Soooo....@Minster2012 is letting the lunatics take over the asylum as she's handing over the driving seat to the passengers and having a well deserved rest after driving us around since June 2020!

I'm sure she'll still be around and you can follow her on Instagram (Minstermusings) where a lot of passengers and ex-passengers have their own TTC or normal accounts too (just be careful not to out anyone on their non-TTC accounts!)

Good news bad news: good news transfer going ahead. Bad news only 9 eggs. All those follicles and only 9. Really sad about that, just hoping it's enough. Apparently common for women with pcos. Still on ward rn. Got put under for the thing so still kind of sleepy 😅 just need as many of those eggs to fertilise now 🙏🙏🙏🙏

@Franklydear I'm here...apologies, I'm a terrible driver! We've been having some family issues...my 89 year old Grandma has declined suddenly and we're having to juggle providing 24 hour care with FT jobs and childcare so it's all a bit manic 😩

@InkyPaper I'm sorry you're disappointed but 9 eggs is still 9 eggs, and the transfer going ahead is great! Hope you're feeling OK.

@franklydear Christ no I'm not a DUP voter haha. I live in the south where they don't stand for election but I absolutely can't stand them. They're playing fast and loose with democracy and peace which is absolutely deplorable behaviour.

My brother and wife wanted to spend the weekend in a hotel. Their 1 year old screams bloody murder all the time when she's not with mum. Even when my brother is with her she screams most of the time. I can't look after her and a 2 year old for a weekend on my own. DH can't come with me and my parents are away. These children don't know me very well either between Covid and me living far away. Also, I've been visiting both sets of in laws in the last 2 weeks and I want to spend a weekend not on the road.

@InkyPaper the problem with getting 30 eggs is that most are poor quality. So hopefully those 9 that you do have will have been taking all the energy and are good! I assume they are doing icsi? I did get 12 but only 8 were mature. Hopefully all of yours will be! So that's still pretty good. You only need 1!

I’ve been following, what else to do but politics when you’re poorly, and it is disgusting, not much different that Westminster, I am a new fan of Ian blackford, your brother will have to reschedule, my middle brother is the golden child, my mum also thinks I should drop everything when he wants something, luckily he’s quite a decent guy and his wife is golden so we just all say yes yes to her and do nothing

Health wise, I feel I’ve turned a corner, I don’t feel ill anymore, and all stars return to normal, I will still take the weekend off, sod it, doctor said this turns are quite normal for someone with my condition, that really has been no time at all since covid and I need to slow down, so on Monday I am going to lay it on thick that the company needs to care more if I am struggling and not let it get to my collapsing, help me stay in work, I am your best performer you thicko

@InkyPaper just wanted to say I know you are disappointed with the number compared to follicles but 9 is great...it's quality not quantity here like @paintfairy says. Don't forget each month those TTC tend to only have one egg to try & fertilise from however many follicles they may have had, many still get pregnant...and you've got 9 chances to get great fertilised embryos to hopefully end up with a fab number of chances. Stay positive lady ❤️

I hope that you are okay @InkyPaper. It seems like such an emotionally charged journey. People who know a lot more than I do seem to be very reassuring and pleased for you so I’m sure things will be wonderful. Let us know any updates, we are all here cheerleading for you.

It’s been such a hard week at work with late parents evening and grumpy children - more around school then in my classes, but it’s been draining. I am so so glad it’s Friday. I’m going on an impromptu tea out - just at a local pub and I’m very excited about that!

@Franklydear @Somatronic @paintfairy @Minster2012 @Manifestingbaby @BellatrixK thanks everyone ❤️❤️❤️ when I was messaging this morning I was just coming round from the sedation and was super emotional 🙈 they ended up bringing DH in because I wouldn't stop crying 😂 they thought it was probably a reaction to all the drugs! Apparently they found that a lot of the follicles had already ruptured before the procedure, hence the low number compared to the follicles. But apparently it's also very common for those with PCOS to have follicles that just contain fluid. They've got me on OHSS watch as they're taking a calculated risk with goin ahead with the fresh transfer. So I'll be having a go/no go scan on Tuesday to see if the transfer will go ahead (assuming everything goes right with the embryos). I should get a call tomorrow to tell me how many fertilised, so fingers crossed!

Congrats on the 9 eggs @InkyPaper & hope you feel okay post procedure! Last time I had anaesthetic I couldn't stop crying afterwards and it was just my wisdom teeth being taken out so not as complicated or emotional by any means!

@inkypaper @lakejupiter crying is allowed. The only time I was sedated for a procedure I reacted terribly and apparently attacked one of the medical staff. I have no recollection and was absolutely mortified when they told me. I remember seeing a girl I know in there the same day and she was screaming and bawling from the sedation so I guess it's pretty normal.

So I had the worst AF pain I've had in aaaages yesterday. Really bad pain and I felt absolutely exhausted for the entire day and night. So weird! Hopefully just a one off and nothing sinister. I feel much better today.

@paintfairy I meant sedation, although tbh it felt like I blinked and woke up in recovery 😂

Got a call from the clinic this morning. All 9 eggs were mature but only 4 fertilised, which was less than the clinic thought would fertilise. Just hoping one makes it to transfer day now. I know I should be happy we have 4 but now I'm terrified that none will make it and we'll have to start over again. We only get one round on the NHS in our area so that would be our round over and done with.

Back home now, it was only a coffee with dh, but it has cheered me up more than I thought

@InkyPaper I actually felt surprisingly normal after! I felt like I hadn't even been asleep, but I must have as I have no memory of them doing much. I felt good after, like I'd been on a night out. 🤣
All 9 being mature is amazing! Only 8 of my 12 were. It really is a numbers game! Only 5 of mine fertilised so I really don't think you'll have an issue where none make it to transfer day. The drop off is 50% on average. If you are lucky you'll get more. I was slightly unlucky and only had 3 of the 5 get that far, but 1 wasn't good enough to freeze by day 6. So only 1 to go in the freezer. But the fresh one worked! You only need one! 🤞 I too did worry I'd have none at all but it's quite unlikely, so try not to worry xxx

@InkyPaper congrats on the 4! I had 4 fertilise out of 8 mature I think. All 4 made it to day 5 and we froze 3 and transferred 1 which is due in about two weeks now! Good luck 🤞🏾
