounds complicated, but I’m similar to you I think. I love to know that I’m doing what I can.

@BellatrixK cd 22 probably 9-10 dpo, back to work today, really tired and achey but good to be out, I pushed for a formal return to work meeting and made some demands, shorter days and more help for a while, assistant manager assures me they want to help me be there, cos it really helps the numbers but bossboy giving me a wide berth, not that I have any desire to sit with him

@BellatrixK yes stay away from the symptom spotting because it’s exhausting.

I’m 8dpo and still ignoring it. Temp went a bit higher today but that doesn’t mean much. No symptoms so I’m assuming it’s not happening this cycle. Feel better this time for not being a obsessive, poas nightmare.

Also my cycle app showed little clouds today meaning: “you’re going to hate your dp today”. Sure enough, he has borne the wrath of penny.
