Hello, just joining in. Partner and I have decided to NTNP. I still track my BBT because I hate not knowing when I'll get my period. FF hasn't confirmed OV yet, but I'm fairly sure it was either the 5th or 6th. Has LOTS of ewcm on the 5th with a slight temp drop and then a rise again on the 6th, and also dtd on the 5th.
I'm guessing AF due on 19th or 20th.

First time I've seen so much fertile CM since coming off BC last year. I would get little bits of it during my cycles in the lead up to ov, but this was a lot more, so maybe baby?

lottieb92 · 07/01/2022 12:06

Btw that was last cycle! And I wasn’t pregnant … it messed with my mind a LOT. So never worth the money for a blue… but I do love clearblue digitals. Nothing again those I have loads in the cupboard 🤣

ttcbabya · 07/01/2022 12:15

I knew I was out before I was officially out this month so the dreaded sight of AF didn't have its usual devastating effect on me this month, thankfully. I'm usually an emotional wreck and very bitter and angry when it arrives (horrible, I know).

I just wanted to say to all the ladies getting BFNs and having AF showing up. It's okay to feel devastated and I hope the prospect of trying again in your next cycle brings a glimmer of hope and comfort.

To the ladies who received their BFPs but then went onto experience losses, I'm sorry for the pain and disappointment you must be facing. With every new cycle you're closer to meeting your rainbow baby.

To the rest of the ladies on this thread, fx for your BFPs. As disheartening as it is to not get one myself, it really does bring me joy when I see how excited you all are and hope that one day I can feel that too

Sending lots of love to everyone in this thread 💕

kizzy97 · 07/01/2022 12:55

@HMFx I'm the exact same haven't dtd as much as I'd have liked to this month as DP has been ill and then he hurt his back and leg and it's all round not been a brilliant cycle this time round 😅 just been sat sobbing at one of DS's cartoons again (episodes I've watched half a millions times as well 🙃) so naturally my symptom spotting is kicking in 😂

Tinkerbell098 · 07/01/2022 13:20

Hi ladies, sorry I've been off for a couple of weeks due to the holidays and busy period at work. It's good to be back though.
Congrats to all who've had BFPs in the past week or so and so sorry to everyone who's experienced losses, it's very heart breaking. Fingers crossed 2022 will be our year!
I'm 1 dpo now and had a bit of a cry last night when it was our peak FW as it was all getting a bit too much. We've been trying for over a year now for baby #1 and everyone around me is having their second child. One of my best friends also asked me yesterday to pick up a second hand cot for them as the seller lived quite close to me. They are due in April. Although I am very happy for them, it also made me so upset as I know it worked for them first time and I was hoping to be in their position by now, hopefully picking up a cot for myself.
DH saw me in tears and was very supportive and although in the past he's been like " leave it to fate", he admitted it is also starting to get to him a little bit. We had a little chat afterwards, I cried a little bit more, but it led to the most amazing sex we've had in a long while. TTC has been bit of a chore up to now, so it was good to feel more connected again and I think it helped to let go of all the emotions I have been bottling up inside me.
I'm starting fertility acupuncture tomorrow, so will see how that goes. I've also booked a private appointment with a gynaecologist next month, as I'm not getting anywhere on the NHS. At least I feel like I'm being proactive and doing something.
Hope everyone's having a great Friday so far. Sorry for the long post.

mightbeyesmightbeno · 07/01/2022 13:51

@Tinkerbell098 nice (and sad after same time) to have you back. That was a really emotional post,my heart had a little pang for you. But I'm really pleased that you re-connected with your DH and had great sex... that always makes things better! It sometimes surprises me when I have a ❤️ to ❤️ with DH that he understands and feels more than I realise he does.

Great that you're starting a few things in the new year. I think 2022 is your year :)

2022WIP · 07/01/2022 13:55

Please can I join?

AF due Thursday. Cycle 2 of TTC1. Every time I feel slightly sick I convince myself I'm pregnant.

2022WIP · 07/01/2022 13:59

ps what pregnancy tests do people recommend? I only have CB ones but reading below, looks like they can't accurate!

Tinkerbell098 · 07/01/2022 14:07

@mightbeyesmightbeno thank you, it's good to be back too. Yes, DH really surprised me last night as I had no idea he felt the same way as he seemed pretty chilled so far.

@2022WIP welcome :) I think FRER is the go to test for a lot of us here.

kizzy97 · 07/01/2022 14:08

@Tinkerbell098 welcome back, I'm glad you've reconnected with DH and I'm glad you're feeling a little bit happier again. Hopefully this month will be it for you! Never apologise for long posts it's what we're all here for! Big hugs ❤

Hopingforarainbow27 · 07/01/2022 14:50

What dpo is everyone at? Anyone have any symptoms yet?

HelloNope · 07/01/2022 14:58

I tested again today. 6 days before AF due and bfn. I'm not surprised but I don't understand why I'm so compelled to test all the time!
I'm also due to start spotting anytime now if not pregnant.

I've been very grumpy too!

Just catching up with the thread now to see what everyone else has been up to!

