Anyone due to get BFP/AF at Xmas?

The pressure is on... in the TWW and AF is due right around Xmas. Spending the holidays with my in laws, and both wanting to drink through the holidays/not drink as in the TWW. I’m also dreading a little bit of feeling down if I get AF right at Xmas. If anyone is looking for a TWW companion/obsessor here I am ☺️. Thank you, I had my booster this morning and I thought the metallic taste might be from that!

I had placenta previa in my last pregnancy (age 43) and the surgeon strictly told me and my husband 'No more babies!' Whoops

Welcome to all the new joiners! I’m still here and still waiting to test. AF not officially due until tomorrow so been holding out for that, no real symptoms other than slight nausea every now and then but nothing major, but you never know! I think I’m going to buy a test today so I’ve got one in stock if AF doesn’t show, don’t want to be stuck without one tomorrow!

Another bfn on a first response. No af. But not due until Boxing Day. But I'm off to buy wine for tomorrow I think. I will test again in the morning just in case. 😢 still nauseous.

In shock here. Faint line on a FRER this morning. I cannot believe it and probably won’t until it gets darker. I seemingly ovulated later than I thought! :O

@oldermam that's disappointing with the BFN, I've not tested since Wednesday but had a BFN then and felt a bit sad. AF due tomorrow.

I ran out of FRER so used a cheepie this morning and didn't even get a control line so that was a waste of time! Going to wait now until tomorrow morning (FRER arriving later today)

Morning all, well I went shopping at 4am and bought 4 tests. Got him and all self control went out the window. Both have lines, please tell me you all see them too and I’m not ABSOLUTELY crazy

@TheBirdintheCave, ooh exciting - I am bad at seeing vvfl on photos but I know how much fainter they come up on camera. If it's there, it's there. 🤞🤞 they get darker!

@Chasingrainbows1518 they're so clear! You're definitely not going crazy! I love that 4am trip, so funny! A lovely Christmas present!

@TheBirdintheCave I'm terrible at spotting faint lines on photos but really pleased for you! Hope they darken up over the next few days 😀

Hi ladies! I’m new here.. been ttc for 3months.. I developed a weird/foul/metallic taste in mouth accompanied with period cramping when I was due on.. I am now 4 days late.. took a preg test this morning and BFN.. 😞has anyone else had similar?? Am I testing too early? Thanks!

@Shortmamashortcycles @LittleMrsMama Haha yes I just realised you can barely see it at all in the photo so now I just look crazy! i was just so excited I didn’t even look at the photo.

I have seen about ten thousand blank FRERs in the course of trying to have my son in 2018-2020 so to see appear at all other than stark white is miraculous to me haha.

Morning all, wasn't going to test until Christmas day at 11dpo but did it today at 10dpo for some reason using easy@home hcg test and it looks negative 😔 AF due Tuesday so I guess there's still a chance but now I don't feel very hopeful at all...

Lots of BFPs on here though so I'm really really happy for everyone getting their Christmas miracles! Hope there are many more to come ✨

@Chasingrainbows1518 whoop!!! great present. How many dpo are you?

@Strawberryicelollie it's not over until AF appears. Are you using your first morning wee? What tests are you using? Some people don't get a positive for a while. Wait a couple of days and test again. The signs are good!

@oldermam and @LittleMrsMama see you here tomorrow morning. Though I'll only be 8dpo so it's unlikely to show anything yet!

@HRHXO you've still got four days... and they say don't test until your period is late... so don't be too down yet!

@pennysays I’m not sure exactly how many dpo I am, I’ve only been using the clue app to track my dates and according to that I ovulated on 11th December. We DTD on 6th, 8th, 9th and 11th December. I wasn’t going to test until tomorrow but after stocking up on tests this morning I could resist lol…so those aren’t taken with FMU. Will do another one tomorrow and see if it’s darker. And then try and hold off a few days before doing a cb digi. Hoping I get more symptoms as at the moment only feeling slightly nauseous now and again and very very very slightly sore boobs, barely noticeable. I’ve had chemical pregs before so I’ll probably spend the next week convincing myself that’s what this is until proven otherwise 😩

@Strawberryicelollie sorry about the BFN. Your symptoms and late AF do still sound promising though so I wouldn’t lose hope until AF arrives. What tests are you using and are you using FMU?

@HRHXO sorry about your BFN 😔 but I agree with @pennysays it could still be a little early yet if you still have 4 days until AF is due so don’t lose hope just yet!

Another BFN for new this morning, only on a cheapie (but says is sensitivity to 10iumol/ml, that still makes in a cheapie.
Very upset yesterday about it all. Still time to test positive but losing hope for it to be the christmas present we wished for

9dpo!!!! Literally couldn't believe my eyes when this came up! I've just had a mad panic to wrap it up with a baby grow and give it to DP as an early Christmas present. He told me "I thought it was going to be socks!" 😂

Seriously didn't think it would happen this quick! I've got endometriosis and have had surgery for it so always felt that we might have trouble but this is our 3rd cycle trying. I hope this can give some hope to any of my other endo warriors ❤️

Wow, lots of BFPs over the last day or so. Congratulations!!! So exciting!!!

@frenchie4002 - I tested today and a stark white undeniable BFN… didn’t expect anything else sadly. Trying not to let it get me down too much.

I’m 10dpo (going by my OvuSense ovulation date, rather than the Natural Cycles retrospective changed date which would make me only 8dpo. In reality I’m probably somewhere in-between as neither claim to be 100% accurate). 😫

Will test again each morning until AF arrives…(due around 27th).

I'm also 9DPO but I'm terrified to test... trying to hang on til Sunday and beginning to panic about AF starting every 5 mins. Oh dear...
