Anyone due to get BFP/AF at Xmas?

The pressure is on... in the TWW and AF is due right around Xmas. Spending the holidays with my in laws, and both wanting to drink through the holidays/not drink as in the TWW. I’m also dreading a little bit of feeling down if I get AF right at Xmas. If anyone is looking for a TWW companion/obsessor here I am ☺️. Woke up to brown spotting so I think I’m having a chemical :( I can still see the faint pink line on yesterday’s test (though I can’t photograph it no matter how hard I try) and it came up within a minute so I don’t think it’s an indent or a false positive (the other one from this pack showed its negative very clearly) :/ I’m so disappointed but I suppose I can have a cider later on now :)

I've only just read this. I'm sorry you're spotting I know it can be really worrying. It doesn't always mean it's bad news, I had 3 days of spotting with my daughter, she's currently snoring away on my chest x

Merry Christmas, another BFN here and having a glass of wine to make myself feel a bit better. AF due today and no sign of it though and really 'feel' pregnant as I did with my DD but feel like surely a test would confirm pregnancy by now so must be in my head. Not exactly sure when I ovulated but estimate I'd probably be around DPO14.

I hope the other ladies with BFNs are feeling ok and big congrats to those with BFPs!

@TheBirdintheCave I hope everything is ok, I know a few people with spotting during pregnancy and they had very happy and healthy babies so hopefully it's the same for you xx

Sadly I woke up to brown spotting which is slowly getting heavier and with all the usual AF cramps and backaches, so 10DPO and out.

Oh well - onwards into 2022!

I was convinced AF was coming. I cracked on with the wine. Still no AF. I'm at OH's house up the road now. And my first response and other tests are at home 🙈 we've had a lovely day, his dad was actually quite coherent when he got there. OH took him a glass of whisky, it made his dads year I think ❤️

Im a day behind you and feel the same! No af. Nausea, /sore boobs and tiredness to the extreme but BFN yesterday!

Fingers crossed it's just too early and not in our heads!

Due on in 7 days! Then this on Christmas Eve

@Becca92xo I’m never sure whether to trust blue dyes as they’re prone to evaps. Fingers crossed for you though! Let us know if you test again and it gets darker :)

I’m still spotting, sometimes pink sometimes brown though it seems a little heavier than yesterday. We’re going to pick up some more FRERs in a minute and then I’ll take one tonight or tomorrow morning if AF still hasn’t started. I don’t think it’s looking promising though.

checking in on everyone today. Went on instagram to see EVERYONE'S babies in elf costumes or whatever. Feeling a bit blue about it all.

Will test tomorrow which will be 10dpo which is normally when I get my period. No symptoms of anything right now! With my first I had boobs that felt like they were shooting lazer beams out of them. So...we'll see.

Got this this morning 💗 af due in 3 days took a cheapie and there was the faintest line ever so this took me by surprise x

@TheBirdintheCave thank you! I did a cheapie yesterday and thought I saw something stared at it for ages and did another but then I couldn’t see anything. Had the wine with dinner and in the evening so feeling guilty for that.

This is yesterdays cheapie and this mornings…

Was about to test. Thought I'd wipe first, AF. So didn't need to test, 😢 oh is up the hospital. His dad is unresponsive today so he's staying there. I'm on a night shift tonight. What a shitty day x

Sending well wishes to those with negative results, I also got a negative on frer this morning 3 days before af is due so I’m counting myself out. Feels shit. Going to wallow for a while then pick myself up and look forward. Soon will be our time xx

@frenchie4002 - 3 days out from AF due date could still be too early for your BFP. Keep us updated 🌟

I got a stark white BFN yesterday (25th) so decided not to test again until tomorrow. AF is due around 28th, so not holding out much hope as I have zero symptoms apart from an occasional stabbing pain to the left of my pelvis, which could just be from too much Christmas indulgence 😂

Thanks for the positivity @i123i xxx I was looking at the frer statistics though and it's over 99% accurate for 3 days before af :( so weird because I had really bad cramps a week or so ago which I was sure was a sign as I had that last pregnancy but maybe symptoms/ovulation etc is still all over the place from the miscarriage.
Sorry for your bfn too but there's still hope, fingers crossed no af. We can keep each other company in the home stretch of the last few days wait. Hope you had a lovely day yesterday. Any nice plans for today?

AF arrived today, feeling a bit down about it but feel like new year new start and I'm sure my time will come when it's right!

It's been great having some positive stories with the BFPs and also the support and shared disappointment with the BFNs so hopefully catch up again this time next month!

Took another test after a four hour hold and my faint line is practically non existent so I think I’m safe to call this a chemical pregnancy. On the positive side, at least we know we can get pregnant (we have male factor fertility issues and our son was a miracle after 16 months of trying) and that was a real worry. Hopefully we can just repeat everything we did this cycle in the next and fingers crossed we get lucky again :)