Sassy144 · 07/01/2022 15:02

@Hopingforarainbow27 I'm 8 or 9dpo and I've had mild cramps, bit of backache and quite a lot of white/yellowish cm.. sorry if that's tmi haha. I'm only cycle 2 since coming off the pill though so hard to know what's normal! I'm due af on Sunday so if I don't see a big temp drop Sunday morning I'll test then. How are you?

Billymay · 07/01/2022 15:03

Hi ladies, nice to see some familiar names on previous threads. I’m 3dpo cycle 3 we bd cd6,8,12,13,14. Hoping this is our cycle. How’s everyone feeling today? So glad someone out this link on a thread I joined as I felt alone in this 2ww. Will read through it all in a bit. Xx

kizzy97 · 07/01/2022 15:10

@Hopingforarainbow27 8dpo according to my app (11dpo if ovulated when I'm sure I did) excessive ewcm, slight cramping, had very mild spotting on Tuesday, emotional (literally crying at nearly everything atm), tender breasts and nipples (on and off) and pelvic pain (had it on both sides but predominantly on my left) and dizziness (on and off)! Don't know what to think and don't want to get my hopes up, af due 14th so aiming to wait until then or 15th/16th to test! Determined not to test early this cycle (yeah right!) 😅😂

mightbeyesmightbeno · 07/01/2022 15:17

@Hopingforarainbow27

4 or 5 days PO and diddly squat in the way of symptoms!
Hopingforarainbow27 · 07/01/2022 15:41

@Sassy144 I think I might be 8dpo. Static smiley on 29th December. I have had lotion like cm as well. Not as much today but yesterday and the day before there was quite a lot. Boobs are a wee bit sore when I squeeze them but sometimes that happens before af. I've convinced myself I'm not pregnant though!

@kizzy97 ah we are the same dpo! I'm going to test on Wednesday if af hasn't arrived as that will be 13dpo and my luteal phase is always 13!

@mightbeyesmightbeno the Tww is torture!

MummyMe87 · 07/01/2022 15:42

Late to the party here.
I’m TTC #3, I have two DS 7 and 3 (4 next week). I had an unplanned pregnancy in summer 2020 which resulted in a ruptured ectopic and lost a tube.
Had mirena coil out in autumn time and started TTC in December but got covid in time for FW so wasn’t really holding out for much.
I’m 7dpo I think, had two days of positive OPK 30/31 December. I’m going to test Monday at 10dpo, cycles used to be 16days but last month 29 which I suspect was due to covid.
I’m manically symptom spotting, have been getting twinges and pains in left groin area and lower back ache. My boss asked if I was pregnant yesterday as I was being very forgetful and ditsy. No CM at all! Nada! bar two small amounts of cloudy mucous 5 and 6dpo.

Hopingforarainbow27 · 07/01/2022 15:43

I've had the odd twinge but I had twinges in the October/November cycle too lol!

Billymay · 07/01/2022 15:59

The only symptom I have is I’m really snappy but might just be because I’m tired and today I have what feels like the start of a headache. I’m only 3dpo so thinking I just need a early night. Xx

Purple29 · 07/01/2022 16:02

@Mummyme87 hi, I am currently ttc #2, my DS is 2 in March. I had an ectopic in Dec and lost a tube on hogmanay. Can I ask how long it was till your cycle was back to normal? I've not had a bleed yet so don't know when to start trying again.
I'm still a bit tender so we haven't dtd since it all happened so know I will be out this month. Sounds crazy but all I want is to be pregnant again!!

Tinkerbell098 · 07/01/2022 16:07

@kizzy97 thanks! It's good to be back. How are you getting on? When do you plan to test? I'm just entering my TWW so it'll be a long wait. Hope this is our month!

MummyMe87 · 07/01/2022 16:15

@Purple29 sorry to read about your ectopic. It’s really devastating isn’t it.
I think once bleeding stopped I had a normal cycle and period 3weeks later

RosyappleA · 07/01/2022 16:18

@DancinOnTheCeiling so sorry to hear that, i was the exact same last month my cycle is 28 days always for the last 20 odd years so i thought this is my month when i got random early spotting which i thought was implantation as I have had that twice before. Also had EWCM and increased libido after ovulation. Crazy how everything was fine before and now we are trying things throw me off guard all the time.

@kizzy97 had a good chuckle about your OT and it falling off haha. Mine had never been one to complain but I think it got a bit much the other night too lool.

One side effect which i really haven’t welcomed with this TTC malarky is that i now have gained weight. So i look pregnant instead of actually being pregnant…in fact I think everyone at work thinks I am so i am which adds pressure so I am on a diet as of today no more chocolate for me, can you hear the violins in the background?

@Lillyofthevalley15 I am exactly the same with ..”TTC, now cycle 3 and despite having a medical background I fully expected it to happen within the first few months!” I also never expected to have a miscarriage either even though i conceived quickly. Feels like it never will happen now.

Purple29 · 07/01/2022 16:56

@Mummyme87 yeah it is really devastating. I still am not convinced that mentally I'm over the shock of it all. It all happened so quickly, I just can't stop thinking about it but it still feels surreal if that makes sense?! They said we could try again as soon as I get a neg test after 2 weeks. Thanks for replying and 🤞🤞 we get our little rainbows 🌈 soon x
